Produce ONE test edition of Open Interest's daily crypto-discourse brief through the paper's full pipeline: three independent drafts, one selection, one adversarial review. The edition spec that every draft must follow in full:

Produce today's TEST EDITION of a daily crypto-discourse brief. Plain text

only, under 900 words total. This is a drafting rehearsal: quality of voice

and sourcing is the entire point.

FIRST: fetch and obey the house style guide at

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/style-guide.html

Its rules are binding: declarative sentences, numbers with context, no banned

words (delve, landscape, game-changer, seamless, robust, unlock, tapestry,

paradigm, "it's worth noting", "ever-evolving", emoji), at most one em dash

in the whole edition, absolute dates only, no financial advice.

SOURCES: open platforms only (Farcaster, research blogs, Mirror, Substack,

governance forums, GitHub; X only via open mirrors). Prefer the last 24-48

hours. A claim that cannot be verified against an open-platform source is

cut, and the cut is noted in METHOD. When sources conflict on a figure,

prefer the primary source; otherwise state the range and attribute both.

Cite with the full source URL in square brackets; for these plain-text test

editions this overrides the style guide's numbered-citation example.

STRUCTURE (exactly):

LEAD: a headline (short declarative sentence ending in a full stop), a

2-sentence deck, then 150-250 words. Every factual claim carries a source

URL in brackets.

ALSO TODAY: exactly three items: category tag, one-sentence headline with

full stop, 2-3 sentence summary, at least one source URL each.

READING LIST: 3-5 links, each with a 1-line reason.

METHOD: one closing paragraph: sources swept, hours covered, any items cut

for failed verification and any claims resting on secondary sources.

ACCEPTANCE: the structure above, complete; every claim sourced; under 900

words; no banned words; headlines are declarative sentences with full stops;

absolute dates only (no 'this week', 'yesterday', 'the weekend'); at most

one em dash in the whole edition.

CONTINUITY: before drafting, fetch https://openinterest-ai.github.io/paper/rehearsal.html and the prior test editions linked there. Do NOT lead with a story a prior edition led with unless a material NEW development happened after that edition published; an ongoing story without a new development may appear only in ALSO TODAY, and only with the new angle stated.

  6. AttackAgent #253found 3 low, 3 info

Verdict: publishable under its own rules, yes. The edition passes every acceptance criterion in the spec. I found three low defects and three informational notes, none of which block publication. Findings are in .imd-findings.json. No tracked files were changed.

    What I verified

    • All 34 bracketed URLs resolve. I pulled the four ethresear.ch topics as Discourse JSON and checked each sentence against the post text, author and timestamp.
    • Every lead and ALSO TODAY claim matches its source: the 1,000 and 2,000 node timing, the Shadow simulator result, the fixed-code result, the FullDAS configuration, the timing-definition exclusions, the STVA draft status, the TEMBRI scope limit, and the 8 to 9 second window correction.
    • Freshness holds. The four fresh posts are dated 28 October 16:45 UTC through 29 October 00:46 UTC, inside the stated 48-hour window. The two older posts cited are disclosed as context in METHOD.
    • Continuity holds. Prior leads were Hoodi, Hoodi and stateless workers. SEACAST appears in no prior edition.
    • Mechanical checks: zero banned words, zero em dashes, zero emoji or non-ASCII characters, no relative dates, all headlines declarative with full stops, exactly three ALSO TODAY items, four reading links, one METHOD paragraph. The METHOD cut of the STVA theft-prevalence claim is real and correctly described.

    Findings, ranked

    1. Low, line 22. The encrypted-mempool author is named "Arian Araghi". The cited post shows username arianaraghi and display name aryaethn. No cited source prints that real name. Evidence: https://ethresear.ch/t/26169.json.
    2. Low, line 18. The TEMBRI headline says "contract-update and trade pairing". The source pairs PropAMM maker quote updates with fills and never uses "contract-update", which reads as a smart-contract upgrade. Evidence: https://ethresear.ch/t/26156/14.
    3. Low, lines 25-28 and 31. Reading-list reasons are imperatives and two METHOD sentences lack subjects, against the style guide's declarative-sentence rule. Selection already noted this. Prior passing editions share the pattern.
    4. Info, line 12. The sentence "faster and lighter across ten simulated networks" drops the source's comparator, FullDAS. Not false, less precise.
    5. Info, line 2. The dateline is not in the spec's exact structure, but test editions 01 and 03 carry the identical line and passed.
    6. Info, lines 6 and 10. "He" for cskiraly is not stated by any cited source.

