You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0227. It must show: species FROG, skin colour swamp, eyes VISOR, headgear ANTENNA, outfit HOODIE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted IU_0227, a frog I named Visor Frog, and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON, the reason is 257 characters (limit 300) and the name is 10 characters (limit 18). Git doesn't list the file at all, so it looks like the repo ignores it. It's not committed.

    What I checked with code:

    • File: I downloaded it to /tmp/iu227/, outside the repo. Its sha256 matches the expected 22f56c53…bd34. It's a 512×512 PNG.
    • Pixel art: every 16×16 block is a single solid colour, so it's an exact 32×32 grid upscaled with hard edges. That rules out blur and anti-aliasing.
    • Colours: there are only 13. The background is #0c1610, there's a black outline, and the other 11 are all from the allowed palette: cobalt, swamp, navy, bone, phosphor, steel, moss, brick, lagoon, bubblegum and tangerine. No gradients and no colours from outside the list.

    What I saw when viewing it:

    • One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • All five traits are there: a swamp-green frog, a phosphor-green visor, an antenna with a red tip, and a cobalt hoodie with drawstrings and a zip.
    • Thick black outlines and a few moss-green specks on the background, which the rules allow.
    • No text, watermark, frame or second character.

    Scores: brief 10, silhouette 9, style 9, originality 7.

    Judgement calls:

    • The scores are my opinion, not measurements.
    • I took the steel stem with a red/tangerine tip to be the antenna.
    • Originality gets a 7 because the design is clean but fairly plain: a smiling frog with a visor.
    • I didn't compare it against the other Units for cohesion with the set, because I don't have access to them.
