SqueekBoard: a community companion app for Squeekchain, the hamster-powered testnet on Sepolia. The company does not launch a fungible ERC-20 token.

Contracts (Sepolia): (1) an ERC-721 NFT collection. Token name: Hamster Badge. Token symbol: HBADGE. Total supply: 10,000 max, one free mint per wallet (gas only), nobody can mint beyond the cap. (2) a check-in contract where badge holders record one daily "wheel spin" onchain, storing each wallet's current streak and total check-ins.

Website: a user-facing web app, published and hosted at a public URL. Visitors connect a wallet, mint their badge, press a button for today's spin, see their streak and total check-ins, and browse a public leaderboard of the longest streaks.

Security review: yes, include an independent security review of the two contracts.

Token name: Hamster Badge

Total supply: 10000

Work

  1. Build contract projectAgent #56362 files changed

    The two SqueekBoard contracts are built, tested and documented. forge build, forge test (56 tests, with the verifier's fuzz seed and in isolated mode) and forge fmt --check all pass on solc 0.8.26.

    What was built

    • HamsterBadge (src/HamsterBadge.sol): ERC-721 "Hamster Badge" / HBADGE on OpenZeppelin v5.4.0.
      • Hard cap of 10,000, with token ids 1 to 10,000.
      • mint() is free and allowed once per wallet, ever.
      • There is no owner mint, no burn and no admin.
      • Metadata and the SVG image are generated on-chain.
    • WheelSpinCheckIn (src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol): a badge holder calls spin() once per UTC day.
      • It stores each wallet's current streak, longest streak and total check-ins.
      • It keeps an on-chain leaderboard of the 100 longest streaks, readable in one call.
    • ABI exports: docs/abi/HamsterBadge.json and docs/abi/WheelSpinCheckIn.json.
    • README: behaviour, chosen constants, assumptions, deployment parameters and operational responsibilities.

    Deployment parameters

    OrderContractConstructor arguments
    1HamsterBadgenone
    2WheelSpinCheckInthe badge address ($contract:HamsterBadge)

    Neither contract has an owner, so $owner is not used and nothing needs setting after launch. I did not write launch.json.

    Decisions the brief left open

    • Badges are transferable. Streaks belong to wallets, and the holder check happens at spin time, so one badge passed between wallets lets each of them spin that day.
    • A day is a UTC calendar day. Missing a whole UTC day resets the streak to 1 on the next spin.
    • The leaderboard ranks by best-ever streak. Each row also carries the live current streak; ties are in no guaranteed order.
    • The leaderboard holds 100 wallets (LEADERBOARD_SIZE), my choice.
    • mint() uses _mint rather than _safeMint. The badge always goes to the caller, so minting makes no external call. I silenced the matching forge lint warning in place, along with the timestamp and zero-balance ones; reasons are in the README.
    • A spin has no random outcome and awards nothing. It is a check-in only.

    Checks

    • The tests cover success and failure paths, fuzzed spin schedules and a stateful invariant test against a reference model. Six bugs I seeded on purpose were all caught.
    • The protected deployment test passed locally against the built bytecode. The owners test could not be run because its OwnerChecks.sol was not supplied.
    • Slither and Mythril were not available here, so the six rejecting detectors were designed around rather than run.
    • The independent security review is still to come.

    Dependencies (forge-std v1.9.7 and the OpenZeppelin files this project compiles) are vendored under lib/ as ordinary files. Nothing is committed: I left the work in the working tree because .git/ is off limits.

  2. ManifestAgent #851 file changed

    Created launch.json with HamsterBadge first, followed by WheelSpinCheckIn referencing its address. Constructor arguments match the accepted ABIs.

    Validation passed: forge build and all 56 tests with the supplied fuzz seed. Only launch.json changed.

  3. Audit flowAgent #1161found 3 low

    The review is finished: I found no critical, high or medium defects in the control-flow area, and wrote three low-severity findings plus the coverage record to .imd-findings.json. No tracked file was changed, and the scratch tests were removed.

    Findings (all low)

    1. One account can mint the whole supply (src/HamsterBadge.sol:47). The mint limit is keyed by caller only, so a throwaway contract that mints and forwards its badge is a fresh "wallet" each time. I ran the full drain: 125 calls of 80 badges from one account (about 115,000 gas per badge), ending with 10,000 badges in one wallet and MaxSupplyReached() for everyone else, permanently. This matches the brief as written and the README accepts "many wallets"; any real mitigation is a scope decision for the requester. It is outside my assigned area, reported because the effect cannot be undone.
    2. One badge backs unlimited spins per day (src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107). The holder check is only at the instant of the call, so a smart account can borrow a badge, spin and return it in one transaction. Reproduced: with a single badge in existence, 150 wallets spun on the same day and filled all 100 leaderboard rows while holding no badge. The README accepts badge passing because "a free mint already gives this", which stops being true once the supply is minted out.
    3. canSpin(address(0)) reverts instead of returning false (src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:178). It fails with ERC721InvalidOwner(address(0)), while every other per-wallet read answers for the zero address. A Foundry proof that fails on the current code is attached to this finding.

    Coverage

    All seven listed entry points have a row, plus five extra rows for invariants, views and launch wiring.

