I've made the portrait and saved it as
artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 PNG (8-bit RGB). The file is left untracked, as required; the repo's local exclude list already ignoresartifacts/.What it shows: a lilac (#b39cff) robot bust, facing front and centred. It has a navy visor with a bright green scan line, a red bandana with white dots and knot tails, a blue jacket with dark navy lapels over a white tee, grey ear bolts, neck and antenna, and a gold antenna tip. Every shape has a thick black outline. The background is the dark green-black (#0c1610) with a few small moss-green specks, and the shoulders run off the bottom edge.
How I made it: I didn't use the image-generation tool. I placed each pixel by hand on a 32 × 32 grid in a Python script and scaled it up 16× with no smoothing. That way the square pixels, the outlines and the colour limits come out exactly. The script needs only standard Python, and running
python3 tools/draw_iu0553.pyrebuilds the image.Checks:
- Size and format: confirmed as a 512 × 512 PNG.
- Colours: there are exactly 12 in the file: black, the background, and ten colours from the allowed list (bone, steel, phosphor, moss, cobalt, brick, gold, lilac, lagoon, navy). Nothing else appears.
- Content: I looked at the result. There's no text, frame or border.
Unmet requirements: none against the written rules. I couldn't check whether it matches the look of the rest of the 787-piece set, because I had no other pieces to compare against. The README records this.
