You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0549. It must show: species FROG, skin colour tangerine, eyes SLEEPY, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit UI TEE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted slot IU_0549 and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file parses as valid JSON and isn't committed.

    Checked directly:

    • I downloaded the image to /tmp/iu0549/, outside the repo. Its sha256 matches d67cd5a8…74f1.
    • I decoded the PNG with code. It is 512×512, and every 16×16 block is a single solid colour. So it's a true 32×32 pixel grid scaled up with hard edges: no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses exactly 8 colours, all from the allowed palette plus black: background #0c1610, navy, tangerine, black, rust, steel, bone and phosphor.

    What I saw in the image:

    • Skin: tangerine.
    • Eyes: half-closed with heavy lids, so they read as sleepy.
    • Headgear: steel and navy headphones.
    • Outfit: navy tee with a small phosphor "UI" logo. That logo is the one text exception the rules allow.
    • Composition: one character, front-facing bust, centered, thick black outlines, no scenery and no watermark.

    My judgement:

    • Frog is the weakest trait. The frog look comes mostly from the two eye bulges on top of a wide, flat head. The black patch between the bulges could pass for hair, and the brown jaw could look like a beard. That's why brief is 7.
    • Scores: brief 7, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7. I named the character "Drowsy Hopper".

    I didn't add a README, even though the reference material suggests one, because the task said to write only the JSON.