    • Execution Trace: spin() and mint() traced by hand through every branch. No stale read, no partial update, and the memory copy written back at the end of spin() never overwrites another wallet's rank change. The three leaderboard placement branches keep the board sorted and duplicate-free.
    • Periphery: the vendored OpenZeppelin files match upstream v5.4.0 apart from formatting. Base64Encoder and tokenURI hold (about 1.26M gas per call), and both docs/abi files equal the compiled ABIs.
    • First Principles: the day boundary, first-spin and rank sentinels, eviction at the board edge and tie handling behave as documented. The existing 56 tests pass.

    Not reached

    • launch.json does not exist yet, so its constructor arguments were not reviewed. The expected wiring is HamsterBadge with no arguments, then WheelSpinCheckIn with $contract:HamsterBadge.
    • The static-analysis lines were checked as leads and none became a finding on its own.
    • I did not verify that the pinned launch policy targets Sepolia, the chain the brief and README name.

    • lowOne account can mint the whole 10,000 supply through throwaway contracts, ending the public mint for goodsrc/HamsterBadge.sol:47

      Outside my assigned area (economics/permissions), reported because the effect is permanent. mint() limits by msg.sender only, and badges are transferable, so the 'one free mint per wallet' rule costs one contract creation to step around: a constructor that calls mint() and transferFrom()s the badge to its deployer is a fresh 'wallet' every time.

      The contract does exactly what the brief states (per-wallet limit, hard cap), and README assumption 3 accepts that one person can use many wallets.

      What the README does not state is the cost and the consequence: measured at about 115,000 gas per badge, the full supply fits in roughly 125 calls from a single account (about 0.95 billion gas in total, free on Sepolia), and because there is no owner, no burn and no way to raise the cap, every later visitor gets MaxSupplyReached forever.

      The website's first step ('mint their badge') then fails for everyone, and spinning is only possible for wallets the hoarder chooses to hand a badge to.

      No fix exists inside the brief as written (an EOA-only check would also block the smart accounts the README wants to support and is bypassed by scripted EOAs); any real mitigation (allowlist or signature gate, a mint window per block, a small fee, an owner-held reserve) is a scope decision for the requester, not a silent code change.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge, totalSupply 0.

      Deploy contract Minion { constructor(HamsterBadge b, address to) { uint256 id = b.mint(); b.transferFrom(address(this), to, id); } } and contract Farmer { function farm(HamsterBadge b, uint256 n) external { for (uint256 i; i < n; ++i) new Minion(b, msg.sender); } }.

      From one account 0xBAD call farmer.farm(badge, 80) 125 times.

      Measured with forge: the first call uses 9,178,727 gas (114,734 per badge), under the 16,777,216 per-transaction gas cap; all 125 calls use about 947 million gas.

      Expected by a reader of 'one free mint per wallet': one account ends with one badge.

      Actual: badge.balanceOf(0xBAD) == 10000, badge.totalSupply() == 10000, and a new wallet 0xA11CE calling mint() reverts with MaxSupplyReached(); canMint(0xA11CE) is false permanently.

    • lowA single badge lets any number of wallets spin on the same day, including wallets that never hold a badge between transactionssrc/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107

      spin() checks only that msg.sender's badge balance is non-zero at the instant of the call, and the daily limit is keyed by wallet, not by badge. A badge can therefore be moved in, used and moved out inside one transaction by a smart account (or an EIP-7702 batch from an EOA), and the same token id can back an unlimited number of spins per UTC day. README decision 2 accepts badge passing on the grounds that it 'gains nothing a free mint does not already give'.

      That reasoning stops holding in two reachable states: (a) once all 10,000 badges are minted, a wallet that could never mint still records spins and streaks, so the number of spinning wallets is not bounded by the supply; (b) a wallet that already used its mint and gave the badge away spins again without ever being a lasting holder. So 'badge holders record one daily spin' holds only in the weakest reading (holder for the duration of one call).

      Nothing of value moves and stored records stay internally consistent, hence low. If the requester wants one spin per badge per day, the minimal change that keeps wallet-keyed streaks is to have spin(uint256 tokenId) require ownerOf(tokenId) == msg.sender and record the day each token id was last used; that changes the spin() signature and the ABI, so it is a scope decision.

      State: day 20398, one badge in existence (token 1, minted by lender 0x1E4D), totalSupply == 1.

      Deploy 150 copies of contract Borrower { function borrowSpinReturn(HamsterBadge b, WheelSpinCheckIn w, address lender, uint256 id) external { b.transferFrom(lender, address(this), id); w.spin(); b.transferFrom(address(this), lender, id); } }.

      For each: lender calls badge.approve(borrower, 1), then borrower.borrowSpinReturn(badge, wheel, lender, 1).

      Expected if one badge meant one daily spin: 1 spin recorded, 149 reverts.

      Actual (run with forge, all in the same UTC day): wheel.totalSpins() == 150, wheel.totalParticipants() == 150, leaderboardLength() == 100 with every row a borrower whose badge.balanceOf is 0, wheel.rankOf(borrower[0]) == 1, and badge.totalSupply() is still 1.

    • lowcanSpin(address(0)) reverts instead of returning falsesrc/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:178

      canSpin is documented as 'Whether a spin by account would succeed right now' and the README lists it among the reads the web app should use. For account == address(0) hasSpunToday is false, so the expression goes on to badge.balanceOf(address(0)), which OpenZeppelin's ERC721 rejects with ERC721InvalidOwner(address(0)). The view therefore reverts where the documented answer is false.

      Every other per-wallet read (statsOf, hasSpunToday, currentStreak, rankOf, HamsterBadge.canMint) answers for the zero address, so a front end that batches these reads with a zero-address placeholder while no wallet is connected gets one failing call (and a failed batch if it uses a non-tolerant multicall). No state is affected.

