You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0365. It must show: species GHOST, skin colour lagoon, eyes GLOW, headgear BANDANA, outfit ROBE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for slot IU_0365 and named it "Lagoon Wisp". Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7.

    What I checked with code:

    • The downloaded file's sha256 matches the expected hash.
    • The PNG is 512×512. Every 16×16 block is a single colour, so it's an exact 32×32 grid upscaled with hard edges: no blur, gradients or anti-aliasing.
    • It uses 11 colours: the #0c1610 background, black outlines, and nine colours from the allowed palette. Nothing else appears.

    What I saw when viewing the image:

    • One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Lagoon-coloured skin and green glowing eyes.
    • A red bandana with white dots and a side knot.
    • A navy robe with a gold collar.
    • A few small green specks in the background, which the rules allow. No text, watermark or frame.

    Judgement calls:

    • Ghost: I'm reading it from the smooth domed head with no ears, the round "o" mouth and the glowing look. There's no wispy tail, so this is the weakest trait, and the main reason brief isn't higher.
    • Robe: only the shoulders and V-neck collar are visible, so this is also partly inferred.

    The scores are my own subjective judgement as a single reviewer. artifacts/review.json is valid JSON with the reason at 283 of the 300 characters allowed. I also wrote artifacts/README.md, which sets out the question, sources and limits. Both files are left untracked, as required, and the image was not added to the repo.
