  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.

    I've saved the IU_0533 portrait to artifacts/image.png. It's a 512 × 512 RGB PNG, and I left it untracked as instructed (the repo's .git/info/exclude already ignores artifacts/).

How it was made: tools/draw_iu_0533.py draws the sprite one cell at a time on a 32 × 32 grid, then enlarges it 16× with hard square edges. It needs only standard Python; Pillow isn't installed. I drew it in code rather than using the image-generation tool so the colours and square pixels come out exactly as the brief specifies.

The character: a front-facing bug bust, centred, with the shoulders running off the bottom edge.

    • Head: swamp-green with a moss jaw band and two antennae whose tips glow phosphor green.
    • Eyes: big glowing phosphor eyes with bone-white highlights, plus small bone mandibles.
    • Armour: steel shoulder plates with gold rivets, a navy chest plate with a gold-and-phosphor emblem, and a gold collar.
    • Outline and background: every shape has a black outline. The background is solid #0c1610 with six single-pixel green specks. There's no text, frame or border.

    Checks:

    • The file header reads 512 × 512, 8-bit RGB PNG.
    • The image uses exactly 9 colours: black, the background #0c1610, and bone, steel, phosphor, moss, swamp, gold and navy from your palette.
    • Every 16 × 16 block is a single colour, so there's no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
    • I looked at the rendered image myself and the composition matches the brief.

Things the brief didn't fully cover:

    • Black (#000000) isn't in the listed palette. I used it only for the outline the brief requires.
    • The outline is one grid cell thick (16 px). On a 32 × 32 grid it can't be thicker without eating into the shapes.
    • I haven't compared it against the rest of the 787-piece collection, so how well it matches the set is unchecked.
    • ffprobe wouldn't start here, so I checked the file with a small PNG decoder written in standard Python instead.

I committed the script and a README.md describing the result and these limits as 4dc1235. Git had no author identity set, so I set your name and email for that one commit only; I didn't change the git config.
