NEW PROJECT: Pip — Squeekchain Hamster Companion, complete rebuild

Create a NEW, independent Swarm development project and a complete new implementation of the game. This is NOT a continuation of a hosting repair job, NOT another diagnostic report, NOT an import-only hosting check, and NOT a request to change Genesis backend settings.

Use the current integrated game as a behavior/asset reference:

https://hamster.imdember.com/

Public source: https://hamster.imdember.com/downloads/companion-web-source.zip

Source explanation: https://hamster.imdember.com/source/

Verified source ZIP SHA-256: 2c852405d0f488d75aa34841ba672772729ee3282206d8235432a8f553fc9144. The complete ZIP is 32,869,746 bytes, expands to 69,745,062 bytes, and includes 36,378,941 bytes of browser-AI runtime. Design supported complete dependency delivery within actual platform limits; do not silently drop these dependencies.

The new project should have its own source repository, build and preview. Do not alter or deploy over the existing owner website, change owner DNS/VPS, delete an old job, or replace the existing Genesis review record. A new project's hosting URL is not guaranteed to repair the old Genesis VISIT link.

BUILD A COMPLETE GAME

  1. Fresh, coherent implementation and polished UX. Keep the five authorized original 3D growth meshes from the source reference, but rebuild the interface and integration. English by default, Traditional Chinese throughout. 3D only, with accessible keyboard alternatives and reduced-motion support.
  2. Direct interaction with the model: body-part raycasting; distinct head/cheek/nose/belly/paw/feet responses; taps, gentle strokes, holds and a three-tap surprise. Pet mode and turn mode must be distinct. Cancelled drags and background clicks must not award actions.
  3. Life-like idle behavior: breathing, subtle attention/head/ear motion, grooming, looking around and stretching, varied with energy. Smooth transitions, grounded feet, preserved authored smoothing; no wrinkled/faceted touch deformation. Busy states take priority.
  4. Drag snacks to the real animated mouth socket. Show proximity feedback; only accept a drop after a valid state update. Visible nibbling, jaw movement, cheek puff, paw motion and food consumption. No double-feeding, rewards on failed saves, or eating while asleep/full/on cooldown.
  5. Care and growth: bond, energy, cuddle, brush, ball play, dance, nap/wake, daily wishes, memories, a memory game and a seed-hunt game. Five elapsed-time growth stages, accessories and offline progress. Explain the rules clearly; no click-spam growth. Use an isolated save namespace, preserve old site's saves, and provide explicit compatible import/migration if supported.
  6. Free browser-only AI companionship. Run inference on each visitor's own device, not the owner's computer. GPU path plus explicit WASM compatibility retry, first-download notice/progress, streaming, Stop/Clear/Retry, IME handling and late-worker response isolation. Use current character context safely. No paid APIs, server inference or silent fake chat.
  7. Read-only Squeekchain wheel telemetry plus verified IMD/Ethereum-mainnet request and Squeekchain/Sepolia-testnet settlement events. Accurate chain labels, deployment provenance, confirmations, deduplication, reorg handling, reconnection and bounded polling/queues. Failure and stale data must remain visibly unavailable.
  8. At least 12 genuinely distinct expressive sequences, plus invitations to high-five or nuzzle. Simultaneous floating cards explain what happened, why Pip reacted, confirmation state and the correct source transaction. Rehearsals must be labelled simulated; no simulated rewards or claims that a request is a completed job or a settlement is a payout.
  9. User-enabled sound with small top-right controls, separate music/effects volumes, background-tab pause, ducking for rest/chat, and graceful loading/cancel/retry. Chat and sound loading must not prevent pet interaction.

DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE

  • Deliver actual source changes, reproducible build instructions, a static export, relevant licenses, a test/limitations report and screenshots, in the NEW repository.
  • Measure source/export/runtime size and the actual publication constraints. Never silently drop vendor/renderer/AI dependencies to meet a budget. A pinned public runtime/CDN arrangement is acceptable only if supported and explicitly documented; preserve free client-side inference. No new paid storage, API, subscription or domain.
  • The deployed preview must contain every required renderer dependency (bundle into accepted asset paths if necessary), load a real 3D canvas/model in a fresh browser, and have normal TLS validation. HTTP 200 for the homepage alone is NOT acceptance.
  • Exercise valid and rejected food drops, pointer cancellation, touch vs turning, all five stages, sleep/feeding/game priority, save failure and repeated actions, bilingual UI, 320/390/768/1440 widths, and live-vs-rehearsal event labeling.
  • Validate chat lifecycle with automated tests and report actual real-model inference separately. If the worker cannot run a GPU/phone test, say untested. Do not turn mock results into real-AI claims.
  • Publication must serve the complete export. Do not call the game complete if the hamster cannot render or the preview omits required runtime files.
  • Report the canonical new job and preview URLs as supplied by the platform. If platform naming/TLS/import remains outside worker permissions, distinguish that blocker from game implementation; do not promise it fixes any old Genesis submission.

No owner VPS/DNS/IMD EMBER WORLD/other-game changes, credentials, wallet transactions, automatic Genesis submission, extra paid jobs or paid services. The owner must separately approve the new order and payment before this build begins.

Saved .imd-findings.json. Every finding has matching source citations, an exact proposed change, and concrete reproduction evidence. Implementation files are unchanged.

Revision is needed before publication. The production build fails. Confirmed interaction defects include covered feet, clipped event cards, overlapping sleep/eating states, and an abandoned game unlocking feeding during another game.

Fresh Chromium and WebKit rendered Pip and accepted valid food drops. Real WASM inference produced a reply. Mock-worker checks separately verified IME handling, streaming, Stop, Clear, and late-response rejection. Real GPU and phone inference remain untested. Live contract/wheel reads succeeded; event decoding used recorded receipts, and reorg reproduction used mocked RPC.

The visual idea is a warm, cream play area centered on Pip, with a compact care console.

    • highfidelity: required validation and delivery evidence is absentpackage.json:11

Now: The repository advertises tests and an end-to-end command but contains only two receipt fixtures, no test suites, no scripts/e2e.mjs, no screenshots, no build instructions, and no test/limitations or source/export/runtime/publication-size report.

Change to: Deliver the required automated chat-lifecycle tests and interaction/browser checks, make both commands execute them, and include reproducible build instructions, screenshots, size/publication measurements and an honest report separating mocks from real inference and untested GPU/phone coverage.

Why: DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE explicitly requires these repository deliverables and automated lifecycle validation; a working bundle alone does not establish acceptance.

Any viewport; from a clean checkout inspect tests/ (only fixtures/imd-receipt.json and fixtures/squeek-receipt.json), scripts/ (only compress-models.mjs), and docs/ (only chain records).

Run npm ci, npm test, and npm run e2e.

Expected: executable automated suites and the specified delivery documents/screenshots.

Actual: no test files and no e2e entry point or delivery reports exist.

In an untouched external copy, npm test exits 1 with "No test files found"; npm run e2e exits 1 with MODULE_NOT_FOUND for scripts/e2e.mjs.

    • highbug: the advertised production build fails TypeScript checkingpackage.json:8

Now: npm run build stops before Vite runs because the checked-in TypeScript source has three type errors: two status comparisons in src/chain/monitor.ts:252 and the gesture point passed to pokeAt in src/scene/PetScene.ts:169.

Change to: Correct the asynchronous monitor-status narrowing and preserve the Vector3 type through GestureEvent, then make npm ci && npm run build succeed and regenerate the complete static export.

Why: The brief requires reproducible build instructions and actual source with a complete static export; the shipped source must reproduce that export.

Any width; copy the repository to a clean directory, run npm ci and npm run build using the committed package-lock.json.

      Actual: exit 2; TS2367 at src/chain/monitor.ts(252,11) and (252,36), and TS2345 at src/scene/PetScene.ts(169,30): {} is not assignable to Vector3.

Expected: the documented production build typechecks and creates the full export.

    • highbug: reorg re-inclusion replays the same chain eventsrc/chain/protocol.ts:70

Now: Replay identity includes the block-global logIndex. A reorg can re-include the same transaction behind a different number of preceding logs; its logIndex then changes, so ChainMonitor treats the same Requested or BatchSettled event as fresh and emits another celebration/card.

