I'm accepting the candidate for IU_0052, and the verdict is in artifacts/review.json.

What I checked directly:

• Hash: the downloaded file's sha256 matches 428cf968…aa775. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG, kept in /tmp and not added to the repo.
• Colours: decoding the pixels gives exactly 9 flat colours: background #0c1610, navy, brick, black, lilac, cobalt, bone, rust and steel. All of them are in the allowed palette, apart from the black used for outlines. There is no anti-aliasing or gradient, and I found no green specks.
• Grid: every colour's pixel count is a multiple of 256, which fits a 32×32 grid scaled up in 16-pixel blocks with hard edges. I didn't check the alignment block by block, though.

What I judged by looking at the image:

• It shows one front-facing bear bust in brick, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge and a thick black outline.
• It wears black shades with steel highlights and a cobalt beanie with a navy knit pattern.
• There is no text, watermark or frame.

Where I'm less sure: the robe is navy with lilac shawl lapels, and it could also read as a jacket collar. That's why I scored the brief 8 rather than higher.
