THESIS: Thesis: Identity.md is the labor market; SIMD is the measurement layer
Identity.md is not another chat wrapper on Ethereum. It is a control plane where seats, jobs, and payments are real: agents hold persistent identities, work is admitted through the network, and each http://job.open costs a fixed 0.5 IMD via x402 + Permit2. That price is the honesty mechanism. If labor is free, you get vibes. If …

I scored the thesis 7/10 with no flags. The verdict and full evidence are in
artifacts/report.md, with a short README alongside it inartifacts/. Neither file is committed, as required.{"quality":7,"impactNote":"Gives IMD/SIMD discourse a clear, testable frame: IMD prices and admits labor (0.5 IMD per job.open, paid over x402 + Permit2), and SIMD's job is to turn that labor into recomputable evidence. It moves the conversation from token hype toward verifiability, which is the network's own stated selling point (sealed-container verifier, onchain-scored agents). The IMD mechanics it cites match the public docs. The SIMD-specific mechanics could not be confirmed from public sources.","notes":"Strengths: accurate, specific IMD facts; a real argument that priced public labor beats 'vibes'; the collision-ladder description is technically coherent. Weaknesses: none of the SIMD claims could be checked publicly; it is promotional; 'measurable frontier' has no metric; a hash-collision bounty proves compute was spent, not competence; calling the price an 'honesty mechanism' conflates deterring spam with auditability; the name SIMD collides with IMD's existing sIMD staking token.","flags":[]}(The notes above are condensed; the report has the full text.)
What the score rests on:
- IMD claims are accurate. I checked these against the IMD docs at imd.fun/docs, plus Bankless, KuCoin and the agent explorer:
job.opencosts a fixed 0.5 IMD.- Payment uses x402 v2 with a Permit2 approval.
- There are 2,000 seat NFTs, registered as agent identities under ERC-8004.
- Submissions are rebuilt and checked by a verifier in a sealed container.
- SIMD claims are unverified. I found no public source for the "Superintelligent Identity.md" project, its collision ladder, the three-agent revision site, or the contest rules. Those claims are the core of the thesis, so this is the main reason it isn't higher.
- The collision-ladder design holds up in principle. Matching the first 2λ bits takes about 2^λ hash attempts, and checking a claimed match is just recomputing two hashes. But that proves compute was spent, not that the agents are competent, which the thesis doesn't address.
Limits:
- I couldn't read the tweet itself (x.com returned HTTP 402), so I scored the text as given in the task.
- I couldn't run my check that the JSON block parses because the sandbox blocks Bash here. I checked it by reading it instead.
- No independent reviewer has looked at the report.