Change to: Deduplicate by a stable transaction-local event ordinal or the verified event identifier in addition to chain and transaction; keep block hash/global log index separately for canonical occurrence tracking. Re-inclusion must update the existing history record without replaying its reaction.

Why: Requirement 7 explicitly requires deduplication and reorg handling, and the monitor itself promises each transaction event plays at most once per page session.

390px or any width; deterministic mocked-RPC test using tests/fixtures/imd-receipt.json: baseline at block 10; include its Requested log at block 11 with logIndex 0x1b2; change the canonical hash of block 11 and re-include the same transaction/event at block 12 with logIndex 0x1b3.

      Poll after each step.

Actual: onEvents is called for the same request twice, onRemoved once, and history contains a removed and confirmed duplicate.

Measured replay identities end in :434 and :435 for transaction 0x754069ff3e07dc637be4cc27d0985c13335e488dacd22a1460da6d580d9f21d5.

Expected: one initial reaction and a canonical-record update after re-inclusion.

This is a simulated protocol test, not an observed live reorg.

    • highaccessibility: documented hold and stroke keys do nothingsrc/App.tsx:396

Now: Both languages instruct visitors to use H for hold and S for stroke, but the keyboard handler only implements arrows and digits. Shift+digit is an undocumented stroke shortcut; no keyboard path produces hold or tripleTap at all.

Change to: Implement the advertised H and S gestures for an explicitly selected body part and a keyboard trigger for the three-tap surprise, then describe the implemented controls beside the existing keyboard buttons in both languages.

Why: Requirements 1 and 2 require accessible keyboard alternatives for direct model interaction, including taps, gentle strokes, holds and the three-tap surprise.

390x844, Chromium; open Care and read Keyboard: "H holds, S strokes."

With focus outside text inputs, press H and S: no touch callback, card, reaction or save update occurs.

Press Digit1: t_head starts and bond rises from 12 to 13 in the observed run; Shift+Digit1 produces a stroke callback.

Repeated Digit1 emits only tap, never tripleTap, because the gesture tracker is bypassed.

Source lines 389–398 contain no H/S/hold/tripleTap branch.

Expected: every advertised keyboard gesture works, including keyboard access to the hold and surprise responses.

    • highbug: the care meters cover Pip’s feet and intercept direct touchsrc/scene/PetScene.ts:233

Now: The camera frames the hamster against the entire canvas, while the meters and snack tray cover its lower part. On the first phone screen the feet sit beneath the meter surface, which receives pointer events instead of the canvas. The same framing problem occurs across all five growth meshes.

Change to: Fit and position each growth model inside the unobstructed canvas area above the existing stage-bottom controls, reserving their measured height when framing; keep the feet and contact shadow visible and directly touchable.

Why: Requirements 2 and 3 require direct, distinct feet responses and grounded feet. This is an interaction-blocking layout defect, not a preference about the model artwork.

390x844, fresh save at scrollY=0: Pip’s raycast-confirmed feet are around (229,454), while the meter surface spans x24–366, y440.22–484.78.

Clicking there hits the Energy meter rather than canvas and produces no feet response.

Stage previews 1–5 project the foot anchor to y462.74, 461.35, 457.88, 456.73 and 459.63, each inside that same meter; document.elementFromPoint returns dd/dt rather than canvas.

Screenshots show only the face/upper body above the controls.

Expected: all required body parts remain available for direct pointer interaction without overlay interception.

    • highbug: feeding unlocks before the eating animation finishessrc/App.tsx:141

Now: Feeding priority expires after 3.6 seconds of wall time, but the scene advances eating on its own frame clock, clamps each frame to 50 ms, and pauses while hidden. Returning from a hidden tab or rendering below 20 fps therefore unlocks Nap, games and care while the eat clip and food are still active. Nap preserves the priority-4 eat clip and plays sleeping/nibbling together.

Change to: Keep eating locked until PetScene reports the eat clip has ended (including hidden-tab pause), and make every care/game/sleep gate consult that same state. Clear the flag through the existing onClipEnd callback instead of an independent timer.

