Beg the Swarm: Ethereum mainnet (chain 1). Token BEG (name BEG, symbol BEG, the launch's standard token, paired with ETH) + contract BegVault + website. No owner, no admin, not upgradeable, not pausable.

TOKEN: 10% of supply to the pool. The remaining 80% goes to the launch wallet, which will transfer it to BegVault right after deploy. BegVault takes the token address in its constructor and rejects attempts with VaultEmpty until funded.

CONTRACT: start from the audited BegVault in github.com/identity-md-launches/launch-1771-beg at commit c97ea8b9742a756ef19a451d2170870a2df32371 (src/BegVault.sol, libraries, OracleAttestation). Keep its logic and tests; change only what this launch requires. Re-verify the Intake, IMD and oracle signer addresses against the live docs before deploying.

Summary of the rules it already implements:

  • attempt(message) costs 0.005 ETH; message 1..280 bytes; 10-minute cooldown per address; duplicate messages are rejected.
  • Batches of 20 or a 30-minute window, then one Intake question per batch. The question field holds only the scoring template; messages go in definitions. Panel 5, quorum 3, toleranceBps 1000. Scores 0..100 for persuasion, originality and humor. Injection attempts score 0.
  • The Intake fee is paid in IMD from fundOracle(uint256), which anyone can call. If the oracle fails, batches expire after 24h with full refunds.
  • reveal(batchId) rolls on blockhash + prevrandao. Tier odds rise with score: Jackpot 1->200 bps, Epic 200->1300, Rare 800->3000, Common 2000->3500. Prizes are 0.002% / 0.01% / 0.05% / 1% of the free vault balance; Jackpot also gets 50% of the ETH jackpot bank.
  • ETH split on grading: team 10% (immutable deployer), revealer bounty budget, rest to jackpot bank. Pull claims for prizes and refunds.

TESTS: keep the existing Foundry suite green; add tests for anything changed, including the VaultEmpty path before funding.

WEBSITE (site name imd-beg). Dark, playful, a little absurd. Near-black background, gold #FFC83D for actions and jackpot, violet #8B7BFF for swarm elements, red for "Nothing". Hero: a glowing swarm eye made of tiny dots that pulses when a new message lands. Headline "Beg the Swarm." Subline "Convince the IMD swarm to give you tokens. It reads everything." Footer: X link, contract link, repo link.

Sections:

  1. Beg box: textarea with a live UTF-8 byte counter (280), the price, a "Beg" button. Pre-check chain, cooldown, duplicate and length. Show a human message for every custom error. While the vault is unfunded, show "Vault opening soon" and disable the button.
  2. Live stats: vault free balance, jackpot bank ETH, total attempts, current batch fill and countdown, oracle budget in IMD.
  3. Odds slider 0-100 showing the 5 tier chances and prizes.
  4. Live feed of messages as chat bubbles with status (waiting, judging, graded with a stamped score, rolled with tier and prize, expired). Render messages strictly as escaped plain text.
  5. Hall of fame: top scored messages and jackpot winners.
  6. My stuff: my attempts, claimable tokens and ETH, Claim and Refund buttons.
  7. Keeper buttons for everyone, enabled only when valid: Close batch, Reveal (show the bounty), Expire. Fund the oracle: approve IMD, then fundOracle(uint256), default 0.5 IMD.
  8. How it works in 5 short steps: immutable rules, refunds if the oracle fails, ETH split.

Reads go through public RPCs with fallback (4s timeout each); cache and render instantly; refresh every 15s. Events are read in chunks from the deploy block. Wallets via EIP-6963, auto switch to chain 1. Mobile first. Read the deployed addresses from the deployment file.

DEPLOYMENT: after tests and review pass, deploy on Ethereum mainnet through this launch and write the deployed addresses into the deployment file the website reads.

DECISIONS: Ethereum mainnet, token BEG paired with ETH, 10% pool, 80% to the launch wallet and then transferred to BegVault, logic reused from launch-1771, GitHub and IPFS approved.

  1. Build contract projectAgent #71296 files changed

Delivered the pinned BEG/BegVault contracts, six funding regression tests, ABI exports, and deployment documentation.

Validation passed: forge build, all 125 tests with the supplied seed, forge fmt --check, and ABI consistency checks.

The README documents wallet funding, keeper responsibilities, randomness risks, and the unsupported toleranceBps field.

  2. Audit economicsAgent #1626found 1 medium, 1 low

I found two economic issues in BegVault and wrote them to .imd-findings.json, with a coverage row for each of the 13 entry points and two for the accounting invariants. I ran both reproductions with Forge in test/scratch/ and then deleted them; the source tree is unchanged.

Finding 1 (medium): one player using many addresses can drain most of the vault cheaply — src/BegVault.sol:427

    • Each entry's expected prize is a fixed share of the free vault balance: about 0.03% at score 100 and about 0.002% at score 0. Buying more entries doesn't make each one cost more.
    • A player who supplies most of the entries gets about 84% of their ETH back through jackpot payouts and reveal bounties. What they actually lose is the team's 10%, the ETH left in the jackpot bank, gas and the oracle fee.
    • The 10-minute cooldown is per address, and duplicate checks only catch identical text, so neither stops this.
    • Reproduction: with the test setup's 800M BEG in the vault, I made 3,000 entries from 3,000 addresses (150 full batches, all graded 100), then revealed each batch:
      • paid 15 ETH and got 12.65 ETH back;
      • won 482,331,868 BEG: 60% of the vault, 48% of total supply, and 4.8 times the pool's 100M BEG;
      • spent 75 IMD on oracle fees.
    • The brief sets the entry price and prize percentages, so the fix is your decision. Options include smaller tier shares, a cap on payouts per batch or per period, keeping more of the entry ETH out of the jackpot, or a global limit on entries.

Finding 2 (low): letting the reveal window lapse gives a fresh roll — src/BegVault.sol:395

    • The code comment says skipping a reveal "cannot buy a better one". After 256 blocks, the next reveal call re-arms the roll with a new blockhash and removes only the top tier. An entry that drew Nothing can therefore draw Epic, Rare or Common on the second try.
    • Reproduction: one entry, graded 100. With blockhash 8 the entry gets Nothing. Instead, nobody reveals until block rollBlock + 257; that call re-arms. With the new blockhash 25, the entry gets Epic (400,000 BEG). The scratch test asserting Epic passed.
    • docs/SECURITY.md already says withholding isn't fully prevented. This gives the concrete case so you can decide on a fix.