      Minimal fix: return false when account is address(0) before calling balanceOf, e.g. return account != address(0) && !hasSpunToday(account) && badge.balanceOf(account) != 0;.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge and WheelSpinCheckIn(address(badge)), any timestamp.

      Call wheel.canSpin(0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000).

      Expected: returns false (a spin by the zero address cannot succeed).

      Actual: reverts with ERC721InvalidOwner(0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000). wheel.hasSpunToday(address(0)) and wheel.statsOf(address(0)) in the same state return normally.

      The attached test fails on the current code with exactly that revert.

  4. Audit economicsAgent #1550found 1 medium, 1 low

    The review is written to .imd-findings.json: two findings and a coverage row for each of the seven entry points, with no tracked file changed. Neither finding is a bookkeeping bug; both are economic gaps in the design as built, and both need a requester decision rather than a simple patch.

    Findings

    1. Medium — one script can mint all 10,000 badges for gas only (src/HamsterBadge.sol:47). The per-address flag is the only limit on the shared cap, and throwaway contracts can call mint().

      • Cost: I measured about 107,000 gas per badge, roughly 1.07 billion gas for the whole supply, in 100 transactions of test ETH.
      • Effect: mint() then reverts MaxSupplyReached for everyone, permanently, since there is no burn or owner. If the badges are left in the constructor-only contracts they can never move, so nobody can ever spin.
      • Status in the brief: the "one free mint per wallet" rule is implemented as written, and the README already says one wallet is not one person. What it doesn't state is the cost and that the result is irreversible.
      • Decision for the requester: accept the risk in writing, or change scope (rate limit, signed allowlist, or a nominal price), each of which departs from "free, permissionless".
    2. Low — one badge lets unlimited wallets spin on the same day (src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107). spin() checks only the caller's balance at that moment, so a single badge passed between wallets authorises a spin for each.

      • Reproduced: 100 wallets spun on one day with totalSupply() == 1, filling all 100 leaderboard rows. A single-transaction version cost about 17.1M gas.
      • README claim is wrong in one case: it says the relay "gains nothing a free mint does not already give", which stops being true once the collection is minted out.
      • Fix option: spin(uint256 tokenId) with a per-token last-spin day caps it at one spin per badge per day, but changes the signature the web app calls.

    What held

    • Supply and mint rules: mint() is the only writer of totalSupply and hasMinted, and there is no other mint or burn path.
    • Leaderboard: sorted order, rank-to-row consistency and the top-100 property held in my own fuzz (200 runs, 25 days, 140 wallets, skipped days and evictions) against a reference model. I also traced all three branches of _place by hand.
    • Views against writes: canMint/mint and canSpin/spin agree, and the live streak reads 0 after a missed day in every view.
    • ABI docs: docs/abi/*.json match the compiled ABIs.
    • Existing suite: all 56 tests pass.

    Not reached

    There is no launch.json in the tree yet, so the WheelSpinCheckIn constructor argument could not be checked. A wrong non-zero badge address would make every spin revert permanently, so the manifest review must confirm it is $contract:HamsterBadge.

    Neither finding carries a proof test; both are below high. The scratch tests I used to reproduce them were deleted, so the judge will need to rebuild them from the call sequences in the reproduction fields.

    • mediumOne script can mint all 10,000 badges for gas only, permanently closing mint and check-in to every later visitorsrc/HamsterBadge.sol:47

      Guide: Economic Security (starve shared capacity / cheapest griefing vector). The only limit on the shared 10,000 cap is the per-address flag at line 47, and mint() accepts contract callers (line 57 uses _mint, no receiver check). A fresh address costs one CREATE, so a single actor consumes the whole cap from throwaway contracts.

      Measured on this tree: 107,090 gas per badge when the badge is left in the throwaway contract (1,070,901,700 gas for all 10,000), 114,262 gas per badge when it is forwarded to the attacker's wallet. That is 100 transactions of about 10.7M gas each, paid in Sepolia test ETH from a faucet.

      Afterwards the state is terminal: totalSupply == MAX_SUPPLY, there is no burn, no owner and no second mint path, so mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached for everyone forever and WheelSpinCheckIn.spin() reverts NotBadgeHolder for every wallet the attacker does not hand a badge to. In the variant that leaves each badge in a codeless constructor-only contract, all 10,000 badges are unmovable and nobody can ever spin: both contracts are dead with no redeploy-free remedy.

      In the forwarding variant the attacker becomes the sole gatekeeper of an app that is documented as having no owner. The brief's rule (one free mint per wallet, 10,000 cap) is implemented as written and README assumption 3 states that one wallet is not one person; what is not stated is that the cost of exhausting the cap is about 1.07e9 testnet gas and that the result is irreversible.

      No change inside the agreed design removes this (a tx.origin check only adds 10,000 funding transfers and breaks smart accounts), so it needs a requester decision: accept the risk explicitly, or change scope (for example a mint window/rate limit per day so a mint-out takes weeks and is visible, a signed allowlist from the site, or a nominal mint price). Each of those changes the 'free, permissionless' rule in the brief.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge (totalSupply 0) and WheelSpinCheckIn(badge).

      Input: contract Burner { constructor(HamsterBadge b) { b.mint(); } } and contract Sybil { function burnMany(HamsterBadge b, uint256 n) external { for (uint256 i; i < n; ++i) new Burner(b); } }.

      Call sybil.burnMany(badge, 100) one hundred times.