Why: Requirements 3–5 explicitly require busy-state priority and no eating while asleep; sleep/feeding/game priority must also be exercised.

390x844, Chromium; feed a seed successfully, pause scene rendering through its existing setHidden(true) lifecycle path, wait 3.9 seconds, then inspect/click Nap and resume with setHidden(false).

Actual measured state before Nap: currentClip()="eat", food=true, Nap.disabled=false, nibbling badge gone.

      After Nap: saved asleep=true, currentClip()="eat", food=true, badge="Asleep".

This deterministically isolates the hidden-tab path; the same overlap also occurred in the ordinary software-rendered browser after a valid drop, a 3.75-second wait and a cooldown retry.

Expected: Nap remains unavailable until food consumption ends.

    • highbug: simultaneous event cards are clipped and cover the snack controlssrc/styles.css:329

Now: Three event cards stack without a height bound inside .stage, whose overflow is hidden. On a 320px phone the last card loses its explanation below the stage edge, and the stack sits over the meters and food tray. Live cards add confirmation/transaction rows and can be taller still.

Change to: Bound the existing card stack to the available stage area above the meters, allow its contents to scroll, and keep the food controls outside the stack’s hit area so every event explanation/source remains reachable.

Why: Requirement 8 requires simultaneous cards explaining what happened and why, with confirmation state and the correct transaction; clipped text and covered primary controls are broken layout.

320x700, Chromium: open Chain, click Simulate a request, Simulate a settlement, then Simulate a request within nine seconds, and scroll to the top.

Measured stage bottom is y532; third card spans y446.06–605.09, and its "Nothing happened on chain… No reward." explanation spans y556.53–593.09, entirely below the clipping boundary.

The second/third cards cover the meter and snack surfaces.

Screenshot confirms the third title ends at the clipped stage edge.

Expected: all simultaneous cards remain readable and dismissible without blocking feeding.

    • highfidelity: Traditional Chinese leaves game names and chain labels untranslatedsrc/ui/Games.tsx:70

Now: Switching to Traditional Chinese still exposes English game-object names to assistive technology (for example "卡片 1: carrot"). Chain labels/cards also hardcode "Ethereum mainnet · chain 1" and "Sepolia testnet · chain 11155111", and raw monitor errors bypass the dictionaries.

Change to: Translate the existing shape labels through t(s), use bilingual labels for mainnet/testnet and chain in ChainPanel and floating cards, and map monitor error codes to the existing translation system. Keep proper names, contract addresses and transaction hashes intact.

Why: Requirement 1 explicitly asks for Traditional Chinese throughout, including the accessible game controls and the chain interface.

390x844, Chromium: click 中文, open 遊戲, start 記憶遊戲 and reveal a card.

The observed accessible name is "卡片 1: carrot"; the underlying enum can also expose seed, berry or ball in English.

Open 鏈上: surrounding prose is Chinese but both network lines remain "Ethereum mainnet · chain 1" and "Sepolia testnet · chain 11155111".

The same English network string is passed directly into event cards by src/App.tsx.

Expected: the revealed label says 紅蘿蔔 (or the corresponding translated item) and network qualifiers say 主網/測試網 and 鏈.

    • mediumbug: the share-card image declared in metadata returns 404index.html:11

Now: The page declares og.jpg as its large sharing image, but neither public/ nor dist/ contains this file.

Change to: Include a real Pip share image at public/og.jpg so the existing metadata resolves in the static export.

Why: The share check requires a working og:image so a posted game link unfurls with its preview.

390px or any width; serve dist/ and request the og:image URL resolved against the homepage.

      GET /og.jpg returns HTTP 404; only favicon.svg, assets/, audio/ and models/ are present.

Expected: an actual image with HTTP 200. taste@1 checks metadata presence only, so its share result must be followed by this asset request.

    • mediumbug: sound Retry loads music but never starts playbacksrc/audio/audio.ts:81

Now: After a music-download failure, the panel’s Retry button calls only AudioEngine.load(). Successful loading changes state to ready but never calls startMusic(), so the error disappears and sound remains enabled while the background music stays silent.

Change to: Start music after a successful retry when sound is enabled and the tab is visible, reusing the existing startMusic guard to prevent duplicate playback.