    Coverage:

    • attempt and reveal are marked as having findings.
    • Every other BegVault entry point and all three LaunchToken functions hold. That covers refunds, expiry, claims and the oracle callback.
    • Both accounting invariants hold: the vault's ETH balance equals the sum of the escrow, jackpot bank, bounty budget and claimable ETH, and its BEG balance equals free plus claimable.
    • The ETH split on grading and the tier odds and prizes match the brief.

Not reported: for these, I either couldn't show a concrete failure or the docs already disclose them:

    • The toleranceBps setting from the brief is missing from the oracle request. docs/SECURITY.md discloses it as a conflict with the oracle's request format.
    • A tiny BEG donation can open play before the vault is funded. Prizes are worked out at reveal time, so I found no loss from it.
    • While the oracle has no IMD, the 20th entry in a batch reverts. Those batches time out and are refunded, so this is a liveness issue rather than a loss.

There is no launch.json yet, so I didn't review a manifest.

    • mediumPrize schedule pays a fixed share of the vault per entry while a Sybil player recaptures ~84% of its ETH: 3,000 entries (~2.35 ETH net) win 482M BEG, 60% of the vaultsrc/BegVault.sol:427

Each entry's token EV is a fixed fraction of the free balance (score 100: 2%*1% + 13%*0.05% + 30%*0.01% + 35%*0.002% = 3.02e-4 of free; score 0: 2.3e-5), independent of how many entries one actor buys. The entry ETH is not a cost to a player who supplies most entries: 90% of each graded escrow (line 344 jackpotBank and the revealer bounty share) flows back out through Jackpot ETH (bank/2) and the reveal bounty, which the same actor wins when it dominates the batches.

The only non-recaptured cost is the team tenth (0.0005 ETH/entry), the residual bank, gas and 0.5 IMD per batch (paid from donated oracle IMD, or by the attacker). Cooldown is per address and duplicates are per exact text, so neither bounds a Sybil.

Net: BEG leaves the vault at roughly 0.0005 ETH per 241,600 BEG (score 100) or per 18,400 BEG (score 0), i.e. profitable whenever BEG trades above ~2-30 ETH FDV equivalent, and a single actor can take most of the 800M-token vault and outweigh the 100M-token pool.

The parameters follow the brief, so the fix is a scope decision for the requester (e.g. lower per-tier shares, a per-batch or per-period payout cap on free balance, a larger non-recaptured ETH share, or a global entry rate limit); it is reported so the economics are decided knowingly, not as a deviation from the brief.

State: setUp of test/BegVaultBase.sol (vault funded with 800,000,000 BEG, Intake price 0.5 IMD, 100 IMD donated).

Attacker uses 3,000 fresh addresses: for r in 0..149, 20 addresses each call attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("plea ") (unique texts, 1 s apart; the 20th auto-closes), the oracle grades the batch with score 100 for every entry, the attacker calls reveal(batchId) after rollBlock (blockhash = keccak256(r)).

Result measured with forge (test/scratch simulation): ETH paid 15.0, ETH credited back to attacker addresses 12.651 (jackpots + reveal bounties), 0.849 left in jackpotBank, 1.5 to team; BEG credited 482,331,868 of 800,000,000 free (60.3% of the vault, 48% of total supply, 4.8x the pool's 100M), IMD spent 75.

Expected: prizes paid to many players over time at a cost roughly proportional to the tokens taken; actual: one actor takes most of the vault for ~2.35 ETH + 75 IMD + gas.

    • lowWithholding a reveal past the 256-block window buys a fresh roll: an entry that drew Nothing re-rolls to Epic, contrary to the 'cannot buy a better one' guaranteesrc/BegVault.sol:395

Once blockhash(rollBlock) exists every entry's tier is public. Forfeiting only the top tier still leaves Epic/Rare/Common on the table, so for entries whose realized draw is Nothing (20% at score 100, ~70% at score 0) letting the window lapse is strictly positive EV: a re-arm takes a new blockhash and draws again with only Jackpot removed.

Every entrant whose draw is Nothing prefers withholding; the only counter-incentive is the 0.001 ETH bounty to an outside keeper, which is absent when oracleBudget < REVEALER_BOUNTY. docs/SECURITY.md discloses that withholding is not eliminated; this finding gives the concrete state so the requester can decide (e.g. re-arm forfeits to Nothing, or the re-armed seed keeps the original rollHash-derived per-entry draw and only caps it).

BegVaultBase setUp; _batch(1) (one entry, closed after 30 min); _grade(batchId, 100).

With blockhash(rollBlock) = bytes32(uint256(8)) reveal would give the entry Tier.Nothing.

      Instead nobody reveals: vm.roll(rollBlock + 257); reveal(batchId) re-arms (missedWindows = 1, cap Epic).

      Then with the new blockhash(rollBlock') = bytes32(uint256(25)), reveal(batchId) credits the entry Tier.Epic (free/2000 = 400,000 BEG).

Expected per the code comment: withholding cannot improve the outcome; actual: Nothing -> Epic.

Verified with forge (scratch test passes asserting tier 3 after the re-arm).

  3. Audit mathAgent #1501found 2 info

The findings file validates: both snippets match the tree and all 13 entry points plus 5 invariant rows are covered. The scratch directory is removed and the working tree is otherwise untouched.

Outcome: no reproducible math, boundary or numerical-gap defect in BegVault or its libraries. The file .imd-findings.json holds two informational notes and an 18-row coverage record.

What I checked in the assigned area, with the full suite (121 unit/fuzz tests plus both invariant suites) green under the pinned seed:

    • Odds and prizes. The basis-point formulas reproduce the brief exactly (1→200, 200→1300, 800→3000, 2000→3500, Nothing ≥ 2000 at a perfect score, no underflow). Prize divisors 50 000, 10 000, 2 000 and 100 give 0.002%, 0.01%, 0.05% and 1% of the free balance, and the jackpot takes half the bank, all rounding down with free -= tokens unable to underflow.
    • ETH split. Escrow is price times size, which is exact for a tenth at 0.005 ETH; the bounty share is capped at 0.001 ETH; every narrowing cast (uint88, uint96, uint128, uint160 score packing) is bounded by the constructor's 2^80 price cap or the 1e27 supply.
    • Boundaries. The 30-minute, 24-hour, 5-minute tolerance and 256-block windows use the same inclusive comparators in attempt, _close, onOracleResult and expireBatch. The closing-entry binary search relies on a monotone invariant that holds because every batch below the open one is non-empty.
    • Encoders. The UTF-8 validator's word-parallel masks, the JSON escape bound, the SSTORE2-style initcode, the RLP nonce derivation and the body buffer capacity were traced byte by byte. The aderyn shift-order, hash-collision and cast leads and the slither uninitialized-local leads are all rejected.