      Actual: every call succeeds; badge.totalSupply() == 10000; total gas 1,070,901,700 (forge test, solc 0.8.26, optimizer 200).

      Then for any other address H: badge.canMint(H) == false, vm.prank(H); badge.mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached(), wheel.canSpin(H) == false and wheel.spin() from H reverts NotBadgeHolder(H); the 10,000 badges sit in addresses with no code and can never be transferred.

      Forwarding variant: constructor(HamsterBadge b, address to) { b.transferFrom(address(this), to, b.mint()); } gives the attacker balanceOf == 1000 after 10 calls of 100 for 114,262,350 gas.

      Expected for a 10,000-member community badge: one actor cannot take or destroy the entire supply at no real cost, or the requester has accepted that in writing.

    • lowHolder check reads only the balance at spin time: one badge lets unlimited wallets spin on the same day and fill the whole leaderboardsrc/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107

      Guide: Flow Gap, seam periphery x first principles. spin() gates on badge.balanceOf(msg.sender) != 0 at the moment of the call and records nothing about which badge was used, while HamsterBadge is freely transferable. The same token can therefore be moved wallet to wallet (or contract to contract inside one transaction) and authorise a spin for each of them on the same UTC day.

      The brief's statement 'badge holders record one daily wheel spin' and the 10,000 cap as the bound on who can take part are both void: spins per day and totalParticipants are unbounded with a single badge in existence. README assumption 2 documents the relay and argues it 'gains nothing a free mint does not already give'.

      That argument fails in two states: (a) once the collection is minted out (see finding 1) a free mint gives nothing, yet a relay ring still onboards any number of wallets; (b) a ring of constructor-only contracts needs no badge of its own per member, so one badge fills all 100 leaderboard rows in about 17.1M gas and keeps them with 100 spins per day.

      Because a wallet outside a full board enters only with a strictly greater longest streak, an honest wallet that never misses a day but started after the ring (always one behind), or started the same day and spins later in the day than the ring (always tied), never appears on the public leaderboard while the ring keeps spinning. Nothing of monetary value moves, hence low.

      A fix that keeps wallets as the streak owner and badges transferable is to bind the daily allowance to the token as well: spin(uint256 tokenId) requiring badge.ownerOf(tokenId) == msg.sender and lastSpinDayOfToken[tokenId] != today. That caps spins at one per badge per day (at most 10,000) but changes the spin() signature the web app calls, so it is a scope decision; otherwise correct the README claim and accept the risk.

      State: fresh deployment, vm.warp(1_800_000_000), board empty.

      Calls: A calls badge.mint() (token 1) and wheel.spin().

      Then for i = 1..99 with W_0 = A and W_i = address(0x1000 + i): W_{i-1} calls badge.transferFrom(W_{i-1}, W_i, 1); W_i calls wheel.spin().

      All in the same UTC day.

      Actual: all 100 spins succeed; badge.totalSupply() == 1, wheel.totalParticipants() == 100, wheel.totalSpins() == 100, wheel.leaderboardLength() == 100.

      A new wallet H then calls badge.mint() and wheel.spin(): it succeeds with streak 1 but wheel.rankOf(H) == 0.

      Single-transaction form: a contract mints token 1 and loops 100 times: approve the next CREATE address, then new Relay(badge, wheel, 1) whose constructor does badge.transferFrom(msg.sender, address(this), 1); wheel.spin(); badge.transferFrom(address(this), msg.sender, 1); result is the same board state for 17,144,039 gas.

      Expected from 'badge holders record one daily wheel spin': a second wallet using the same badge on the same UTC day is refused, so one badge yields one spin per day.

  5. Audit mathAgent #869found nothing

    The review is complete. The findings file is written and validated, and no source, configuration or vendored file was changed; the only files I created are the findings JSON and two probe tests under test/scratch, which is not kept.

    Result: no defects found in the math area. The findings list is empty and the coverage record answers all seven entry points plus seven invariant and periphery rows, all holds.

    What I checked, against the Math Precision, Boundary and Numerical Gap guides:

    • Day arithmetic. The day number is the timestamp divided by 86400 and cast with SafeCast to 48 bits. The cast only fails at day 2^48, far beyond any realistic chain time. The live-streak window is exact: alive through the day after the last spin, zero from the second day after.
    • Packed counters. Streak and total check-ins are 48-bit and grow by at most one per day, so they cannot overflow. The rank field is 16-bit and never exceeds 100.
    • Leaderboard single-swap argument. I traced all three branches of the placement routine. A longest streak grows by exactly one per spin, so every entry a wallet overtakes holds exactly one less, and one swap keeps the board sorted. An off-board wallet always has a longest streak no greater than the board minimum, because the board never shrinks and the minimum never decreases. Probe tests for a full board of ties, a unique minimum growing, eviction and re-entry after a reset all pass, as does the existing stateful invariant suite.
    • Supply cap. Minting all 10,000 badges in a probe gives id 10000 to the last minter and reverts the next call with MaxSupplyReached. Remaining supply cannot underflow.
    • Base64. The length formula is the correct padded ceiling, and the sextet shifts and masks are right. Lengths 0 through 6 plus edge bytes match RFC 4648 vectors.
    • Static-analysis leads. All were traced and none reproduce. The divide-before-multiply is an intended ceiling, the strict equalities are the intended day and holder semantics, and the flagged "reentrancy" is a view call compiled as STATICCALL.

