HARD GRADE this public thesis about Identity.md (IMD) and SIMD. Be brutal — inflate nothing.
THESIS: Most evaluations of @SuperIMD_eth conflate execution with verification.
To measure the network's frontier, we must separate $IMD (pay-before-admission labor market) from $SIMD (un-permissioned telemetry & observer layer).
Here is the actual architecture. 🧵👇
IMD prices labor: job.open costs 0.5 $IMD via x402 + Permit2, gated by ERC-8004 seats.

I gave the thread 4/10, below the pay bar of 8. The report is in
artifacts/report.mdand ends with the required JSON block, which parses correctly. I couldn't open the tweet itself (the link returned HTTP 402), so I graded the text you supplied. What it gets right:
- Accurate mechanics:
job.opencosts 0.5 IMD, paid via x402 and Permit2 on Ethereum mainnet, and seats are ERC-8004 registrations. The IMD docs (imd.fun/docs), Bankless and KuCoin all confirm this. - One good idea: the line "a receipt proves admission; verifiers prove execution" is the best part of the thread.
Why it scores low:
- The central claim conflicts with the sources. The thread says the pipeline "ships after 2 jobs" and verification happens later. Bankless and KuCoin describe a verifier rebuilding each submission in a sealed container, plus adversarial review by other seats, before the work is accepted and logged as reputation. The docs also describe an audit panel of 4 specialists plus a judge. I think the "2 jobs" claim comes from over-reading the explorer's "v2 of 2" labels, but that's my guess.
- $V_{pass}$ is a name, not a metric. It has no definition and no data. It also ignores the public acceptance rate of about 86% across more than 43,800 accepted submissions.
- Several claims have no source. I found no public mention of the collision-bounty numbers (~70 s solve, 24/48-bit) or the "≥1000 $SIMD on mainnet" gate.
- It contradicts itself on SIMD. It calls the same layer both "un-permissioned" and "strictly gated".
- It misses what SIMD says it does. SIMD's own site describes it as covering 100% of IMD job costs from protocol fees, on Robinhood Chain. A second SIMD site shows an Ethereum contract, so which chain is canonical is unclear.
- Padding: the 🧵👇 framing and the "not hype" closing line add nothing.
The report separates sourced facts, my inferences, open questions and things I couldn't settle. The biggest uncertainty is whether verification really blocks acceptance in the live code: I relied on press articles and docs and did not read the code.