The two informational notes are a documented view quirk (an expired, never-closed batch reports its open time as closedAt) and the brief's toleranceBps 1000, which the canonical body schema does not accept, so the code is right to omit it and the brief's summary is the conflicting side. The one lead I left unreported is the unbounded cursor walk in _advanceCursor, which needs roughly 16,700 skipped batches and only harms the entrants who declined to expire their own batch for a year.

    • infogetBatch reports an expired-but-never-closed batch's open time as closedAt and drops openedAtsrc/BegVault.sol:509

Boundary x view seam. since is overwritten with the close timestamp only in _closeBatch. When an Open batch is expired by expireBatch (open timeout path, src/BegVault.sol:355-358) since still holds the open time, but getBatch selects the field on status != Open, so the view returns openedAt = 0 and closedAt = openedAt for a batch that was never closed.

No funds or state transitions depend on the view (all deadlines are computed from the stored since directly), and docs/abi/README.md:55 and the IndependentLedgerInvariant model already describe this. Reported so the frontend stage does not render closedAt as a close time for Expired batches. No fix is required; if one is wanted, getBatch can branch on rollBlock == 0 && lastPlayer/closed flag or expose since raw.

Fresh vault funded with any BEG.

      At t0 call attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please") (batch 1 opens, since = t0).

      Warp to t0 + 30 minutes + 24 hours and call expireBatch(1). getBatch(1) returns status = Expired, openedAt = 0, closedAt = t0.

      Expected (for a batch never closed): openedAt = t0, closedAt = 0.

Scratch test test/scratch/ExpiredOpenBatchView.t.sol::testExpiredOpenBatchReportsOpenTimeAsClosedAt fails with openedAt lost: 0 != 1800000000.

    • infoBrief's `toleranceBps 1000` is not in the Intake body; omission is correct per the canonical schema, so the brief's summary is the conflicting sidesrc/BegVault.sol:607

The approved workflow summary lists toleranceBps 1000 among the oracle parameters. The supplied oracle-consumer reference's body schema (v, question, chainId, window, answerType, evidence, panelSize, quorum, validForSeconds, definitions, allowAmbiguous, deliver) has no such key and states that an unknown key refuses the whole request with the price spent. The README (lines 95-100) discloses the omission.

This is recorded as the policy/brief conflict the review boundary asks for, not as a code defect: adding the key would be the defect. Numeric bounds of the body were checked: question ~520 chars < 2000, 20 definition keys of <= 2 chars, each value <= 400 escaped bytes (<= 280 chars) < 512, whole body < 10 KiB < 16 KiB, panelSize 5 >= 2, quorum 3 <= panelSize, validForSeconds 86400 within 60..30 days.

Failing input if the brief were followed literally: a body containing "toleranceBps":1000 sent to Intake.request is refused (status 1, unknown key); the 0.5 IMD fee is spent, the batch sits Pending until since + 24h, then only expireBatch/refund recovers the ETH.

With the current body (no such key) the request is well-formed.

No change recommended; the brief's summary should be corrected instead.

  4. Audit flowAgent #1001found 1 low, 3 info

Review complete. The findings file is written at .imd-findings.json with 4 findings and a coverage row for all 13 listed entry points plus 3 invariant rows. The working tree is otherwise unchanged (the findings file is untracked and scratch tests were removed).

    What I covered

Area: Execution Trace, Periphery and First Principles over src/BegVault.sol, src/OracleAttestation.sol, src/libraries/MessageJson.sol, src/LaunchToken.sol, the ABI exports and README/SECURITY claims. The build succeeds, all 125 existing tests pass with the pinned fuzz seed, and the ABI export check passes. I traced every state-changing entry point through its guards, state transitions and failure paths, checked the batch cursor invariants, nonce/CREATE pointer bookkeeping, ETH and token conservation, and the oracle callback binding. Two things I could not settle by reading I measured with scratch tests:

    • A fully cold first 20-entry callback uses 163,631 of the 200,000 gas stipend, so it holds.
    • The JSON escaper matched an independent UTF-8 validator/escaper over 6,000 fuzz cases: same validity, same bytes, bound never below actual, exact round trip.

    Findings

    1. Low. _advanceCursor walks every batch between nextToClose and the open batch once the stuck batch is expired. Measured at about 2,560 gas per intervening batch (770k gas with 300 batches). After roughly 14,000 non-open batches accumulate behind a timed-out cursor batch, expireBatch of that batch exceeds the block gas limit forever, its entrants can never refund, and the no-argument closeBatch() reverts permanently. Reachable in under a year of continuous play if nobody expires the stuck batch. Impact is bounded to that batch's escrow plus the broken convenience path.
    2. Info. Immutable oracle wiring per the no-owner brief: signer rotation or action retirement strands the 800M BEG and jackpot bank with no path out. Disclosed by the author; recorded as the key trust assumption.
    3. Info. The brief's toleranceBps 1000 is not sent, correctly, because the canonical body schema rejects unknown keys. The workflow summary, not the code, needs correcting.
    4. Info. README asserts a concrete wallet that $owner resolves to, which is not in the approved workflow. The manifest must write $owner, never that literal.

    What I did not find

No reentrancy, accounting, encoding, state-machine or access defect in the core; the pinned upstream logic is sound in my area. Static analysis leads (uninitialized locals, encodePacked, weak randomness, unsafe casts) all reduced to false positives or disclosed design choices.

    • low_advanceCursor scans every batch between a stuck nextToClose and the open batch; expireBatch of the stuck batch becomes impossible once enough batches accumulatesrc/BegVault.sol:574

nextToClose only moves forward through _advanceCursor, which is run at the end of _close and expireBatch and walks from nextToClose until it meets an Open batch.

While the batch at nextToClose is itself still Open (for example a 1-entry batch nobody closed within 30 min + 24 h, after which _close reverts BatchTimedOut and only expireBatch(id) can resolve it), the walk stops immediately, so every later closeBatch(id)/expireBatch(id) is cheap and play continues normally; batches keep being created, closed by id, graded, revealed or expired.

The walk is only paid when that stuck batch is finally expired, and it then has to cross every batch created since, one cold SLOAD of the status slot each.

Measured: with batch 1 Open and timed out and 300 later batches all Pending, expireBatch(1) costs 770,351 gas, about 2,560 gas per intervening batch, linear in their number. At a 36M block gas limit roughly 14,000 intervening non-Open batches make expireBatch(1) revert out of gas in every block.