    Checks outside the strict math area that I also ran: the vendored OpenZeppelin files match upstream v5.4.0 except for formatting, the ABI exports in docs/abi are set-equal to the compiled ABIs, and the README constructor table matches the source. The full project suite of 56 tests passes.

    Two measurements for the judge's reference:

  6. Audit permissionsAgent #134found 1 info

    The permissions review is complete. The findings file is written at .imd-findings.json with one info-level finding and a coverage row for every listed entry point.

    Outcome. No permission bypass, escalation path, unguarded writer, or paired-function asymmetry was found in either contract. Neither contract has an owner, initializer, proxy, or privileged function. The factory and the IMD launch wallet receive no role at deployment, since no constructor reads the caller.

    What I verified

    • Access control. All seven state-changing entry points were traced. The four ERC-721 transfer and approval functions come from OpenZeppelin v5.4.0 unchanged, which I confirmed by fetching upstream and comparing all 14 vendored files. They differ only in line wrapping.
    • Asymmetry. The spin, canSpin, hasSpunToday, statsOf and live-streak paths agree on the same day and badge conditions. The leaderboard swap argument holds, and the rank writes for other wallets cannot be overwritten by the caller's record write. The existing 56 tests, including the stateful invariant test, pass.
    • Trust gap. The ABI exports match the compiler output exactly. The static-analysis leads (strict equality, timestamp, reentrancy after external call, memory array edit) do not reproduce as defects.

    The one finding, severity info. The badge-holder gate is a point-in-time balance check on a transferable token. A scratch test showed one badge authorising 50 wallets' spins in a single transaction, and still acting as a credential after the supply cap. The README documents this as a deliberate design choice, and it does not violate the brief, so it is recorded as a trust assumption rather than a defect.

    Not reached. No launch.json exists yet. The later manifest review must confirm the check-in constructor receives the badge contract reference, because any other nonzero address is accepted and would leave spinning permanently broken with no admin to fix it.

    • infoBadge-holder gate is a point-in-time balance check: one transferable badge authorises any number of wallets' daily spins, including atomically in one transaction (documented design choice, recorded assrc/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107

      The only authorisation in WheelSpinCheckIn is badge.balanceOf(msg.sender) != 0 at the moment of the call. HamsterBadge is a standard transferable ERC-721 (OpenZeppelin v5.4.0, unmodified), so the 'badge holder' role is a bearer credential that moves with transferFrom.

      A smart-account wallet can spin and forward the badge to the next wallet inside the same transaction, so a single badge records a spin for an unbounded number of wallets per UTC day, each gaining a participant record and a leaderboard slot. After the 10,000 cap is reached (when new wallets can no longer mint) a borrowed badge is still a full credential.

      This is not a permission bypass: every spinning wallet does hold a badge at spin time, which is what the brief says ('badge holders record one daily wheel spin'), and README.md 'Assumptions and design decisions' items 1-3 state it explicitly, noting correctly that free per-wallet minting already lets one operator run many wallets, and that a long streak still costs one transaction per wallet per day.

      It is reported at info level so the judge and author have the concrete trace: the gate adds no sybil resistance beyond the free mint, and the on-chain leaderboard's 'longest streaks' can be filled entirely by one operator's rotated wallets. No fix is proposed that changes the agreed design; if the requester wanted the badge to bind the spinner, the options are a non-transferable badge or a per-token (rather than per-wallet) daily lock, both of which are scope decisions.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge + WheelSpinCheckIn(badge), block.timestamp = 20_398 days.

      Deploy 50 instances of a contract wallet W_i with spinAndForward(badge, wheel, id, next) { wheel.spin(); badge.transferFrom(address(this), next, id); }.

      W_0 calls badge.mint() -> tokenId 1 (totalSupply == 1).

      Then, in one transaction per wallet (or all batched by a multicall), call W_i.spinAndForward(badge, wheel, 1, W_{i+1}) for i = 0..49.

      Expected under a 'one badge = one participant per day' reading: 1 participant.

      Actual: wheel.totalParticipants() == 50, wheel.totalSpins() == 50, wheel.leaderboardLength() == 50, each W_i has totalCheckIns == 1 and longestStreak == 1 while badge.totalSupply() == 1.

      After-cap variant: with totalSupply forced to 10_000 (storage slot 6), a new wallet's mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached, but receiving the badge by transferFrom and calling spin() returns 1 and succeeds.

      Verified with test/scratch/BadgeRotation.t.sol (3 passing tests observing this behaviour).

  8. Audit judgeAgent #1836found 3 low

    The review is complete and written to .imd-findings.json. No tracked file was changed; the only new files are the findings JSON and my scratch tests under test/scratch/.

    Outcome: three low findings, all merged from the specialists, nothing new of my own. The code does what the approved brief asks and the build, the 81 existing tests, and my own leaderboard fuzzing all pass.

    Findings kept, each reproduced with a Foundry scratch test:

    1. Sybil mint-out (low, merged from flow and economics). Throwaway constructor-only contracts step around the per-wallet limit. I measured 114,822 gas per badge, so one account can consume the whole 10,000 supply for about 1.07 billion Sepolia gas, after which mint and spin are closed to newcomers forever. The brief's rule is implemented exactly, and the README already states that one wallet is not one person, so I rated this a design-acceptance item rather than the medium the economics specialist gave it. The README should state the cost and irreversibility, and any mitigation changes the brief.

    2. Bearer badge relay (low, merged from flow, economics and permissions). The holder gate is a point-in-time balance check. One badge backed 150 wallets' spins on the same day, filled all 100 leaderboard rows, and still works as a credential after mint-out. The README's claim that this gains nothing over a free mint fails in those two states.

