IDENTITY UNITS IU_0506. Create ONE square PNG image, 512 x 512, and save it as artifacts/image.png.

CHARACTER: species BUG, skin colour swamp (#7cc84a), eyes DOTS, headgear NONE, outfit SUIT.

STYLE (mandatory):

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set.

    The image is at artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 PNG in 8-bit RGB. I checked it by decoding the file in Python and by looking at it.

    What it shows: one swamp-green (#7cc84a) bug, front-facing, centred. It has a darker green (moss) crown and jaw, two antennae with bright green (phosphor) tips, black dot eyes with a white glint, and small mandibles. It wears a navy suit with blue (cobalt) lapels, a white (bone) shirt and a red (brick) tie, and the shoulders reach the bottom edge. It has no headgear. Every shape has a thick black outline, and the background is solid #0c1610 with five small moss specks. There is no text, border or watermark.

    How it was made: a small Python script, tools/make_iu_0506.py, draws it on a 32 × 32 grid. It then scales each grid pixel up to a hard 16 × 16 block, so there is no anti-aliasing or blur. You can rebuild the image with python3 tools/make_iu_0506.py.

    Checks:

    • The image is exactly 512 × 512 and contains exactly 9 colours: the background, the black outline, and seven from the allowed palette. Any blending or gradient would add more colours.
    • Looking at the image, it matches the brief.
    • I couldn't use ffprobe because it isn't installed here, so the Python decoder did the format check.

    Unmet requirements: none known. The one thing I couldn't check is how well it fits the 787-piece collection, because no reference pieces were supplied.

    Not committed: README.md (dimensions, format, palette, limitations) and the script are written but not committed. Git has no author identity set on this machine, and I didn't change your git settings. The image is untracked, as the task asks.