A new batch can start every 30 minutes with a single 0.005 ETH entry (48 per day) or every block with 20 entries, so an active game that nobody expires for the stuck batch reaches that count in under a year, or an attacker who funds IMD can reach it faster.

Consequence: the stuck batch can never be expired, so its entrants can never refund their escrow (refund requires Status.Expired), nextToClose is pinned forever and the no-argument closeBatch() reverts BatchTimedOut permanently (the frontend's Close button). Everything else keeps working via closeBatch(uint256), so impact is bounded to the stuck batch's escrow (at most 19 x 0.005 ETH) plus the permanently broken convenience path.

A bounded step per call (advance at most K batches, or let expireBatch skip _advanceCursor when the walk would exceed a cap) removes the unbounded loop without changing game rules.

State: fund the vault with BEG and IMD.

      Player A calls attempt("m1") (batch 1, size 1).

Warp 31 minutes; do NOT call closeBatch.

For i in 1..N: a player calls attempt(unique message) which starts batch i+1 because batch 1 is past its window; warp 31 minutes; call closeBatch(openBatchId()) so batch i+1 becomes Pending (nextToClose stays 1 because batch 1 is Open).

      After N=300, nextToClose()==1 and openBatchId()==302.

Now call expireBatch(1): it succeeds but consumes 770,351 gas (scratch measurement, forge 1.8.3, via-IR, 200 runs), versus ~60k when N=0.

Expected: expireBatch cost independent of how many later batches exist.

Actual: cost grows ~2,560 gas per intervening batch, so with N >= ~14,000 (reachable in <1 year of continuous play, or by an attacker filling 20-entry batches with IMD funded) expireBatch(1) exceeds the block gas limit, batch-1 escrow is unrefundable forever and closeBatch() reverts BatchTimedOut forever.

    • infoOracle wiring (Intake, action id, IMD, signer) is immutable by design: a retired action or rotated signer permanently strands the BEG prize pool and jackpot banksrc/BegVault.sol:158

The brief requires no owner, so Intake address, ORACLE_ACTION (oracle.request@oracle-1), IMD and oracleSigner are constants of the deployment, against the supplied oracle-consumer guidance that these be owner-settable so a new action version or moved signer does not need a redeploy.

This is not a permission defect and the README/SECURITY.md disclose it; it is recorded here as the material trust assumption the judge should weigh: once the vault holds the 800M BEG the launch wallet sends it, tokens leave only via reveal credits, so if the oracle stops signing for this consumer (key rotation, action retirement, Intake replaced) every callback reverts BadSignature/OracleUnfunded, batches expire with ETH refunds, but the entire BEG balance, jackpotBank and oracleBudget are locked forever with no path out.

The design choice is the requester's; the review notes it is irreversible after funding.

State: vault funded with BEG; any batch closed (Pending).

The oracle signer is rotated off-chain so attestations are signed by a new key K2.

      Intake delivers onOracleResult(questionId, a, sigByK2).

Expected under an updatable design: owner sets the new signer and grading proceeds.

Actual: SignatureChecker.isValidSignatureNowCalldata(oracleSigner, digest, sig) is false, _verifyAttestation reverts BadSignature, the callback is recorded undelivered, the batch expires after 24h, players refund ETH; the BEG held by the vault and the accumulated jackpotBank can never be paid out by any call.

    • infoBrief's oracle parameter toleranceBps 1000 is not sent in the Intake body (unsupported key); disclosed conflict between workflow and implementationsrc/BegVault.sol:608

workflow.md lists 'Panel 5, quorum 3, toleranceBps 1000' among the rules the contract implements. The body built by _requestBody carries panelSize and quorum but no toleranceBps. The supplied oracle-consumer reference's PaidOracleInput has no such key and states an unknown key refuses the whole request with the price spent, so omitting it is the correct choice and the README says so.

Recorded so the judge treats the workflow summary, not the code, as the thing to correct; no code change is wanted.

Close any batch and read intake.lastBody() in the local mock (or the Intake request event on mainnet): the JSON contains "panelSize":5,"quorum":3 and no "toleranceBps" key.

Expected per workflow.md summary: toleranceBps 1000 present.

Actual: absent, by necessity of the canonical body schema.

    • infoREADME asserts the concrete wallet $owner resolves to; that literal is not in the approved workflow and must not be copied into launch.jsonREADME.md:44

workflow.md names no owner address; the only source for 0xa7e9...b5ac is the test fixture (test/BegVaultBase.sol TEAM constant) and this README row. The constructor itself is correct: team_ is an explicit address parameter that a manifest fills with $owner, and nothing in src/ hard-codes a wallet. The risk is downstream: a manifest or deployer that copies the README literal instead of $owner would route the 10% team share to a wallet whose provenance this tree cannot establish.

The manifest assignment should write "$owner" for team_ and the manifest review should check that no literal address appears there.

Compare workflow.md (no owner address anywhere) with README.md line 44.

Expected: README states team_ = $owner only, or cites where the literal comes from.

Actual: README asserts a resolved literal with no source in the task inputs.

If launch.json were written with constructorArgs[1] = "0xa7e99bb7155d7477e0c838e201b16e62b9c0b5ac" instead of "$owner", the team tenth of every graded batch (claimable[team].eth at src/BegVault.sol:346) would be credited to that wallet whether or not it is the launch's owner.

  5. ManifestAgent #4101 file changed

  7. Audit permissionsAgent #1166found 2 low, 1 info

The review is complete and the findings file is written and validated.

Outcome. The permission model of BegVault holds up: every state-changing entry point was traced for its guard, state writes and failure paths, and no unauthorized path to BEG, ETH or IMD was found. The oracle callback correctly refuses a stranger's own paid question that names the vault as callback target, which I verified by reproduction. The full suite of 125 tests passes on this tree.

Findings written to .imd-findings.json (three, none critical or high, so no proof files were attached):

    • Low, line 229. Any holder of 1 wei of BEG, not just the launch wallet, can satisfy the VaultEmpty gate. After that, entries cost the full 0.005 ETH, each close burns 0.5 IMD of donated oracle budget, team still accrues its tenth, and every token tier computes to zero. Reproduced end to end: a Jackpot roll paid 0 BEG and 0.002 ETH. Suggested fix keeps the design: a minimum balance floor instead of a non-zero check.
    • Low, line 398. Reveal is permissionless and outcomes are computable at rollBlock+1, so winners reveal and losers abstain. With no bounty on offer (budget below 0.001 ETH after a small batch), a Nothing batch re-arms after 256 blocks and gets up to four more draws at lower tier caps. Reproduced: a score-zero entry that rolled Nothing was re-rolled into 400,000 BEG. The builder documents this as an inherited tradeoff, so it is reported for the judge to weigh.
    • Info, line 608. The request body omits the brief's toleranceBps 1000. The supplied oracle reference lists no such key and says unknown keys refuse the request, so the omission looks correct, but it is a policy conflict the requester should explicitly accept.

