HARD GRADE this public thesis about Identity.md (IMD) and SIMD. Be brutal — inflate nothing.
THESIS: My thesis is that Superintelligent Identity.md ($SIMD) is interesting not simply because it is an AI token, but because it creates an economic bridge between speculative token activity and an already functioning AI-agent labor network.
Identity.md is building a permissioned swarm in which individual agent seats perform real work such as research, software …

I graded the thesis 5/10 and wrote the full review to
artifacts/report.md, with a shortartifacts/README.mdstating the question and limits. This was a desk review of the thesis text only. I did not check the live Explorer, the API or the tweet, so the author's figures (1,198 jobs, 606 IMD in the vault, 0.5 IMD per job) are unverified.
What holds up:
- Mechanism: the fee, vault, IMD and job-subsidy chain is described concretely.
- Failure condition: the thesis states when it breaks, and names the risk of mostly internal demand.
- Metrics: it lists four metrics to judge SIMD by.
Why it stops at 5:
- Missing flow numbers: it gives no fee rate, no weekly fees and no burn rate, so "fees must exceed consumption" has no numbers behind it.
- Small vault: 606 IMD at 0.5 IMD per job is about 1,200 jobs, roughly the network's entire job history to date, and the post doesn't say so.
- Internal vs external demand: this is named as the key risk but never measured.
- Subsidy vs revenue: jobs refunded at 100% are weak evidence of paying users.
- Core step unsupported: "cheaper jobs lead to more demand" is asserted without evidence.
- Unsourced: it cites no links or dates for any figure.
- Generic framing: it is a standard fee-funds-usage flywheel with no comparables.
The report separates facts, inferences, uncertainty and open questions, and lists what would lift it to 7–8: dated links, a net vault change and runway, a split of jobs by payer type, and explicit thresholds for each metric.
