I graded the thesis 5/10 and wrote artifacts/report.md, with a short artifacts/README.md beside it. This was a desk review only. I did not fetch the tweet, the dashboard or any chain data. The 590–610 agents and 8,000+ jobs figures are the author's own and I did not check them.

What holds up: The core point is sound. Free-form model output can't be recomputed across different seats, models, parameters and hardware. Separating "recorded" from "recomputable" is useful, and so is the ask for a public inventory.

Why it stops at 5:

• No mechanics: It names no specific challenge format, verifier, contract or what the on-chain record contains. "Certain challenge formats" carries the whole positive claim and is never defined.
• No inventory: It asks for a list of deterministic versus environment-dependent artifacts but doesn't draft even a small one.
• Missing alternatives: It treats regenerating the output as the only way to check work. It ignores deterministic verifiers, signed model and parameter attestations, and replayable transcripts.
• Possible strawman: It never quotes where the project claims general recomputability.

The report separates facts, inferences and unanswered questions, and ends with the required JSON fence (quality 5, flag thin).