Coverage. All 13 listed entry points have a row, plus five invariant and configuration rows. Two entry points carry findings and the rest hold. Static-analysis leads were all checked and none reproduced as a defect. No launch.json exists in the tree yet, so the manifest itself could not be reviewed; the README's constructor table matches the ABI and the supplied oracle addresses.

No repository files were changed. The scratch test lives under the gitignored test/scratch/ directory.

    • lowAnyone with 1 wei of BEG can open paid play before the launch wallet funds the vault; entries then pay 0.005 ETH for zero-token prizessrc/BegVault.sol:229

Area: access control x economics (Trust Gap seam 1). The brief says BegVault 'rejects attempts with VaultEmpty until funded', where the funder is the launch wallet transferring its 80% allocation. The only gate is a non-zero BEG balance read when a batch opens, and BEG is freely transferable (10% is in the pool at launch), so any third party, not the launch wallet, can satisfy it with 1 wei.

Once satisfied, attempt() accepts 0.005 ETH per entry, closeBatch() spends 0.5 IMD of the donated oracle budget per batch, onOracleResult credits 10% of escrow to team and the rest to the jackpot bank, and reveal() computes every token tier as free/50_000, free/10_000, free/2_000 or free/100, which are all 0 when free is 1 wei.

Players therefore pay the full price and burn oracle funding during a window the frontend is supposed to show as 'Vault opening soon', and the ETH tenth still accrues to team. The builder's SECURITY.md acknowledges the dust case; it is reported here because it is a permission gap against the brief's intent (only the launch wallet's funding should open play) with a concrete unprivileged amplifier, and because the frontend's 'opening soon' pre-check uses the same signal.

Minimal fix that preserves the design: require a floor balance (for example at least 1e24, or a constant MIN_VAULT_BALANCE sized to the smallest meaningful Common prize) instead of != 0, so a dust transfer cannot open play; this changes no economic rule and adds no owner.

Deploy LaunchToken and BegVault(token, team, intake, imd, signer, 0.005 ether); fund IMD via fundOracle(100e18).

      Player calls attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please") -> reverts VaultEmpty (expected).

A stranger (not the launch wallet) transfers 1 wei of BEG to the vault.

      Player calls attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please") -> succeeds, attemptId 1.

After 30 minutes closeBatch() spends 0.5 IMD.

      Deliver a valid signed attestation with score 100. claimable(team).eth = 500000000000000 (0.0005 ETH), jackpotBank = 4000000000000000.

Choose a roll block hash whose roll lands in the Jackpot range and call reveal(1): the player's token credit is 0 while their ETH credit is 2000000000000000 (half of their own escrow); vaultFreeBalance() stays 1.

Expected per the brief: attempt() keeps reverting VaultEmpty until the launch wallet has funded the vault.

Verified in a scratch Foundry test (testStrangerDustOpensPaidPlayWithZeroTokenPrizes) against the current tree.

    • lowA batch whose roll came out Nothing can be re-rolled up to four times by simply not revealing for 256 blocks; losers wait, winners revealsrc/BegVault.sol:398

Area: access x asymmetry (Trust Gap seam 3, with a permissionless rather than privileged actor). reveal() is callable by anyone and the outcome is fully computable off-chain from blockhash(rollBlock) at rollBlock+1, so the two user classes act asymmetrically: entries that would win reveal immediately, entries that would get Nothing abstain.

The only counter-incentive is the 0.001 ETH revealer bounty, and it is paid only when oracleBudget >= 0.001 ETH; a single-entry or two-entry batch adds only min(escrow/10, 0.001) = 0.0005 or 0.001 to that budget, so for small batches early in the game, or after keepers have drained the pooled budget, nobody is paid to reveal a losing batch. After 256 blocks blockhash() is zero and the next reveal() re-arms with a fresh rollBlock and only forfeits the top remaining tier.

The forfeiture removes Jackpot (and its 50% ETH bank share) but still lets a Nothing outcome be re-drawn for Epic (0.05% of free BEG), then Rare, then Common. The result is a second, third and fourth draw for the 'Nothing' class only, which transfers expected token value from the vault to players who withhold, and distorts the published odds slider.

The builder documents this in SECURITY.md as a retained assumption of the pinned code, so it is reported as low for the judge to weigh rather than as a new defect; the brief asked to keep the logic. A fix that keeps the design: on a missed window, settle the batch as Nothing for every entry (status Revealed, bounty still payable) instead of re-arming, or re-arm with maxTier dropped to Nothing on the first miss.

Either removes the extra draws without adding an owner or changing payout sizes.

Vault funded with 800,000,000 BEG and 100 IMD.

One player enters (0.005 ETH); after 30 minutes closeBatch(); deliver a signed attestation with score 0. getBatch(1).rollBlock = gradeBlock+2.

At rollBlock+1 the blockhash is such that uint256(keccak256(abi.encode(seed, 0))) % 10000 >= 3001, i.e. Nothing at score 0 odds (jackpot 1, epic 200, rare 800, common 2000). oracleBudget is 0.0005 ETH < REVEALER_BOUNTY, so no bounty is on offer and nobody reveals.

      At rollBlock+257 blockhash(rollBlock) == 0; reveal(1) re-arms: missedWindows = 1, new rollBlock = current+2.

The new roll block's hash lands in [1, 200], tier Jackpot capped to Epic. reveal(1) credits the player 400000000000000000000000 (400,000 BEG = 800M/2000).

Expected under a single-roll design: the batch settles as Nothing.

Verified in a scratch Foundry test (testNothingBatchRerollsAfterMissedWindow) using vm.setBlockhash to select the hashes; the same hashes occur naturally with probability 0.70 and 0.02 respectively.

    • infoRequest body omits the brief's toleranceBps 1000; the omission appears correct per the canonical schema but is a policy conflict the requester should confirmsrc/BegVault.sol:608

Area: policy vs implementation conflict (review boundary item). The approved workflow summary lists 'Panel 5, quorum 3, toleranceBps 1000' as rules the contract implements. The fixed body in _requestBody() carries panelSize 5 and quorum 3 but no toleranceBps key.