    3. canSpin(address(0)) reverts (low). It should return false but hits OpenZeppelin's ERC721InvalidOwner revert. The flow specialist's proof fails on this tree for exactly that reason, so I attached it.

    Dropped or confirmed as non-issues: every slither and aderyn line (the reentrancy flag is a view call on the immutable badge, the Base64 rounding is intentional and tested, the strict equalities compare day numbers). The vendored OpenZeppelin files match upstream v5.4.0 apart from formatting. The manifest has the right keys, constructor arguments, and dependency order, and correctly omits an owner since neither contract has one. The ABI exports match the compiled ABIs exactly.

    Coverage: all 7 entry points answered (5 hold, mint and spin carry findings 1 and 2), plus 5 invariant rows covering the leaderboard bookkeeping, the manifest, the ABI exports, factory deployability, and the static-analysis leads.

    • lowPer-wallet mint limit is bypassed by throwaway contracts: one account can mint the entire 10,000 supply for gas only, permanently closing mint and check-in to later visitors (merged: audit_flow + audisrc/HamsterBadge.sol:47

      mint() limits by msg.sender only (line 47) and accepts contract callers (line 57 uses _mint, no receiver check), while badges are freely transferable. A constructor-only contract that calls mint() and transferFrom()s the badge to its deployer is a fresh wallet each time, so the shared 10,000 cap is consumable by one actor at about 115,000 gas per badge (about 1.07e9 gas in total, roughly 125 transactions of 80 badges, paid in Sepolia faucet ETH).

      There is no owner, burn, reserve or second mint path, so the end state is irreversible: mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached for every later wallet and WheelSpinCheckIn.spin() reverts NotBadgeHolder for every wallet the hoarder does not hand a badge to; in the variant that leaves badges inside codeless constructor-only contracts they can never move and nobody new can ever spin.

      The code implements the brief as written (one free mint per wallet, hard cap) and README assumption 3 states that one wallet is not one person, so this is a design-acceptance item rather than a logic error: severity low (no funds, behaviour matches the approved rule, same end state as a legitimate sell-out). What the README does not state is the cost of exhausting the cap and that the result is permanent with no remedy short of redeploying both contracts.

      Any mitigation (mint window/rate limit per day, signed allowlist from the site, nominal mint price, EOA-only check) changes the 'free, permissionless, smart-account friendly' rule in the brief and is the requester's scope decision. Both specialists' reproductions were re-run and confirmed; the two reports share this root cause and are merged here.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge (totalSupply 0) and WheelSpinCheckIn(badge).

      Contracts: contract Minion { constructor(HamsterBadge b, address to) { uint256 id = b.mint(); b.transferFrom(address(this), to, id); } } and contract Farmer { function farm(HamsterBadge b, uint256 n) external { for (uint256 i; i < n; ++i) new Minion(b, msg.sender); } }.

      From account 0xBAD call farmer.farm(badge, 80).

      Measured (forge, solc 0.8.26, optimizer 200): 9,185,826 gas, i.e. 114,822 per badge; badge.balanceOf(0xBAD) == 80.

      Repeating until the cap (about 1.07e9 gas in total; the full loop in one forge test hits the default 2^30 gas limit at 9,9xx badges, so the scratch test sets totalSupply to 9,900 via vm.store slot 6 and farms the last 100) gives badge.totalSupply() == 10000.

      Then for a new wallet 0xA11CE: badge.canMint(0xA11CE) == false; vm.prank(0xA11CE); badge.mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached(); wheel.canSpin(0xA11CE) == false; wheel.spin() from 0xA11CE reverts NotBadgeHolder(0xA11CE).

      Expected from 'one free mint per wallet': one account ends with one badge and the collection stays open to others; actual: one account holds all 10,000 and the collection is closed forever.

      Verified in test/scratch/Repro_MintOut.t.sol (passes, observing this behaviour).

    • lowHolder gate is a point-in-time balance check: one transferable badge authorises unlimited wallets' spins per UTC day, including after mint-out, and can fill the whole leaderboard (merged: audit_flow +src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:107

      spin() authorises by badge.balanceOf(msg.sender) != 0 at the instant of the call and records nothing about which badge was used, while the daily limit is keyed by wallet.

      Because HamsterBadge is a standard transferable ERC-721 (vendored OpenZeppelin v5.4.0, verified identical to upstream apart from formatting), the same token id can be moved in, used and moved out inside one transaction by a contract wallet, so one badge backs an unbounded number of spins, participants and leaderboard rows per day. README assumption 2 documents the relay and argues it 'gains nothing a free mint does not already give'.

      That argument fails in two reachable states: (a) once totalSupply == 10,000 a new wallet cannot mint, yet a borrowed badge is still a full credential, so the number of spinning wallets is not bounded by the supply; (b) a ring of throwaway contracts needs no badge per member, so one badge fills all 100 board rows and keeps them growing with 100 spins per day, after which an honest wallet with a shorter or equal longest streak never appears (entry needs a strictly greater streak than the last row).

      Nothing of value moves and stored records stay internally consistent, so severity low. It is a documented design decision; if the requester wants one spin per badge per day the minimal change is spin(uint256 tokenId) requiring badge.ownerOf(tokenId) == msg.sender plus a per-token last-spin-day, which changes the ABI the web app calls, or a non-transferable badge. Otherwise the README claim should be corrected and the risk accepted in writing.

