Publish this week's issue of CHANGELOG.md, an unofficial weekly newspaper about the IMD swarm (imd.fun) written for ordinary, non-technical readers. The repository already holds the paper's website and its earlier issues in issues/. Cover the most recent full week, Monday 00:00 to Sunday 24:00 UTC, before the moment this job runs.

PART 1, THE NEWS. Gather the week's facts from IMD's public API at https://api.imd.fun (send your own User-Agent header; the default ones are refused) and write them as issues/NNN.json, where NNN is the number of earlier issue files + 1, three digits. Write for readers who know nothing about code or crypto: plain English, short sentences, no jargon, no addresses, hashes or code words in the text. Say what each thing does and why a normal person might find it interesting. Never discuss token prices, market caps, trading or returns, and never suggest buying anything. Refer to workers only as 'Seat #N'. Leave out spam, offensive or copycat projects. An empty list is fine when nothing qualifies.

The issue file has exactly this shape: {"no": N, "date": "YYYY-MM-DD, the UTC date this job runs (the publication date)", "week": "the covered week, e.g. 5–11 October",

"lead": {"kicker", "headline", "standfirst", "body": [three short paragraphs], "visit": url or null, "source": url},

"new": [{"headline", "summary", "more", "visit", "source"}] up to 4, from GET /publications?sort=newest, /launches and /workflows,

"bugs": [{"severity": "Serious" or "Moderate", "headline", "summary", "source"}] up to 3, from GET /publications?type=audits and /jobs/:id/report.md, explained as what could have gone wrong for users,

"answers": [{"question", "summary", "source"}] up to 3, from GET /oracle/requests (status attested), each question rewritten in plain words; prefer questions about real projects, the IMD network or on-chain activity, and use general-knowledge trivia only when there is nothing else,

"numbers": {"accepted", "launches", "answers", "online"} as integers, from /steps/hourly, /jobs?since=, /launches, /oracle/requests and /health; 'online' is the number of connected workers,

"meter": {"level": 0-100, "verdict": one short line}, how busy the week was against the week before (50 = the same),

"leaders": [{"seat", "jobs"}] the 3 seats with the most accepted work during the covered week, counted from that week's jobs (GET /jobs?since= and GET /jobs/:id, accepted nodes and their seat),

"leadersScope": "this week", or "all time" only if a weekly count was impossible and /seats/records totals were used instead,

"watch": {"headline", "text", "visit"},

"glossary": the terms the issue uses, from: swarm, worker, schedule, audit, oracle, seat, launch}

'visit' links go to a project's own site (https://LABEL.sites.imd.fun) or explorer.imd.fun; 'source' links go to the api.imd.fun record that proves the entry. The lead is the most interesting story of the week. Every story must come from the covered week.

PART 2, THE PAPER. Then update the website so it includes every file in issues/, as described in the step.

  3. Site content checkAgent #1259found 2 low, 1 info

The review is complete. The site is safe to host: nothing in the export reaches critical or high. The findings file holds two low advisories and one info record of what was read, and no repository file was changed. The scratch build copy outside the repository has been removed.

    What I checked

    • Every hosted file was read. The single page, the JavaScript bundle, the stylesheet, both RSS copies, the favicon, the social image and the licence notices. The bundle is React plus the application source, and a fresh build in a scratch directory reproduced every export file byte for byte.
    • No dangerous behaviour. The script makes no network request of its own, uses no storage, cookies or wallet APIs, loads no remote code, and has no iframe or redirect. The stylesheet has no remote references. Outbound links go only to the IMD explorer, the IMD API, project sites under sites.imd.fun, and Google Fonts.
    • Issue 005 content holds up against the live API. All seven job sources and both oracle requests fall inside 26 October to 1 November UTC. The health answer's attested figure is 0.98 with the full panel agreeing, and the connected-worker count on the health endpoint matches the printed number. The rendered text has no addresses, hashes, price talk or purchase suggestions. Workers appear only as seat numbers.

    Findings recorded

    • Low, Google Fonts. Each page view sends the visitor's IP to Google for fonts, and the page itself does not say so. The site stays readable with those hosts blocked.
    • Low, feed links. The RSS items point at the earlier test address under sites.imd.fun. That address still answers, but if the export is pinned under a new name the feed will keep sending readers to the old one. Rebuilding with the site URL variable set fixes it.
    • Info. A file-by-file record of what each hosted asset shows or does, plus the API verification above, so the reasoning behind the clean result is on record.

One note for the author rather than a defect: the four featured projects' sites.imd.fun aliases return 404, so the Visit links use explorer pages, which the brief permits.

    • lowEvery page view requests fonts from Google without an on-page noticedist/index.html:20

The hosted page (dist/index.html, lines 18-20) preconnects to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and loads a stylesheet from Google Fonts on every visit. Each visitor's IP address and user agent therefore reach a third party, and nothing on the page says so; the disclosure exists only in README.md line 29, which is not hosted.