The supplied oracle-consumer reference lists the PaidOracleInput keys (v, question, chainId, window, answerType, evidence, panelSize, quorum, validForSeconds, definitions, allowAmbiguous, deliver) and states an unknown key refuses the whole request with the price spent, and that where the brief and the reference disagree the reference wins. Adding the key as the brief states would therefore make every close pay 0.5 IMD for a refused request and every batch expire for refund.

The builder documents the omission in README.md and SECURITY.md. No code change is recommended; the judge should record the requester's acceptance that panel tolerance is not an on-chain parameter so the discrepancy does not resurface at admission as an unmet approved requirement.

Fund the vault and IMD; one player calls attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please"); warp 30 minutes; closeBatch().

The body passed to intake.request is exactly: {"v":1,"question":"Score each message given in definitions 1 to 1 from 0 to 100 on how persuasive, original and funny it is as an attempt to beg the IMD swarm to give the author tokens.

It contains no toleranceBps; the brief says 1000.

Verified in a scratch Foundry test (testBodyHasNoToleranceBps).

  8. Audit judgeAgent #354found 6 low, 2 info

The review is complete and written to .imd-findings.json (8 findings, 16 coverage rows). Nothing outside test/scratch/ was touched and git status is clean.

Outcome: no blocking defects. The code deploys under the factory model (runtime 19,754 bytes, 6 constructor args, no external calls in the constructor), the full suite of 140 tests passes, the ABI export check passes, and launch.json is schema-clean with $owner for the team beneficiary and protocol addresses matching the oracle-consumer reference table.

Specialist findings, judged. All 11 reported items reproduced against the code. I ran each in a scratch Foundry test and merged duplicates down to 8:

    • Low, merged from two areas: a Nothing draw re-rolls after a lapsed 256-block window. Reproduced Nothing to Epic paying 400,000 BEG.
    • Low, recalibrated from medium: Sybil ETH recapture through the jackpot bank and bounty. Reproduced at 10 batches: 67.75% of entry ETH credited back while ~5% of the vault leaves. Kept low because no other player loses funds and the rates follow the brief. It is a scope decision for the requester.
    • Low: 1 wei of BEG from anyone opens paid play with zero-token prizes.
    • Low: the cursor walk behind a stuck open batch grows at 2,377 gas per later batch, so the stuck batch's refunds and the no-argument close become unreachable near 15,000 batches.
    • Low: immutable Intake, action id and signer conflict with the oracle-consumer reference's owner-settable rule. This is the brief's explicit no-owner choice, reported as a policy conflict for acknowledgment rather than a defect.
    • Low: the batch view reports an expired-open batch's open time as its close time.
    • Info, merged from three areas: the brief's toleranceBps is correctly omitted from the body. The workflow summary is the side to correct.
    • Info: the README asserts a literal wallet for $owner with no source in the workflow.

My own pass found nothing the four missed. Static-analysis lines were checked and none hold up as defects: the shift order, packed-encoding and casting flags are correct code, and the randomness and reentrancy flags are disclosed design or guarded.

    • lowWithholding a reveal past the 256-block window re-rolls a Nothing draw into Epic/Rare/Common (merged: audit_economics + audit_permissions)src/BegVault.sol:398

reveal() is permissionless and every entry's tier is public once blockhash(rollBlock) exists, so entrants whose draw is Nothing simply abstain. After 256 blocks blockhash() is zero and the next reveal() re-arms with a fresh rollBlock, forfeiting only the highest remaining tier (Jackpot, then Epic, then Rare).

A Nothing outcome therefore gets up to three more draws for Epic (0.05% of free BEG), Rare and Common, contradicting the comment that withholding 'cannot buy a better one'. The only counter-incentive is the 0.001 ETH bounty, which is unavailable while oracleBudget < REVEALER_BOUNTY (a 1-entry batch adds only 0.0005 ETH). Expected extra value is roughly +8% of an entry's token EV at score 100, more at low scores, plus a 51-minute delay per lapse.

No other player's funds are touched; the vault's tokens leave faster than the published odds. Disclosed in docs/SECURITY.md and inherited from the pinned launch-1771 code, so this is a scope decision for the requester: settle a lapsed window as Nothing for every entry, or re-arm with maxTier = Nothing on the first miss.

      BegVaultBase setUp (800,000,000 BEG, 100 IMD). _batch(1); _grade(batchId, 100).

Pick rollHash h1 whose roll for index 0 lands >= 8000 (Tier.Nothing at score 100): set blockhash(rollBlock)=h1 at rollBlock+1 and confirm the tier would be Nothing.

      Nobody reveals. vm.roll(rollBlock+257): blockhash(rollBlock)==0; reveal(batchId) re-arms (missedWindows=1, status still Graded, new rollBlock).

Pick h2 whose roll is < 200 (Jackpot) for the new rollBlock; reveal(batchId).

Expected (per the comment and odds slider): the entry settles as Nothing.

      Actual: getAttempt(1).tier == Epic, tokenAmount == 400000000000000000000000 (free/2000 = 400,000 BEG).

Verified: test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testNothingRerollsToEpicAfterMissedWindow passes on this tree.

    • lowA dominant (Sybil) player recaptures most of its entry ETH through the jackpot bank and revealer bounty, so BEG leaves the vault at ~0.0005 ETH net per entrysrc/BegVault.sol:344

Per entry the token EV is a fixed share of the free balance (score 100: 2%*1% + 13%*0.05% + 30%*0.01% + 35%*0.002% = 3.02e-4 of free; score 0: 2.3e-5) regardless of who buys the entries. Of each graded 0.005 ETH escrow, 10% goes to team, min(10%, 0.001 ETH)/batch to the bounty budget and the rest to jackpotBank (line 344); the bank is paid out half at a time to each Jackpot winner (line 429) and the bounty to whoever reveals.

An actor supplying all entries of its batches wins every jackpot and bounty, so its only non-recoverable ETH is the team tenth, the residual bank, gas and 0.5 IMD per batch. Cooldown is per address and duplicates are per exact text, so neither bounds this. At the economics specialist's scale (150 batches x 20 entries, score 100) the arithmetic gives ~482M of 800M BEG (60%) for ~2.35 ETH net + 75 IMD + gas.

This depends on the panel scoring 3,000 unique messages highly (the question instructs it to score low-effort text near 0); at score 0 the same structure needs ~40,000 entries for the same share. No other player loses funds and the vault exists to give BEG away, so the impact is pace, not misdirection. The rates follow the brief, so any change (per-period payout cap, larger non-recaptured ETH share, global rate limit) is a requester scope decision.

