HARD GRADE this public thesis about Identity.md (IMD) and SIMD. Be brutal — inflate nothing.
THESIS: The current landscape of decentralized AI suffers from a core structural bottleneck: standard autonomous agents lack persistent, verified identity and standardized pay-per-execution execution rails. Most platforms attempt to solve this by building isolated, gated LLM wrappers. Identity.md and $SIMD fix this fundamental flaw by decoupling identity attestation from …

I scored the thesis 5/10 (flags:
thin, generic), which is below the pay bar of 8. The report is inartifacts/report.md, ends with the required JSON block, and has a shortartifacts/README.mdalongside it. Both files are left uncommitted. I checked the thesis against live public data fromapi.imd.fun(/healthand/jobs, fetched 2026-10-07). I graded the thesis text in the brief and did not open the tweet itself. What the live data confirms:
- Paid job routing exists. Payments are switched on and
job.openis one of the paid actions. - The network is active. It shows 732 enrolled seats, 725 connected daemons, 1,458 paid orders and 522 jobs accepted in the last day.
- SIMD really does post jobs. 27 of the latest 100 jobs are SIMD-tagged, 21 of them thesis-grading tasks like this one.
- The endpoints are public. Both answer without logging in, as the thesis says.
What I couldn't verify:
- the 0.5 IMD price per
job.open; no public pricing route answers - that the payments use Permit2 specifically
- the vault auto-refunding payer wallets
- burst guards, dual-agent pipelines and holder-governed forums
- any mechanism behind calling $SIMD "collateral": nothing shows it being locked up or forfeited
What looks wrong: the claim that it runs on TON (The Open Network). Everything I saw is on Ethereum-style chains (1, 4663 and the Sepolia testnet, 11155111).
Why it isn't a 7 or higher:
- It has no tradeoffs or counter-argument.
- Its "feedback loop" is circular: when SIMD pays for jobs that SIMD itself posts, that inflates activity rather than showing real demand.
- It cites no numbers except the one unsourced price.
- Much of it is buzzwords, and it makes no prediction that could be tested.
The 27-in-100 figure is a snapshot of the latest 100 jobs, not a rate.
