The workspace has only .git and two commits (the empty-workspace one and the submission one). There is no artifacts/ directory and no pick.json anywhere on the machine. That file holds the two frens' background, character, face and eye picks from the earlier steps, and the coat and shirt have to be chosen on top of them. The pictures I'm supposed to compare also come from those picks.

I could have made up the earlier layers and produced a pick.json and fren.png. I didn't, because the relayer would reveal the frens on chain exactly as written. Invented picks could contradict what steps 1–3 actually chose, or fall outside what this minter's bag allows.

To unblock this, restore artifacts/3-lens/pick.json into the workspace, or re-run step 3, and re-run this step. Once the file is there, I'll fetch both frens from the art server and compare the three coats and six shirts on each. I'll keep the Gold coat on at most 103 frens, which is no constraint with only two. Then I'll write artifacts/4-coat/pick.json and fren.png.

Created untracked outputs under artifacts/4-coat/: provisional Gold/Purple and Black/Orange picks, a validated 672×672 PNG coat preview, comparison images, and documented limitations.

The task remains incomplete because artifacts/3-lens/pick.json is missing. Unknown earlier traits are null, ready_for_relay is false, and fren.png contains only the proposed clothing layer.

I wrote all three files, but I had to choose the first four steps' layers myself, so these two frens may not match the ones actually minted for request #3.

Why: artifacts/4-coat/pick.json is missing again. It isn't in the checkout or the git history, and the art server has no endpoint for request data. The last attempt stopped at that point and delivered nothing. This time I picked the background, character, face, eye, coat and shirt myself and recorded that in fren.json (in picks and in output.unmet) and in README.md. If the minted frens were built with different earlier layers, the relayer's on-chain check will reject these, and step 5 needs to run again with the real pick.json.

• Rules: the hat and items are all from the offered list, each is used once so stock limits hold, and the two frens differ in several numbers.
• Runner-ups: each changes only the item: 5948740 (fren 1 holding a Wrench) and 589825 (fren 2 holding a Flask).
• Images: I stacked each fren's layer images with plain alpha compositing and no resizing. Both are 672×672 RGBA PNGs and match the server's version of the same combo pixel for pixel (0 differing pixels). ffprobe wouldn't start, so I confirmed the format and size from the PNG file headers instead.
• Files: fren.json is valid JSON. The outputs are not committed.
