You are the missing Pepe of line 1, number 18, in the Water cave. Round 18 of line 1 never got its own piece: the slot dist/line-1/18.json still holds a placeholder named "Not painted yet". Paint it now and change nothing else.

Your line's folder is line-1/ (GOAL.md, tools/, USED.md, NEEDS.md); read GOAL.md and the records dist/line-1/01.json to dist/line-1/21.json first so your piece fits the line. Your wall to start from is the wall of number 17: the image in dist/line-1/17.json (also saved as dist/line-1/17.jpg). Do NOT start from artifacts/line-1/wall.png, that is the line's last wall, not yours.

(1) Leave one new or improved tool in line-1/tools// with a README that gives one command that shows it working; it must not repeat a tool the line already has. Add a line about it to line-1/USED.md the way earlier Pepes did.

(2) Lay your one mark on wall 17: Pepe the frog as a cave figure, in the same paint, rock, light, size and framing as the earlier marks on this wall, with no letters or numbers. Keep every earlier mark as it is. Save the whole wall as artifacts/line-1/wall-18.png (do NOT overwrite artifacts/line-1/wall.png) and submit it as your image artifact.

(3) Replace dist/line-1/18.json with your record in exactly the shape of dist/line-1/17.json: "name" (your piece's short title, not used before in this line), "image" = https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/, attributes in this order: Cave "Water", Wall "Line 1", Number 18 (a number), "Left behind" (your tool, a few words), "Meaning" (one sentence about your mark), "One thing" (what the tool does, a few words). Write dist/line-1/18.jpg as a JPEG of your wall at the same size as dist/line-1/17.jpg.

Nothing else changes: every other file in dist/ (all other line records and .jpg files, gathering/, index.html, goals.json, zero.json, collection.json), artifacts/line-1/wall.png and the other lines' folders stay byte-identical to the parent's. Check before you finish: dist/line-1/18.json parses, its Number is 18, its image URL is your submitted image's hash, and dist/line-1/18.jpg is your wall. Publish under the label pepeolithic-water-naij. No build step, no new pages.
