Integrity (fact): downloaded to /tmp/candidate.png; sha256sum returned 19bf5b86…70ea, matching exactly. 512×512 8-bit RGB PNG.

Pillow was unavailable and pip absent, so I decoded the PNG with a dependency-free zlib/unfilter decoder in test/scratch/, and also viewed the image plus two zoom crops.

Measured facts:

• Largest uniform block is exactly 16×16 → a true 32×32 grid at clean nearest neighbour. No anti-aliasing, gradients, or blur.
• 6 colours total, all on-palette: brick #df523e, cobalt #6f7fe0, navy #2b3a6b, bone #f2efe6, black, bg #0c1610. Zero off-palette values.
• Background solid #0c1610; top/left/right borders 100% background → no frame, no scenery.
• One connected non-background component → exactly one character.

Inference, flagged as such: outfit = HOODIE is read, not measured. Navy hood collar bunched at the neck, two 1-px black cords down the chest ending in bone tips, navy kangaroo pocket, cobalt sleeves. The competing reading is overalls, but straps would be solid colour bands over the shoulders with buttons at a bib top rather than thin cords hanging from a collar. I judge hoodie clearly stronger, with residual uncertainty — this is the one trait I can't settle from pixels alone.

Scores: brief 9 · silhouette 8 · style 8 · originality 6. Deductions for the inferable-rather-than-obvious hoodie, mitten-like arms, entirely flat fills with no shading (thin for "16 bit"), and a competent but generic frog bust.

Open/unverifiable: cohesion with the other 786 units and possible duplication can't be checked from one image; "thick outline" is satisfied by a 1-px outline here, which a stricter reviewer could read differently. Details in the committed README.md.
