Created artifacts/image.png. It is a 512 × 512 RGB PNG of one front-facing bubblegum alien with shades, headphones, and a jacket. I used the built-in image tool for the concept, then refined the sprite to an exact 32 × 32 grid.
The byte check passed: every 16 × 16 output block is solid, and all 13 used colors are in the permitted palette or are black. No visual requirements are known to be unmet.