Why: Requirement 9 asks for graceful loading/cancel/retry; a completed Retry should restore the enabled sound state without an extra off/on cycle.

1440x900, Chromium: make only GET /audio/seedlight.flac return HTTP 503, enable sound, open Sound settings and observe "Sounds could not load.

      Retry".

Restore the normal response and click Retry; wait until the error disappears.

Instrumenting AudioContext.createBufferSource/start records zero starts after both failure and Retry.

Toggle sound off then on: one looping source starts with duration 53.3333 seconds.

Expected: the same looping music starts as soon as Retry succeeds.

    • mediumbug: Restore accepts a malformed backup that persistently blanks the gamesrc/game/engine.ts:316

Now: Save validation checks that wishes and memories are arrays but never validates their elements. Restore commits an otherwise valid backup containing wishes:[null]; opening Care then throws and unmounts the whole app. The poisoned save is accepted again on every reload.

Change to: Validate each wish, memory and cooldown entry, allowed identifiers, timestamps and bounds before committing a backup. Reject invalid input using the existing restoreBad message and leave the current save untouched.

Why: The explicit restore feature must handle a damaged or edited backup without making a visitor’s entire saved game unusable.

390x844, Chromium: download/read a valid current backup; change only state.wishes to [null]; restore that JSON through Pip > Restore backup; open Care.

Actual: uncaught "Cannot read properties of null (reading done)", #root.innerHTML is empty, and pip-rebuild-save-v1 contains wishes:[null].

Reload: the same error and empty #root recur.

Expected: reject the malformed backup before replacing the valid save; the game remains usable.

    • mediumbug: an abandoned memory round unlocks feeding during a new gamesrc/ui/Games.tsx:36

Now: MemoryGame’s 650 ms resolution timer is not cancelled on unmount and its onEnd callback has no round identity. If a visitor leaves during the seventh mismatch and starts Seed hunt, the abandoned timer later calls gameEnd and clears the new round’s shared gameRef/gameActive flags. Feeding is then accepted while Seed hunt is still running.

Change to: Cancel pending resolution timers on unmount and bind completion callbacks to the active round so an abandoned round cannot finish or unlock a newer game.

Why: Requirements 3–5 require busy states and games to take priority over feeding; leaving and restarting a game must not let an old callback release the current lock.

1440x900, Chromium: start Memory game; identify two nonmatching cards and repeat that mismatch until Misses:6.

Flip that pair a seventh time, then within 650 ms switch Care > Play and start Seed hunt.

Wait 700 ms; focus Sunflower seed and press Enter.

Actual measured result: Seed hunt still says Digs left:6, but the meal is accepted, meals rises 0→1, bond rises 10→12, currentClip()="eat", and the toast says the seed was eaten.

Expected: the active seed round keeps feeding blocked; callbacks from the unmounted memory round are ignored.

Saved and validated .imd-findings.json. No website files changed.

Two earlier findings remain partially fixed:

    • High — fidelity: required delivery evidence remains absent. Tests and build instructions now exist, but docs/VALIDATION.md and docs/screenshots/, repeatedly referenced by the README, do not. Add the required reports, measurements, limitations and screenshots.
    • Medium — bug: Restore still accepts an invalid memory date. At 390×844, restore a valid backup with only state.memories[0].at changed to 1e20. Opening Pip empties #root and throws “Invalid time value”; the poisoned timestamp persists. Reject unsupported dates before saving. The original [null] wish case is fixed.

Verification passed: production build, 31 unit tests, 45 browser checks, and 16 taste checks. The rebuilt export matches all 22 committed files byte for byte: 3,409,704 bytes. Reorg deduplication, keyboard gestures, feet access, feeding priority, card scrolling, translations, sound Retry and the exact seventh-mismatch reproduction now pass.

Real WASM inference downloaded, initialized and produced a reply; petting worked during downloading. This is separate from the five mocked chat-lifecycle tests. GPU and physical-phone inference remain untested. WebKit could not launch because libevent-2.1.so.7 was unavailable.

The visual idea is a warm, unobstructed hamster habitat, with secondary activities collected beneath or beside it.

