You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0371. It must show: species FROG, skin colour cobalt, eyes BIG, headgear CAP, outfit SUIT.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted slot IU_0371 and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON and is not committed, as required.

    What I checked directly:

    • Hash: the downloaded file's sha256 matches c9f60651…8403214. /tmp couldn't be written to, so I saved it in test/scratch/, which is deleted before submission. The image is not in the repo.
    • Pixel grid: the image is 512×512 and splits exactly into a 32×32 grid of 16px blocks. All 1,024 blocks are a single solid colour, so it's hard-edged pixel art with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • Palette: it has 10 colours in total: black for outlines, plus nine from the allowed list (cobalt, navy, brick, bone, moss, gold, bubblegum, lilac, and the #0c1610 background).

    What I judged by looking at the image:

    • There is one front-facing cobalt frog bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Big white eyes with dark pupils.
    • A brick-red cap with a gold top button.
    • A navy suit jacket with a white collar, red tie, lilac pocket square and gold buttons.
    • Thick black outlines, a few moss-green specks in the background, and no scenery, text, watermark or frame.

    Scores: brief 9, silhouette 9, style 9, originality 7. Name: "Cobalt Clerk".

    Where it's my judgement rather than a measurement:

    • The cap's brim is only a thin band, so the headgear could read as a helmet. I still counted it as a cap, and took one point off the brief score for it.
    • Originality got a 7 because the design is clean but fairly conventional for a frog.
    • I couldn't compare it with the other units in the 787-piece set, so "fits the collection" is based on this image alone.