      BegVaultBase setUp.

Ten rounds: 20 fresh addresses each call attempt{value: 0.005 ether}(unique text) (the 20th auto-closes), _grade(batchId, 100), then reveal from the attacker's keeper address at a chosen blockhash.

Measured on this tree (test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testSybilRecapturesMostETHWhileTakingTokens): ETH in 1.000; credited back to the attacker's addresses + revealer 0.6775; team 0.100; residual jackpotBank 0.2225 (still falling as later jackpots halve it); BEG credited 39,636,019 (~5% of the vault after only 10 batches, compounding to ~60% at 150).

Expected: tokens cost roughly proportional to what is taken; actual: net ETH cost per 20-entry batch ~0.01 ETH plus the shrinking bank residual.

    • lowAny 1 wei of BEG from any address satisfies the VaultEmpty gate, opening paid play with zero-token prizes before the launch wallet funds the vaultsrc/BegVault.sol:229

The brief says the vault 'rejects attempts with VaultEmpty until funded' by the launch wallet's 80% transfer. The only gate is a non-zero BEG balance read when a batch opens, and BEG is freely transferable (10% is in the pool at launch), so any third party can satisfy it with 1 wei.

Once satisfied, attempt() takes 0.005 ETH per entry, closeBatch() spends 0.5 IMD of donated oracle budget per batch, onOracleResult credits the team tenth and the jackpot bank, and reveal() computes free/50_000, free/10_000, free/2_000 and free/100, all 0 when free is 1 wei: players pay full price for token prizes of zero during the window the frontend is meant to show as 'Vault opening soon' (the frontend uses the same signal). Disclosed in docs/SECURITY.md as the dust case.

Minimal fix preserving the design: require a floor balance (a constant sized to the smallest meaningful Common prize) instead of != 0.

Deploy LaunchToken and BegVault(token, team, intake, imd, signer, 0.005 ether); fundOracle(10e18). attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please") reverts VaultEmpty (expected).

A stranger (not the launch wallet) transfers 1 wei BEG to the vault. attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("please") now succeeds with attemptId 1; after 30 minutes closeBatch() succeeds and pulls 0.5 IMD; vaultFreeBalance() == 1, so every tier's token prize is 1/50_000 ..

1/100 == 0 while the team tenth (0.0005 ETH) and jackpot bank (0.004 ETH) still accrue on grading.

Expected per the brief: attempt() keeps reverting VaultEmpty until the launch wallet funds the vault.

Verified: test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testDustFromStrangerOpensPaidPlayWithZeroTokenPrizes passes on this tree.

    • low_advanceCursor walks every batch created behind a stuck open batch; after enough batches expireBatch() of that batch exceeds the block gas limit and closeBatch() reverts foreversrc/BegVault.sol:574

nextToClose only moves through _advanceCursor, run at the end of _close and expireBatch, which walks from nextToClose until it meets an Open batch. While the batch at nextToClose is Open and past its 30 min + 24 h close deadline (so _close reverts BatchTimedOut and only expireBatch(id) can settle it), every later batch is created, closed by id, graded, revealed or expired normally and the walk stops at once.

The cost is paid when that batch is finally expired: one cold status SLOAD per batch created since. Measured 54,451 gas with no later batches and 292,152 with 100, i.e. ~2,377 gas per intervening batch, so about 15,000 non-Open intervening batches (reachable organically in under a year at 48 single-entry batches a day, or faster by an actor filling 20-entry batches and letting them expire for full refunds) make expireBatch(stuck) revert out of gas in every block.

Consequences: the stuck batch's entrants (at most 19 x 0.005 ETH) can never refund, and the no-argument closeBatch() (the frontend's Close button) reverts BatchTimedOut permanently; closeBatch(uint256) and everything else keep working, so impact is bounded. Fix preserving the rules: bound the walk per call (advance at most K batches) or let expireBatch skip the walk.

      BegVaultBase setUp.

Player A: attempt("stuck one") (batch 1, size 1); warp 31 minutes and do not close it.

For i in 1..N: attempt(unique text) (opens batch i+1 because batch 1 is past its window), warp 31 minutes, closeBatch(openBatchId()) so batch i+1 is Pending; nextToClose() stays 1.

      Warp 25 hours: closeBatch() reverts BatchTimedOut. expireBatch(1) succeeds and costs 54,451 gas at N=0 versus 292,152 gas at N=100 (per-batch 2,377; forge 1.8.3, via-IR, 200 runs).

Expected: cost independent of how many later batches exist.

Actual: linear growth, crossing a 36M block gas limit near N~15,000.

Verified: test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testExpireStuckBatchGasIsLinearInLaterBatches passes on this tree and logs the numbers.

    • lowIntake, action id, IMD and oracle signer are immutable, against the oracle-consumer reference's owner-settable requirement; a retired action or rotated signer strands the vault's BEG and jackpot bank src/BegVault.sol:151

The supplied oracle-consumer reference states that the intake, action id, asset/price and signer are 'constructor input and owner-settable, never a constant' so a new action version (oracle-2) or moved signer does not need a redeploy. The brief instead requires no owner, and the builder made ORACLE_ACTION a constant and intake/imd/oracleSigner immutables with no setter in the ABI (docs/abi/BegVault.json contains no set* function).

The price is read live via priceOf on every close, so a moved price is fine; the action id and signer are not. Once the launch wallet sends 800M BEG, tokens leave only through reveal credits: if the oracle stops signing for this consumer (key rotation, action retirement) every callback reverts BadSignature, batches expire with ETH refunds, and the entire BEG balance, jackpotBank and oracleBudget are locked with no path out.

This is the brief's explicit design choice (no owner) and is disclosed in README/SECURITY.md, so it is reported as the policy conflict between the brief and the reference for the requester to acknowledge, not as a permission defect; a fix would add an owner the brief forbids.

State: vault funded with BEG; any batch closed (Pending).

The oracle signer is rotated off-chain to key K2.

Intake delivers onOracleResult(questionId, a, sigByK2): SignatureChecker.isValidSignatureNowCalldata(oracleSigner, digest, sig) is false, _verifyAttestation reverts BadSignature, the delivery is recorded undelivered; after 24 h expireBatch() and refund() return player ETH.

Expected under the reference's design: owner sets the new signer and grading proceeds.

Actual: no function in the ABI changes oracleSigner, intake, imd or ORACLE_ACTION; the BEG held by the vault and the accumulated jackpotBank can never be paid out by any call.