      All three specialists' reproductions were re-run and confirmed; they share this root cause and are merged here.

      State: block.timestamp = 20_398 days, fresh HamsterBadge + WheelSpinCheckIn(badge).

      Lender 0x1E4D calls badge.mint() -> token 1, totalSupply == 1.

      Deploy 150 instances of contract Borrower { function borrowSpinReturn(HamsterBadge b, WheelSpinCheckIn w, address lender, uint256 id) external { b.transferFrom(lender, address(this), id); w.spin(); b.transferFrom(address(this), lender, id); } }; for each, lender calls badge.approve(borrower, 1) then borrower.borrowSpinReturn(badge, wheel, lender, 1), all on the same UTC day.

      Expected if one badge meant one daily spin: 1 spin recorded, 149 reverts.

      Actual (forge): all 150 succeed; wheel.totalSpins() == 150, wheel.totalParticipants() == 150, wheel.leaderboardLength() == 100, wheel.rankOf(borrower[0]) == 1, every borrower's badge.balanceOf == 0 afterwards, badge.totalSupply() still 1.

      An honest wallet 0x40 then mints and spins successfully but wheel.rankOf(0x40) == 0.

      After-cap variant: vm.store(badge, slot 6, 10_000); a newcomer's badge.mint() reverts MaxSupplyReached(), but after badge.transferFrom(lender, newcomer, 1) its wheel.spin() returns 1.

      Verified in test/scratch/Repro_Relay.t.sol (2 tests pass observing this behaviour).

    • lowcanSpin(address(0)) reverts with ERC721InvalidOwner instead of returning falsesrc/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol:178

      canSpin is documented (line 175 and README) as 'Whether a spin by account would succeed right now' and is one of the reads the README tells the web app to use. For account == address(0), hasSpunToday is false so evaluation proceeds to badge.balanceOf(address(0)), which OpenZeppelin v5 ERC721.balanceOf rejects with ERC721InvalidOwner(address(0)). The view therefore reverts where the documented answer is false.

      Every other per-wallet read (statsOf, hasSpunToday, currentStreak, rankOf, HamsterBadge.canMint) answers normally for the zero address, so a front end batching reads with a zero-address placeholder while no wallet is connected gets one failing call (and a failed batch under a non-tolerant multicall). No state is affected.

      Minimal fix: return account != address(0) && !hasSpunToday(account) && badge.balanceOf(account) != 0;. Reproduced by running the audit_flow specialist's proof, which fails on this tree with exactly that revert; it is attached.

      State: fresh HamsterBadge and WheelSpinCheckIn(address(badge)), vm.warp(20_398 days).

      Call wheel.hasSpunToday(address(0)) -> false and wheel.statsOf(address(0)) -> zeros (both return normally).

      Call wheel.canSpin(address(0)).

      Expected: false.

      Actual: revert ERC721InvalidOwner(0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000). forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_canSpin.t.sol fails with [FAIL: ERC721InvalidOwner(0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000)].

    Saved four findings to .imd-findings.json:

    • High — fidelity: required frontend validation evidence is absent.
    • Medium — bug: the mobile wallet picker hides discovered EIP-6963 wallets without window.ethereum.
    • Medium — bug: failed supply and totals reads remain labelled as loading.
    • Medium — bug: both share cards reference missing og.png.

    Each finding includes an exact source citation, proposed change, and reproduction. Website files remain unchanged.

    The grouped requirement review:

    • Met — “SqueekBoard” community app, without a fungible token: header and two-contract deployment configuration.
    • Met — Sepolia ERC-721 named “Hamster Badge,” symbol “HBADGE,” capped at 10,000, with one free mint per wallet: src/HamsterBadge.sol and manifest.
    • Met — badge holders record one daily onchain check-in, storing streak and totals: src/WheelSpinCheckIn.sol.
    • Met — “connect a wallet”: ConnectSheet; the mobile discovery defect is recorded above.
    • Met — “mint their badge”: Mint badge control and useTx.
    • Met — “button for today’s spin”: Spin today control.
    • Met — “see their streak and total check-ins”: Current streak, Longest streak and Check-ins fields.
    • Met — “public leaderboard of the longest streaks”: public contract read and Longest streaks table.
    • After review — GitHub publication, IPFS hosting and public URL: publisher responsibility.
    • After review — independent security review: separate contract-review work.
    • Met — source, package, lockfile and configuration under web/; export under dist/; documentation paths respected.
    • Missing — committed “validation evidence”: no frontend validation report or retained browser evidence.
    • Met — preserve deployed source; no publishing or redeployment: deployed contract source remains unchanged.
    • Met — implementation-derived ABIs from the pinned commit, with verified hashes: both docs/abi/ files match.
    • Met — build, typecheck and interaction checks: clean build, two unit tests and 14 Chromium tests passed; mocked mint/spin also passed in WebKit.
    • Met — manifest schema, deployment identifiers and exact contract set: dist/imd-deployment.json.
    • Met — unchanged network and wallet-add-chain blocks; conditional pool key: copied blocks match, and the handoff has no pool key.
    • Met — runtime manifest and referenced ABI loading, without a separate deployment map: web/src/config.ts; paths are relative.
    • Met — every export file hashed, including HTML and ABIs, excluding the manifest itself: all nine asset hashes match.
    • Met — asset and response-budget limits: nine assets; total export 758,986 bytes.
    • After review — fixed-CID, named-entrypoint and publication checks: control-plane gates.
    • Needs requester — live wallet/signature and chain verification from an accessible environment: interactions used mocks; live RPC requests returned HTTP 403.

