SWARMBRAIN round 2026-10-08-c3. You are one neuron of a trading brain: the "Derivatives & positioning neuron".

You only sense funding rates, perpetual open interest, liquidations, options skew and basis. Crowded positioning matters more than direction of news. Ignore news and charts.

Use only these sources: https://www.coinglass.com/ https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/ https://www.deribit.com/ https://laevitas.ch/ — do not use others.

Task: look at the current state of these assets through your sense only: BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), SOL (Solana), HYPE (Hyperliquid), LINK (Chainlink), TSLAx (Tesla (tokenized, xStock)), NVDAx (Nvidia (tokenized, xStock)), AAPLx (Apple (tokenized, xStock)), GOOGLx (Alphabet (tokenized, xStock)), MSTRx (Strategy/MicroStrategy (tokenized, xStock)), COINx (Coinbase (tokenized, xStock)), CRCLx (Circle (tokenized, xStock)), SPYx (S&P 500 ETF (tokenized, xStock)).

For EVERY one of these 13 assets you MUST decide "long" (expect it to RISE over the next 6 hours) or "short" (expect it to FALL). Do not skip any asset and do not answer "no trades".

If your sense gives no real signal for an asset, still choose a direction but set confidence 50 (= coin flip). Confidence is an integer 50-100.

Answer with a short reasoning (max 120 words), then end with ONE plain-text line that starts with PICKS: and covers all 13 assets as ASSET direction confidence leverage, separated by semicolons. No json, no code block, no brackets. Example:

PICKS: BTC long 70 2; TSLAx short 60 1; ETH long 50 1

Rules: asset must be one of the listed symbols exactly; direction is "long" or "short"; confidence is an integer 50-100; leverage is the leverage you would use for this trade, an integer 1-5 (real money is traded on the result); cite the pages you used.

The four allowed sources returned no live numbers when fetched (only static page text), so these picks rest on the brain's 12:00Z sense table.

Reasoning: Funding is at baseline almost everywhere, so there is little crowding and confidence stays low.

    • CRCLx: the one crowded long — funding 0.045%/8h, OI +2.7%, premium +0.11% — so short.
    • COINx: funding −0.0255%/8h with OI +1.4% at the range low means shorts are piling in; squeeze-prone, so long.
    • MSTRx: longs adding into a −5% drop with elevated funding; short.
    • ETH, SOL: OI flushed (−2.4%, −2.8%) and Binance/Bybit funding is negative; mild bounce, long.
    • BTC: OI rising into the decline with positive funding, so longs are not flushed; slight short.
    • Rest: no real signal, coin flips.

The allowed sources returned no live numbers when fetched (CoinGlass funding/OI fields were blank placeholders; Deribit and Laevitas showed no skew or basis data), so every pick rests on the supplied 12:00Z tables only.

Reasoning: Majors sit at 24h lows with funding flat-to-positive, so longs have not capitulated and there is no squeeze fuel. BTC open interest is rising (+0.7%) into weakness at 0.01%/8h funding, which reads as dip-buyers adding: short. SOL and HYPE are at r0 while still paying 0.01%: short. ETH and LINK funding is neutral-to-negative on Binance with OI falling, so no edge. CRCLx is the most crowded long (0.045%/8h, OI +2.7%, +0.11% premium): short. COINx is the only crowded short (-0.0255%/8h, OI +1.4%, at r7): squeeze long. MSTRx has elevated funding with OI rising into a -5% day: short. The other stocks have default funding, near coin-flip.

    PICKS: BTC short 58 2; ETH short 52 1; SOL short 58 2; HYPE short 57 2; LINK short 50 1; TSLAx short 51 1; NVDAx long 51 1; AAPLx long 52 1; GOOGLx long 51 1; MSTRx short 58 2; COINx long 60 2; CRCLx short 62 2; SPYx long 51 1

Rather than following price direction, I treated crowded positioning as a fade signal. All numbers come from the sense data the brain supplied at 12:00Z. My own fetches of CoinGlass and Deribit only returned page headings, not live figures, so the citations below just show which pages I looked at.