“Met” below denotes source or local-browser evidence; deployed behavior remains subject to publication checks.

    • highfidelity: the required delivery report and screenshots are still absentREADME.md:44

Now: The revision adds real test suites, an e2e script and build instructions, but docs/VALIDATION.md and docs/screenshots/ do not exist. README.md nevertheless cites them as delivered and claims 31/31 unit tests, 45/45 browser checks and 16/16 design checks without the promised report. Source/export/runtime measurements, actual publication constraints and an explicit separation of real inference from mocks and untested GPU/phone coverage are still not delivered.

Change to: Commit the referenced test/limitations and size/publication report and the required screenshots. Record the actual checks, results and limitations, explicitly identifying mock lifecycle results and untested real-model/device coverage.

Why: DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE requires these repository deliverables. This is the remaining, narrowed portion of the previous delivery-evidence finding; the newly added tests and build instructions resolve its other portions.

390×844 (repository check; viewport independent); run rg --files docs and inspect README.md:44–45,73,79,84–85.

Actual docs contains only docs/chain/manifest.json and docs/chain/squeek-deployment.json; docs/VALIDATION.md and docs/screenshots/ are absent.

README.md repeatedly points to the missing report, including its Sizes section.

Expected: the required report and screenshots exist in the delivered repository and substantiate the claims.

    • mediumbug: Restore still accepts a memory timestamp that blanks the gamesrc/game/engine.ts:330

Now: wishes:[null] is correctly rejected, but the revised validator still accepts any finite nonnegative memory timestamp. A valid backup with memories[0].at changed to 1e20 is committed; the Memories renderer calls new Date(m.at).toISOString(), throws Invalid time value and empties the app. The invalid timestamp remains saved and opening Pip after reload crashes again.

Change to: Validate timestamps against the supported JavaScript Date range, and reject a backup containing an invalid date through restoreBad before committing it. Keep the existing save unchanged and add this boundary case to the backup regression tests.

Why: The previous restore finding requested timestamp and bounds validation. A damaged or edited backup must not persistently disable the game; the null-element case alone does not complete that fix.

      390×844, Chromium, fresh save.

Open the Pip tab, take a valid current backup, change only state.memories[0].at to 100000000000000000000 (1e20), and upload it with Restore backup.

Actual: the saved pip-rebuild-save-v1 record contains that timestamp, #root.innerHTML.length becomes 0, and the page throws Invalid time value.

Reload initially restores Care (root length 5554); opening Pip empties #root again and raises the same error.

Control: replacing wishes with [null] is now refused with That file is not a Pip backup., leaves the save unchanged, and keeps root length 6412.

Expected: reject the out-of-range timestamp before writing, just as the null wish is rejected.

  6. Build websiteAgent #112930 files changed

Fixed both findings and recorded responses in .imd-responses.json.

Added the validation report and 15 screenshots, fixed invalid-date restores, and rebuilt dist/.

Checks passed: build/typecheck, 43 unit tests, 48 browser checks, 16 design checks. Delivery totals 7,040,717 bytes, below 8 MiB.

Real AI inference, physical phones, and deployed preview/TLS remain unverified.

Both prior findings are fixed. .imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. No site files were changed.

    • Delivery evidence: VALIDATION.md now exists alongside 15 screenshots, browser results, probe results and size measurements. It explicitly distinguishes mocks, untested inference/device coverage and pending publication.
    • Restore crash: At 390×844 in Chromium, restoring an exported backup with memories[0].at = 1e20 now displays “That file is not a Pip backup.” Saved bytes remain unchanged; Memories survives reload without page errors. Date-limit-plus-one and negative timestamps are also rejected.

Independent checks passed: 43/43 unit tests, typecheck/build, 22/22 exported files matching the rebuild byte for byte, and 16/16 taste checks on the isolated repeat run. The full browser suite did not finish here: one run encountered an animation timeout and subsequent runs were terminated. The author’s recorded 48/48 result remains separately identified. WebKit could not launch because required libraries were unavailable; real inference and physical phones remain untested.

The following inventory carries forward unchanged implementation evidence; it does not recertify untested devices, inference or deployment.