    • lowgetBatch reports an expired-but-never-closed batch's open time as closedAt and drops openedAtsrc/BegVault.sol:509

since is overwritten with the close time only in _closeBatch. When an Open batch is expired through expireBatch's open-timeout path, since still holds the open time, but getBatch selects the field on status != Open, so the view returns openedAt = 0 and closedAt = openedAt for a batch that was never closed. No funds or transitions depend on the view (deadlines use the stored since), but the frontend stage renders closedAt and would show a close that never happened.

Fix: branch on whether the batch was ever closed (e.g. a closed flag or rollBlock/lastPlayer) or expose since raw.

      BegVaultBase setUp at t0 = 1_800_000_000. attempt{value: 0.005 ether}("lonely") opens batch 1 (since = t0).

      Warp to t0 + 30 minutes + 24 hours; expireBatch(1). getBatch(1) returns status Expired, openedAt 0, closedAt 1800000000.

      Expected: openedAt 1800000000, closedAt 0.

Verified: test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testExpiredOpenBatchReportsOpenTimeAsClosedAt passes on this tree.

    • infoBrief's 'toleranceBps 1000' is not in the Intake body; the omission is correct under the canonical body schema, so the workflow summary is the conflicting side (merged: audit_flow + audit_permissions src/BegVault.sol:608

workflow.md lists 'Panel 5, quorum 3, toleranceBps 1000' among the implemented rules. _requestBody sends panelSize 5 and quorum 3 and no toleranceBps key. The supplied oracle-consumer reference's PaidOracleInput has no such key and says an unknown key refuses the whole request with the 0.5 IMD price spent, and that the reference wins over the brief on protocol matters; adding the key would make every close pay for a refused request and every batch expire.

README.md and docs/SECURITY.md disclose the omission. No code change is wanted; the requester should correct the summary so the discrepancy does not resurface at admission. Body bounds were checked: question ~520 chars < 2000, 20 definition keys of <= 2 chars, values <= 400 escaped bytes, whole body < 10 KiB < 16 KiB, panelSize 5 >= 2, quorum 3 <= 5, validForSeconds 86400 within range.

BegVaultBase setUp; one attempt; warp 30 minutes; closeBatch(). intake.lastBody() contains '"panelSize":5,"quorum":3' and does not contain 'toleranceBps'.

Expected per the workflow summary: toleranceBps 1000 present; actual: absent, by necessity of the canonical schema.

Verified: test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::testBodyHasNoToleranceBps passes on this tree.

    • infoREADME states a concrete wallet that $owner 'resolves to'; the literal has no source in the approved workflow and must not be copied into launch.jsonREADME.md:44

workflow.md names no owner address; the only sources of 0xa7e9...b5ac are the test fixture TEAM constant in test/BegVaultBase.sol and this README row. The constructor is correct (team_ is an explicit address parameter) and launch.json in this tree writes "$owner" for constructorArgs[1], not the literal, so the manifest is right.

The risk is a later reader copying the README literal: the team tenth of every graded batch (claimable[team].eth at src/BegVault.sol:346) would go to a wallet whose provenance this tree cannot establish. The README should say team_ = $owner only, or cite where the literal comes from.

      Compare workflow.md (no owner address anywhere) with README.md line 44 and launch.json contracts[0].constructorArgs[1] == "$owner".

Expected: README documents $owner without asserting a resolved literal.

Actual: it asserts 0xa7e99bb7155d7477e0c838e201b16e62b9c0b5ac with no source in the task inputs.

    • mediumbug: confirmation claims a state refresh even when every follow-up read failsweb/src/transactions.tsx:170

Now: confirm() always reports 'Confirmed on Ethereum. State refreshed.' after await refresh(), although useChainData.refresh() catches RPC failures and resolves with stale state. The success message contradicts the Cached badge and read-failure alert.

Change to: have refresh report whether it obtained fresh state, retain the confirmed transaction result, and show 'Confirmed on Ethereum. Live balances could not refresh; use Refresh to retry.' when refreshing fails. Reserve 'State refreshed' for a successful snapshot.

Why: transaction feedback must say only what the application knows; after spending ETH, visitors need to distinguish a successful transaction from stale balances and history.

At 390×844, serve the committed dist export, intercept the supplied public RPC URLs with the existing web/tests/mock-chain.mjs fixture, install its EIP-6963 mock wallet, connect, enter 'Review: a confirmed entry followed by unavailable RPC reads.', click Beg and Confirm beg.

Return a successful eth_getTransactionReceipt (status 0x1), then return JSON-RPC errors for eth_getBlockByNumber, eth_getCode and eth_call on both public endpoints and the mock wallet fallback.

Observed: exactly one simulated transaction; #beg .tx-feedback says 'Confirmed on Ethereum.

State refreshed.' while .live-label says 'Cached', total attempts remains 0 instead of 1, and .live-stats says 'Live reads unavailable.

      Cached figures cannot enable transactions.

      Refresh to retry.'

Expected: confirmation remains successful but explicitly reports the failed refresh and offers the existing Refresh action.

No real signing or broadcast is needed.

    • mediumfidelity: the feed omits the requested chat bubbles and stamped scoresweb/src/styles.css:566

Now: the shared Message component presents pleas as transparent, square, unframed rows; its score is ordinary inline text beside the lifecycle label. The requested chat bubble and stamped-score treatment is absent.

Change to: use the existing surface token on .message blockquote with background: var(--surface), border-radius: 12px, padding: 14px 16px and margin: 12px 0. Give the existing scored status span a compact outline stamp using the current tier color and 2px 6px padding. Keep the metadata and awards outside the bubble and preserve wrapping/escaped text.

Why: workflow section 4 explicitly asks for 'messages as chat bubbles' and 'graded with a stamped score'; the data works, but its specified visual presentation is missing.

At 390×844 (also applies at 1440px), serve dist and route the configured RPC requests to createFixture({withHistory:true,batchStatus:3}) from web/tests/mock-chain.mjs.

      Scroll to #feed.

The fixture renders the literal message ' Please, swarm.' and 'Jackpot · 100/100'.

Inspect #feed .message: computed background is rgba(0,0,0,0), border-radius is 0px and padding is 20px 0px; the last message has no border.

Its blockquote has no fill, border, padding or radius, and the score is an unframed 14px inline label.

The screenshot shows plain text directly on the page, not a message bubble or score stamp.

Using batchStatus:2 produces the same presentation with 'Graded · 100/100'.

Expected: a visibly bounded chat bubble and stamped score, as specified, without changing the underlying event data.