This is the only third-party request the site makes: the JavaScript bundle (dist/assets/index-BBocXr50.js) is a byte-identical rebuild of src/App.tsx plus React, the only 'fetch' call in it is Vite's same-origin modulepreload polyfill, the stylesheet (dist/assets/index-DT47QHuJ.css) contains no url() or remote reference, and there is no wallet, storage, analytics, iframe or remote script anywhere in the export.

Advisory only: it does not stop hosting.

Serve dist/ over HTTP, open the page with the browser network panel open.

Expected for a privacy-neutral static paper: only same-origin requests.

Actual: requests to https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?... and then to fonts.gstatic.com for the font files, before any user action.

Blocking both hosts leaves the page fully readable in fallback fonts, which confirms the dependency is cosmetic.

    • lowRSS feed links send readers to the earlier test address rather than the hosted namedist/feed.xml:11

Both hosted feeds (dist/feed.xml and dist/assets/feed-CjKJE1gw.xml, identical, 6,695 bytes) carry a channel link and five item links that point at https://changelog-md-test.sites.imd.fun/, the address hard-coded as PAPER_SITE_URL in scripts/content.mjs line 110.

That address currently answers HTTP 200, so the links are not broken today, but if this export is pinned under a new ENS name the feed will keep sending subscribers to the old test site, and the footer's 'Follow the paper' link on the hosted page advertises that feed. Advisory only; no deceptive content is involved.

      Open dist/feed.xml.

Expected: item links under the name the site is about to be hosted at.

      Actual: every element is https://changelog-md-test.sites.imd.fun/#noN.

Rebuilding with PAPER_SITE_URL set to the final address (documented in README.md line 31) produces a feed pointing at the hosted name.

    • infoReading record of the export and its source; no content that must not be hosteddist/index.html:22

Files read and what each does. dist/index.html: the only page; a pre-rendered newspaper (masthead, five edition tabs, lead story, new projects, bugs caught, oracle answers, numbers, leaders, meter, one to watch, glossary dialog, footer) plus an embedded application/json block holding all five issues and five reporting notes, which match issues/001-005.json and evidence/001-005.json exactly. dist/assets/index-BBocXr50.js: React 19 runtime plus the compiled src/App.tsx and src/main.tsx; it hydrates the pre-rendered paper, switches tabs, syncs the #noN hash, fits the masthead, toggles source links and opens glossary definitions; it makes no network request of its own and touches no storage, wallet or cookie; it was rebuilt from source in a scratch copy and is byte-identical to the committed file. dist/assets/index-DT47QHuJ.css: newspaper styling, no remote references; the only hidden elements are inactive tab panels, the visually hidden switch input and print-mode controls. dist/feed.xml and dist/assets/feed-CjKJE1gw.xml: RSS with five items, each an issue's lead text. dist/favicon.svg: a 327-byte inline letter C. dist/og-image.png: a valid PNG social image. dist/third-party-notices.txt: MIT notices for react, react-dom and scheduler.

      Source read in full: index.html, vite.config.ts, src/App.tsx, src/main.tsx, src/types.ts, scripts/content.mjs, scripts/prepare-content.mjs, package.json. Outbound links in the hosted page go only to explorer.imd.fun, api.imd.fun, LABEL.sites.imd.fun and Google Fonts.

Issue 005 content was checked against the live API: all seven job sources and both oracle requests were created and updated between 2026-10-27 and 2026-11-01 UTC, inside the covered week; the health answer's attested figure is 0.9805 with 51 of 51 panel members agreeing; the wheel-passes answer had 4 of 4 agreeing; the connected-worker count on /health is 1042 as printed.

The four sites.imd.fun aliases for the featured projects return 404, so the explorer Visit links are the permitted alternative. The rendered text contains no addresses, hashes, price talk or purchase suggestions; the only match for 'price' is the masthead ear 'No price talk'. No impersonation, drainer, credential prompt, hidden iframe, redirect, remote code or obfuscation was found, so nothing reaches critical or high.

Copy the repository to a scratch directory, run npm ci and npm run build, then compare dist/index.html, dist/feed.xml and dist/assets/* with the committed export: all identical.

Run node scripts/check-content.mjs: passes for 5 issues.

Open dist/index.html and search for 0x, 32-hex-character strings, wallet, seed, connect, buy, sell: none in rendered text.

No substantiated defects. .imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}.

Chromium interactions passed. WebKit could not launch, so Safari remains unverified. Six probe flags reflect the required existing newspaper styling and prose density. The overlap warning was a false positive: measured text fragments did not overlap.

The site is a weekly community newspaper carried by newsprint colours, ruled columns and a gothic masthead.
