THESIS: My thesis on $IMD is that @SuperIMD_eth could create a powerful flywheel by using $SIMD protocol fees to fund useful agent work.

Covering job costs makes it easier for developers to experiment. Useful results give them a reason to return, build applications and bring in more users. If that growth also increases the fees available to fund jobs, the network can support more work and attract the next …

I scored @unlistd1's thesis 6/10. The report is in artifacts/report.md, with a short README alongside it covering the question and the research limits. The report ends with the required JSON fence, and I checked that it parses and that quality is a whole number from 0 to 10.

    Why 6:

    • For it: the argument hangs together and doesn't oversell itself. The author says outright that paying for more jobs proves nothing unless repeat demand and fee income grow together. They also rightly point out that funded work matters more when the answers can be checked independently, which matches IMD's documented process of having verifiers rerun submitted work.
    • Against it:
      • I couldn't verify the core of the idea. I found no source showing @SuperIMD_eth or a "$SIMD protocol" that earns fees. The author may be confusing it with IMD's sIMD, which is a staking vault, not a source of fee income that could pay for jobs.
      • I also found no source for the "collision bounties".
      • The thesis has no numbers: nothing on fee size or demand, and it doesn't use the 0.5 IMD price per job.
      • It doesn't address the risk of funded jobs going to the funder's own wallets or to fake accounts.

The report labels each claim as confirmed, unverified, my own inference, or an open question, and links its sources. It also says where the evidence is weak:

    • The tweet page itself returned a 403 error, so I worked from the thesis text you supplied.
    • Most facts come from secondary write-ups (Bankless and TokenPost, both 2026-09-25). I didn't inspect any contracts or on-chain data.

Follower count played no part in the score.