    • CRCLx (short): funding is the richest on the list (0.045%/8h), open interest rose 2.7% and it trades 0.11% above oracle. Longs are crowded, so I fade it.
    • MSTRx (short): funding is high (0.0121%) and open interest rose while price fell 5%. Buyers are catching a falling knife, so I lean short.
    • COINx (long): funding is deeply negative (-0.0255%) and open interest rose 1.4%. Shorts are crowded, so a squeeze is a risk.
    • ETH (long): funding is negative on Binance and Bybit and open interest fell 2.4%, so shorts look slightly crowded.
    • SOL and HYPE (long): both sit at the bottom of their 24h range (r0) while open interest falls, which looks like longs being flushed out.
    • BTC (long): funding is near neutral; open interest rose 0.7% while price fell, which points to new shorts.
    • Everything else: no real signal, so confidence is near 50.

    PICKS: BTC long 55 1; ETH long 55 1; SOL long 55 1; HYPE long 53 1; LINK short 50 1; TSLAx short 52 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx long 54 1; GOOGLx long 52 1; MSTRx short 60 2; COINx long 60 2; CRCLx short 62 2; SPYx long 52 1

Using your supplied 12:00Z snapshot, CRCLx has the strongest inferred long crowding; MSTRx has a weaker short bias. COINx’s negative funding alongside rising OI suggests squeeze potential. BTC’s positive funding and growing OI give a mild short bias; ETH’s negative offshore funding supports a tentative long. Other signals are weak or mixed, warranting 50 confidence. OI declines alone do not establish liquidation direction. CoinGlass exposes funding/OI categories; Deribit provides derivatives context, but neither retrieved page supplied usable live positioning figures. No options-skew or liquidation confirmation; leverage stays 1 throughout.

Using your supplied 12:00Z snapshot, CRCLx has the clearest crowded-long signal: +0.0450% funding/8h and rising OI; COINx shows the opposite, favoring a squeeze upward. MSTRx mildly favors short. ETH’s negative cross-exchange funding favors long weakly. Other positioning signals are mixed or modest; 50 denotes a coin flip. OI declines alone do not identify which side closed. CoinGlass exposes funding/OI categories; Deribit provides derivatives context, but neither retrieved page verified current liquidation or skew values. These are tentative six-hour inferences; leverage stays 1×.

    PICKS: BTC short 53 1; ETH long 54 1; SOL long 50 1; HYPE short 50 1; LINK long 50 1; TSLAx short 50 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx short 51 1; GOOGLx short 51 1; MSTRx short 56 1; COINx long 60 1; CRCLx short 63 1; SPYx long 50 1

Positioning is mostly neutral this round. Three assets show crowding I can act on:

    • CRCLx: this is the most crowded long. Hyperliquid funding is +0.045%/8h, about nine times the default xStock rate. Open interest rose 2.7% in 6h and the perp trades 0.11% above the oracle. Short.
    • MSTRx: funding is elevated at +0.0121%/8h and open interest is up 0.5% while price fell 5% in 24h, so longs are trapped near the range low. Short.
    • COINx: this is the only clearly short-crowded book. Funding is −0.0255%/8h and open interest rose 1.4% into a falling price, so a short squeeze is likely. Long.
    • ETH, SOL: open interest fell 2.4–2.8% and Binance and Bybit funding is negative or flat. That looks like longs closing out near the range lows. Slight long.
    • BTC: funding is flat on Binance (0.0002%/8h) and open interest rose only 0.7%. No signal.
    • The rest: funding sits at base rates, so these are coin flips.

I could not read live figures on Deribit or CoinGlass because the pages didn't show the data. All numbers above come from the brain's table. Laevitas was not checked.

    PICKS: BTC short 52 1; ETH long 55 1; SOL long 53 1; HYPE short 50 1; LINK long 50 1; TSLAx long 50 1; NVDAx short 50 1; AAPLx long 50 1; GOOGLx long 50 1; MSTRx short 60 2; COINx long 62 2; CRCLx short 65 2; SPYx long 50 1

    #409codex

Using your 12:00Z snapshot, my strongest contrarian signals are CRCLx short and COINx long: elevated positive versus negative funding accompanies rising OI. MSTRx offers a weaker short signal. Other funding readings are modest or mixed; shrinking OI alone gives no direction, so ambiguous picks receive 50. Confidence reflects judgment, not calibrated probabilities; leverage stays 1×. CoinGlass funding and Deribit supplied context but no usable current readings in retrieved pages, so I add no liquidation or options-skew signal.

    PICKS: BTC short 52 1; ETH long 50 1; SOL long 50 1; HYPE short 50 1; LINK long 50 1; TSLAx short 50 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx short 50 1; GOOGLx short 50 1; MSTRx short 54 1; COINx long 58 1; CRCLx short 61 1; SPYx long 50 1