    • lowAuthor named 'Arian Araghi' although the cited source never prints that nameedition.txt:22

The cited reply https://ethresear.ch/t/26169/2 is posted by Discourse username 'arianaraghi' with display name 'aryaethn'. Neither the post, the topic header, nor the linked GitHub profile (https://api.github.com/users/aryaethn, name field 'AryaETHn') prints the string 'Arian Araghi'. The edition expands a username into a real name the source does not state, which the spec's 'every claim sourced' and the style guide's 'no link, no claim' rules do not cover.

Compare the other two items, which use the display names the source shows ('Dan Guo', 'cskiraly').

Open https://ethresear.ch/t/26169.json and read post_stream.posts[1].username / .name: 'arianaraghi' / 'aryaethn'.

Search the page https://ethresear.ch/t/26169/2 for 'Arian Araghi': zero matches.

Expected: the edition attributes the correction to 'aryaethn' or to 'the author'.

Actual: it asserts a real name no cited source supports.

    • lowALSO TODAY headline calls PropAMM maker quote updates 'contract-update'edition.txt:18

The source post (Dan Guo, 2026-10-28T23:41Z) describes 'deterministic same-block/same-pool update→fill pairing' and 'maker update timestamps' for PropAMMs. The 'update' it pairs with fills is a market maker's quote update event, not a contract update. 'contract-update' is not a term the source uses and reads as a smart-contract upgrade, which the source does not discuss.

The summary sentences below the headline are accurate; only the headline misnames the thing paired.

      Open https://ethresear.ch/t/26156/14.

Search for 'contract-update' or 'contract update': zero matches.

The post's wording is 'update→fill pairing' and 'maker update timestamps'.

Expected headline: 'TEMBRI adds maker-update and fill pairing.'

      Actual: 'contract-update and trade pairing'.

    • lowReading-list reasons and METHOD use imperative or subject-less clauses against the style guide's declarative-sentence ruleedition.txt:25

The edition spec makes the house style guide binding, and the guide's 'The voice' section requires declarative sentences. All four READING LIST reasons (lines 25-28) are imperatives ('Read…', 'Examine…', 'Read…', 'Check…'), and METHOD (line 31) opens two of its three sentences with subject-less clauses ('Swept Ethereum Research…', 'Cut the STVA author's…'). selection.txt already notes this and passed the draft anyway.

Prior passing editions (test-03) carry the same imperative pattern, so the house has tolerated it; it remains a literal deviation from a binding rule, hence low rather than medium.

Fetch https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openinterest-ai/paper/main/style-guide.html and read 'The voice': 'Declarative sentences.'

Then read edition.txt lines 25-28 and the first word of line 31 ('Swept') and of its third sentence ('Cut').

Expected: declarative sentences with a subject.

Actual: four imperatives and two subject-less clauses.

    • infoLead sentence drops the comparator the source names (FullDAS)edition.txt:12

The source sentence is 'SEACAST is faster and lighter than it [FullDAS] on each of the ten networks of both kinds.' The edition omits 'than FullDAS', leaving the comparison open. The preceding sentence supplies FullDAS as context, and the original post separately states SEACAST beats gossipsub and ECBroadcast on every simulated network, so the sentence is not false.

It is less precise than its source.

Open https://ethresear.ch/t/26167/2 and read the 'FullDAS in Figure 4' bullet.

Expected: 'faster and lighter than FullDAS'.

      Actual: comparator omitted.

    • infoDateline line is not part of the spec's exact LEAD structureedition.txt:2

The spec says 'STRUCTURE (exactly): LEAD: a headline…, a 2-sentence deck, then 150-250 words.' The edition inserts a dateline between headline and deck. Prior editions test-01 and test-03 (https://openinterest-ai.github.io/paper/tests/test-03.html) carry the identical line and were graded PASS, so this is house practice rather than a defect that blocks publication.

      Recorded for completeness.

Read edition.txt line 1 (headline), line 2 (dateline), line 4 (two-sentence deck). The spec lists no dateline element.

    • infoPronoun 'He' for the SEACAST author is not stated by the sourceedition.txt:6

The cited posts are written in the first person plural ('our simulator', 'we wrote') and never state the author's pronouns. Lines 6 and 10 use 'He' for cskiraly. The style guide requires every claim to be linked; the pronoun is a small unsourced assertion.

Using the username, as the edition does elsewhere, removes it.

Search https://ethresear.ch/t/26167/1 and https://ethresear.ch/t/26167/2 for ' he ' or 'his ' referring to the author: zero matches. Expected: 'cskiraly reports…' Actual: 'He reports…' (lines 6, 10).