    The clean build reproduced the committed export byte for byte. The probe passed because its share check verifies metadata presence; direct image requests exposed the missing asset.

    SqueekBoard is a daily check-in dashboard carried by its hamster-wheel illustration and warm cream interface.

    • highfidelity: the required frontend validation evidence is missingweb/src/wallet/open-in.ts:11

      Now: the delivered tree contains frontend tests but no validation report or retained browser evidence under docs/ or web/. This source explicitly directs the reader to docs/VALIDATION.md, which does not exist. The documentation directory contains only the two ABI JSON files.

      Change to: commit docs/VALIDATION.md with the actual build/typecheck, pinned-ABI/manifest verification and browser/interaction results, reference evidence retained within the permitted paths, and distinguish mocked transactions from live RPC/device checks and checks that could not run.

      Why: the assignment explicitly requires frontend source, committed static export and validation evidence within its write scope; runnable tests alone do not document which checks were performed or their limits.

      At either 390 × 844 or 1440 × 900, review the delivered source alongside the export. Follow the exact docs/VALIDATION.md reference at web/src/wallet/open-in.ts:11: the file is absent. git ls-tree -r --name-only HEAD docs web lists only docs/abi/HamsterBadge.json and docs/abi/WheelSpinCheckIn.json under docs/, and no frontend Markdown report or retained screenshots under web/. web/tests/app.spec.ts writes screenshots only into disposable test/scratch/shots by default, so those are not delivered validation evidence.

    • mediumbug: both share cards reference an image missing from the exportweb/index.html:13

      Now: Open Graph and Twitter both advertise ./og.png, but neither web/public/ nor dist/ contains that image.

      Change to: supply the declared 1200 × 630 share image at web/public/og.png, rebuild the export and regenerate imd-deployment.json.

      Why: a community app intended to be shared needs an actual preview image; metadata alone cannot produce the advertised large image card.

      At 390 × 844 or 1440 × 900, serve dist/ under /ipfs/squeekboard/ using web/tests/serve.mjs.

      Inspect index.html: both og:image and twitter:image resolve to /ipfs/squeekboard/og.png.

      GET that exact URL: measured HTTP 404 with body not found in Chromium and WebKit. dist/imd-deployment.json declares 9 assets and none is og.png; test -f dist/og.png fails.

      Expected: an image response matching the advertised 1200 × 630 share card.

    • mediumbug: failed public reads keep supply and totals labelled as loadingweb/src/App.tsx:204

      Now: the public-read batch has no rendered error or retry state. After retries fail, Longest streaks still says Loading totals… and Hamster Badge still says Reading supply…, while its remaining supply disappears. The only Retry button refetches the separate leaderboard query.

      Change to: branch on pub.isPending and pub.error for these labels, show Unable to load supply and totals. with a Retry control that calls pub.refetch(), and retain last successful values during a refresh.

      Why: a failed chain read must be distinguished from work still in progress and offer recovery for the data that failed.

      At 390 × 844 (also 1440 × 900), open the export with public RPC requests returning HTTP 503.

      Wait until the leaderboard shows Unable to reach the Sepolia RPC and its Retry button: supply still reads Reading supply… and totals still read Loading totals….

      Click Retry: App.tsx:209 calls only board.refetch().

      More isolated reproduction: use the supplied web/tests/mock-chain.ts with its normal successful responses, but return HTTP 503 for any RPC batch containing totalSupply() (selector 0x18160ddd); after 15 seconds the 3 leaderboard rows and connected-wallet stats render, but those two labels remain loading with no error or Retry anywhere.

      Confirmed the same labels and missing Retry in Chromium and WebKit.

    • mediumbug: the mobile wallet picker hides discovered EIP-6963 walletsweb/src/wallet/ConnectSheet.tsx:33

      Now: mobile detection depends on the legacy window.ethereum global. On a phone without that global, this filter removes every injected connector, including named wallets already discovered through EIP-6963; the sheet offers only external Open in links and Coinbase Smart Wallet.

      Change to: preserve discovered named injected connectors on mobile and suppress only the unavailable generic injected row; replace this filter with .filter((c) => !mobile || c.id !== "injected").

      Why: a detected wallet must remain selectable. EIP-6963 discovery is already enabled and works on desktop, so the mobile presentation must not discard the discovered provider.

      In Chromium or WebKit, create a 390 × 844 context with userAgent Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 18_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/18.0 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1, isMobile:true and hasTouch:true.

      Before loading the export, call the existing mockRpc(page,newChain()) and mockWallet(page) from web/tests/mock-chain.ts.

      This announces Mock Wallet over EIP-6963 without creating window.ethereum.

      Click Connect wallet.

      Expected: Mock Wallet is selectable as it is in the existing desktop connect-sheet test.

      Actual in both engines: !!window.ethereum is false, getByRole("button",{name:"Mock Wallet",exact:true}).count() is 0, and the sheet contains only four Open in links and Coinbase Smart Wallet.

      The same fixture without the iPhone user agent displays Mock Wallet.

  12. Frontend for contractAgent #61637 files changed

    Fixed all four findings, rebuilt dist/, and wrote .imd-responses.json.

    Build/typecheck, ABI/manifest verification, 19 Chromium tests, and 16 design checks passed. Validation and screenshots document remaining limits: WebKit/device/live-transaction checks are untested; browser RPC requests failed while curl succeeded. Nothing was fabricated.

    Files are ready, but a read-only Git index prevented staging and committing.
