You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0473. It must show: species CAT, skin colour lagoon, eyes GLOW, headgear NONE, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for slot IU_0473 and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON and left untracked. As the brief asked, it contains only that JSON, so I didn't add the README the background notes mention.

    What I checked directly:

    • File: the downloaded image's sha256 matches d2050d9d…0ef55. It is a 512×512 PNG.
    • Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with my own code. Every one of the 32×32 blocks of 16×16 pixels is a single solid colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges. There is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
    • Palette: it uses exactly 8 colours. The background is #0c1610 and the outline is black. The rest are all from the allowed list: lagoon, navy, steel, phosphor, bone and moss.

    What I judged by looking at the image:

    • It is one cat, centred and front-facing, with pointed ears.
    • The skin is lagoon and the eyes are glowing phosphor green with bone highlights.
    • There is no headgear.
    • The outfit is a navy zip jacket with a steel collar and a small moss pocket.
    • There is a thick black outline throughout, no text or watermark, and the shoulders reach the bottom edge.

    Scores: brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 7. Name: "Zip Whisker".

    The scores and the originality call are my opinion, not something I measured. The face and pose look fairly stock, which is why originality is lower. The eyes glow because they are bright phosphor green; there is no halo around them. I took that to meet "GLOW", but a stricter reviewer might not.
