Squeek Dome — IMD Job Brief

Goal: one-page, non-custodial Squeek holder + Keeper workbench on Sepolia. Any visitor can crank; an owner can batch-claim and merge. Real transactions only.

Scope: Sepolia only, chain 11155111 / 0xaa36a7, testnet assets have no value. No new contract, staking, or minting (minting paused). Use only exact values below. Reads via https://ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com, so page works before wallet connects. window.ethereum only for connect, chain switch, eth_sendTransaction.

Collection always 0. REWARD_PER_BLOCK Sepolia is 5,600 SQK (6,900 is launch). Block height = cumulativeBlockUnits / 1,000,000,000 (= blockHeight in Core.state()).

Exact functions

SqueekMining: checkpoint() — permissionless, pays Sepolia gas, no reward. Call checkpointStatus() first.

checkpointStatus() returns (bool corePaused, uint64 nextRound, bool roundSettled)

state() returns 13 fields in this order: (uint256 minted, paid, totalWeight, rewardIndex, uint64 closedThroughBlock, lastActivationRound, uint256 weightActivationCursor, weightActivationCount, bool bootstrapped, uint64 processedThroughRound, closedCumulativeWork, uint96 closedCumulativeBlockUnits, uint32 closedWorkPerThousandBlocks). Pending = count - cursor. Query weightActivation only for cursor .. min(count, cursor+32)-1; if cursor==count, query none.

weightActivation(uint256 index) returns (uint64 round, uint192 addedWeight)

position(uint8, uint256) returns (uint64 activeWeight, pendingWeight, uint40 pendingRound, uint48 nextMergeBlock, uint8 level, uint256 lastIndex, accruedScaled). Level 0 = burned/unminted, no revert. pendingRound != 0 = cannot merge. accruedScaled is SQK x 2^128, NOT 18-decimal SQK — use claimable() for unclaimed SQK.

claimable(uint8, uint256[]) returns uint256, 18-decimal SQK claim would pay now. There is NO function called previewClaim. It needs 1-32 IDs, strictly ascending, no duplicates, but does NOT check ownership.

claim(uint8, uint256[]) — owner only, 1-32 IDs, strictly ascending, no duplicates, else InvalidClaim. Fraction stays on lowest ID.

merge(uint8, survivorId, donorId) — owner only, both owned by caller, distinct, same level 1-9 (max 10), pendingRound == 0, nextMergeBlock <= SqueekCore blockHeight. Donor burned permanently. Survivor +1 level, keeps ID/image and both credits.

SqueekCore state() returns 8 fields in this order: (uint64 settledThroughRound, cumulativeWork, uint96 cumulativeBlockUnits, uint64 blockHeight, uint96 blockProgress, uint32 workPerThousandBlocks, uint256 authorizationNonce, bool paused). Use settledThroughRound as frontier, blockHeight for merge checks. Do NOT use a version with workPerThousandBlocks before blockHeight, or genesis/lastSettlement timestamps — not in CoreState.

SqueekNFT: ownerOf(uint256), tokenURI(uint256). NOT ERC721Enumerable: tokenOfOwnerByIndex does NOT exist, never call it. Images: tokenURI -> decode base64 JSON -> render image field (inline SVG) as isolated image, never inject into markup. ownerOf/tokenURI REVERT for burned/unminted IDs — scans must catch reverts and skip, not crash.

IDs and ownership

Load IDs by: (a) user-typed IDs or RPC scan 1..30 via ownerOf, skipping reverts, (b) 1-click "Load Live Sepolia Sample Holder" scanning ownerOf 1..20 until an address owns >=2 live Squeeks, then scanning its IDs, (c) OPTIONAL API api.squeekchain.com/v1/owners/{address}/squeeks — unconfirmed, never depend on it.

STRICT: API is display only. Never take ID, amount, owner or eligibility from API into a transaction. Re-verify every candidate via RPC: ownerOf, position, claimable. Operators CANNOT claim/merge — only direct ownerOf can.

Panels (one top bar, one shared state)

Panel 1 — Keeper Crank (works with 0 Squeeks): show checkpointStatus + Mining state (processedThroughRound, totalWeight, minted, paid, pending count) + up to 32 waiting activations, vs settledThroughRound. Buttons: "Simulate Checkpoint (eth_call)" showing OK or exact decoded revert; "Crank Checkpoint (Send Tx)" only when corePaused==false and roundSettled==true. When roundSettled==false, keep Simulate active and state sending now would revert and waste gas — never present force-send as success. After receipt, link tx hash and re-read status/state. No manual roundSettled toggle — state only from RPC.

Panel 2 — Batch Claimer: connected wallet OR pasted/sample holder in Inspect Mode (Send only if connected wallet owns every selected ID). Table: ID, thumbnail, level, activeWeight, pending round, nextMergeBlock, unclaimed SQK from claimable(0,[id]). Select 1-32, auto-sort ascending, dedupe, reject level 0 / unowned. Show batch claimable(0,sortedIds), highlight lowest ID keeping fraction, simulate, then send claim(0,sortedIds).

Panel 3 — Merge Arena: only eligible pairs (distinct, same level, pendingRound==0 both, nextMergeBlock<=blockHeight both). Side-by-side images, level, activeWeight, combined unclaimed SQK. Swap toggle must instantly re-render BOTH cards, SQK amounts, combined total, and modal IDs; a swap changing only hidden dialog values is a FAIL. "Prepare Merge" opens a blocking modal naming BOTH IDs: "Token #DONOR will be BURNED PERMANENTLY and cannot be restored. Token #SURVIVOR will advance one level, keep its ID/image, and inherit both credits." Only after a confirmation checkbox, simulate, then send merge(0,survivorId,donorId).

Transaction wiring

Check eth_chainId == 0xaa36a7, switch if wrong. Real eth_call to Mining, then eth_sendTransaction with from, to=Mining, data, value 0x0. Wait for receipt, link https://sepolia.etherscan.io/tx/{hash}. No setTimeout fakes. Decode reverts with Mining errors (RoundNotSettled, CorePaused, InvalidClaim, InvalidPosition, InvalidMerge, Unauthorized); if undecodable, fall back to checkpointStatus, never raw hex alone.

Acceptance (all must pass): 1. Real calldata + eth_call + chain check + eth_sendTransaction, no mocks. 2. Unconnected Inspect Mode via public RPC, incl. 1-click sample holder. 3. 0-Squeek wallet can simulate Panel 1 and, when roundSettled, send checkpoint(). 4. Out-of-order claim IDs auto-sort; duplicates/unowned blocked. 5. Merge cannot send without burn modal naming both IDs. 6. Desktop + mobile; at 375px top bar wraps, no truncation/scroll to buttons.

Out of scope: custom contract, staking, minting, prediction markets, games, leaderboards, bots, music, art, simulator-only buttons.
