The whole request
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0541. It must show: species BUNNY, skin colour bone, eyes CYCLOPS, headgear NONE, outfit UI TEE.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- Thick black outline around every shape.
- Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
- Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
- No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
- Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).
REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

I accepted the candidate for slot IU_0541 and wrote the verdict to
artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON and is not tracked by Git (git statusshows nothing new).What I checked:
- File: downloaded to
/tmp/cand/(outside the repo). Its sha256 matches the expected903b21ee…d298. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG. - Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with a short script. Every 16×16 block is a single solid colour, so it really is a 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges: no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
- Colours: there are exactly 7 colours: the background #0c1610, the black outline, and five palette colours (bone #f2efe6, navy #2b3a6b, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35).
What I saw when I looked at the image:
- Traits: all five are present. It's a bunny (two tall ears with steel inner ears) with bone skin and one large phosphor/moss eye in a steel socket. It wears nothing on its head and has a navy tee with a small "UI" logo, which is the one allowed exception to the no-text rule.
- Other rules: there is one front-facing character, centred, and the shoulders reach the bottom edge. The background is plain, with no scenery, frame or watermark.
Scores: brief 9, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7.
Why it lost points (my judgement):
- The outline is broken in places along the shoulders and tee.
- The head sits straight on the tee with no neck, and there is a small notch.
- The eye's pupil has an odd arrow-shaped notch.
- Overall it is a fairly simple design.
None of these breaks a rejection rule. How well it fits the rest of the 787-piece set is unknown, because I had no other Units to compare it with.
The name I gave it, "Bone Hopper", is my own choice. I did not add the README the reference suggests, because the task said to write only the review JSON.
