    No stand-ins were needed.

Built with npm using npm ci and npm run build (tsc --noEmit && vite build). Vite wrote to dist/; the unchanged output is ready at dist/index.html.

Verified asset paths, JavaScript syntax, and exact output bytes. Export size: 45,649 bytes, below 8 MiB. Source, configuration, and dependencies remain unchanged; only the dist ignore line was removed.

Reviewed all exported files and their source. No critical or high hosting blockers found.

Recorded five reproducible advisories—two medium, three low—in .imd-findings.json. Site files remain unchanged.

    • mediumStorage failures prevent the game-over screen and replay controlssrc/main.ts:228

The results handler in dist/assets/index-C8rzq6X2.js:24, function at(), reads and writes localStorage before showing the results overlay. Either a SecurityError from disabled storage or a QuotaExceededError from a full store aborts the handler. Loading and playing still work because the rounds loader catches storage errors, but after winning or losing the player gets no results, SHARE ON X, PLAY AGAIN, or mode-switch controls.

The animation loop has already marked the game ended and does not retry. This is an availability defect, not a hosting blocker.

Serve dist/ and open its index page.

In browser DevTools run: Storage.prototype.setItem = function () { throw new DOMException("quota full", "QuotaExceededError"); }; Click PLAY DAILY SIEGE, select 3x speed and build no towers; let the enemies reduce WHEEL to zero.

Expected: WHEEL JAMMED and the replay buttons still appear even if the score cannot be saved.

Actual: an uncaught QuotaExceededError occurs and the overlay stays hidden, leaving the finished board without replay controls.

Independently reproduced by executing the exported bundle with both throwing getItem (SecurityError) and throwing setItem (QuotaExceededError); normal storage shows the results and replay controls.

    • mediumNew settlements change the daily challenge under the same score keysrc/game.ts:197

The daily setup in dist/assets/index-C8rzq6X2.js:34 uses Ue() (defined on line 1) to select waves by the day hash modulo the current number of loaded settlements. Adding one real settlement changes the selected window and, because the first transaction also seeds newGame(), the map. Players loading at different times on the same UTC day therefore play different challenges, while bestKey() stores their scores under the same daily label.

This contradicts the daily challenge behavior described in README.md. It is a game-consistency advisory, not a hosting blocker.

      With Node 24, run from the repository root: node --input-type=module -e 'import {SNAPSHOT} from "./src/snapshot.ts"; import {pickWindow,hashStr,newGame} from "./src/game.ts"; const label="daily-4", seed=hashStr(label); for (const pool of [SNAPSHOT.slice(0,-1),SNAPSHOT]) { const rounds=pickWindow(pool,seed); console.log(label,pool.length,rounds.map(r=>r.round),newGame(rounds,label).path); }'.

These inputs are the same real history immediately before and after the snapshot's final settlement is added.

Expected: one fixed wave window and map for daily-4.

Actual: the 35-round pool selects rounds 338–352, while the 36-round pool selects 342–356, with different maps.

      Both use squeek-siege:best:daily-4.

The same results were reproduced with the functions in the exported bundle.

    • lowRight-click cancel purchases a tower before cancelling placementsrc/main.ts:90

The canvas pointerdown listener in dist/assets/index-C8rzq6X2.js:1 handles every mouse button as a build action. A right click therefore builds and spends seeds before the contextmenu listener clears placement, despite the intro advertising right-click cancel. Cancelling a 50-seed tower at a valid cell spends 50 seeds; selling it only returns 35.

This is a control defect, not a hosting blocker.

Open dist/index.html through a static server, click PLAY DAILY SIEGE, then select Seed Spitter (or press 1) with the initial 170 seeds.

      Right-click an empty buildable cell.

Expected: placement is cancelled, seeds remain 170 and no tower is built.

Actual: a tower is placed and seeds fall to 120, then placement is cancelled.

In the exported-bundle test on daily-4, the top-left cell (column 0, row 0) reproduced this with pointerdown button=2 followed by contextmenu.

    • lowSharing from an IPFS path discards the game addresssrc/main.ts:234

The SHARE ON X URL in dist/assets/index-C8rzq6X2.js:24 uses location.origin, discarding the page path. On a path-based IPFS gateway, the /ipfs// or /ipns// path identifies the game. Shared links consequently open the gateway root instead of Squeek Siege.

The same defect affects ordinary subdirectory hosting. This is a broken-link advisory, not a hosting blocker.

Serve dist/ at http://localhost:8080/ipfs/test-siege/ (the directory name is sufficient for a local reproduction), open that URL, click PLAY DAILY SIEGE and let the game finish without building towers.

Inspect the SHARE ON X anchor and decode its url query parameter.

      Expected: http://localhost:8080/ipfs/test-siege/.

      Actual: http://localhost:8080.

Executing the exported results handler at https://gateway.example/ipfs/bafy-review-cid/ likewise produced url=https://gateway.example.

    • lowHTTP errors are displayed as a resting hamster at block zerosrc/data.ts:68

The status loader in dist/assets/index-C8rzq6X2.js:1, function Oe(), parses JSON without checking res.ok and returns ok:true even when the response is an error object. pollLive() then shows Squeektoshi is resting · block 0 instead of its existing unavailable message. This presents an API outage as a valid live measurement. It is a misleading-status advisory, not a hosting blocker.

Open the game, then run this in browser DevTools: const originalFetch = window.fetch.bind(window); window.fetch = (input, init) => String(input).endsWith("/v1/status") ?

      Promise.resolve(new Response(JSON.stringify({error:"database_unavailable"}), {status:503,headers:{"Content-Type":"application/json"}})) : originalFetch(input, init); Wait for the next 15-second status poll.

      Expected: wheel status unavailable.

Actual: Squeektoshi is resting · block 0.

The exported loader returned {ok:true,active:false,rpm:0,work:0,blockHeight:0} for this exact HTTP 503 response.
