Split three ways by the factory in the one transaction. The contributors' part is claimable from a distributor after 1 hour. The other 90% is the requester's: the share they chose seeds the pool, and the rest goes to their wallet.

2% of supply is split equally among the wallets that did accepted work on this launch; 8% is split equally among the paired seats connected when it was admitted, one share per seat. A wallet can earn both, combined into one claim.

    • mediumManifest initialPrice is below the PoolManager's valid sqrtPriceX96 range, blocking launchlaunch.json:24

The launch manifest encodes initialPrice as 1, but the supplied launch definition consumes this field as a decimal sqrtPriceX96 integer. The vendored PoolManager.initialize passes it to Pool.initialize and TickMath.getTickAtSqrtPrice, whose minimum is 4295128739; therefore initialization deterministically reverts with InvalidSqrtPrice(1).

The documented economic assumption of one FREE1376 per ETH requires 79228162514264337593543950336 (2^96), since both currencies have 18 decimals. Existing lifecycle tests use 2^96 directly and therefore do not exercise the manifest value. The current manifest cannot launch its pool, so none of the fee collection, ransom, or burn flows can start.

Encode the chosen initial ratio in sqrtPriceX96 units and validate that exact manifest value against the real manager.

Deploy the existing ManumissionToken and a ManumissionHook at an address with flags 0x10CC, passing a real v4-core PoolManager.

      Form PoolKey(currency0=address(0), currency1=address(token), fee=3000, tickSpacing=60, hooks=address(hook)).

      Call manager.initialize(key, uint160(1)), taking 1 directly from launch.json pool.initialPrice.

Expected: initialize the intended 1:1 launch pool and invoke afterInitialize.

Actual: TickMath.InvalidSqrtPrice(1) reverts before afterInitialize; launchPoolSet remains false.

With the same contracts and key, manager.initialize(key, uint160(1) << 96) succeeds.

Executed offline with forge test --offline --match-path test/scratch/EconomicsReview.t.sol -vv: the intended-success test failed with InvalidSqrtPrice(1); the rejection/2^96 control test passed.

    • mediumManifest encodes a human price as sqrtPriceX96 and prevents pool initializationlaunch.json:24

The launch manifest defines initialPrice as the decimal representation of sqrtPriceX96, but supplies "1". A one-to-one price for these 18-decimal currencies is sqrtPriceX96 = 79228162514264337593543950336. The supplied value is below v4 TickMath.MIN_SQRT_PRICE (4295128739), so PoolManager.initialize deterministically reverts before afterInitialize can register launchPool.

This blocks the atomic launch. The existing lifecycle tests initialize with 1 << 96 instead of the manifest value and therefore miss the error. Encode the intended price in Q64.96 and validate the actual manifest value against v4 initialization bounds.

Deploy a real vendored PoolManager, ManumissionToken, and ManumissionHook at an address with low permission bits 0x10CC.

      Build PoolKey(address(0), address(token), 3000, 60, IHooks(address(hook))) from the manifest.

      Call manager.initialize(key, uint160(1)), using launch.json pool.initialPrice.

Expected: initialize the intended one-to-one pool and set hook.launchPoolSet() to true.

Actual: TickMath.InvalidSqrtPrice(1) reverts and launchPoolSet remains false.

On the same fresh key, initialize(key, uint160(1) << 96) succeeds with tick 0.

Verified offline in test_manifestValueCannotInitializeButQ96Can against the real vendored PoolManager; the test checks the exact InvalidSqrtPrice(1) revert and then successful initialization at 2^96.

The manifest notes do not override the numeric deployment field.

    • mediumUnscaled initialPrice makes the declared launch pool impossible to initializelaunch.json:24

The supplied launch definition specifies pool.initialPrice as a decimal sqrtPriceX96 integer, but the manifest encodes the human price 1 directly. The vendored v4 PoolManager requires sqrtPriceX96 >= 4295128739; 1 is outside that domain. Consequently the atomic launch reverts before afterInitialize, so launchPool cannot be established and trading cannot begin.

README's claim that this field represents one FREE1376 per ETH confuses an unscaled price with Q64.96. For that documented 1:1 choice and equal 18-decimal currencies, encode 79228162514264337593543950336 (2^96). Validate the encoded value against TickMath's interval and exercise initialization using the manifest value; the existing lifecycle tests instead hardcode 2^96.

Reproduced offline on a local Cancun EVM with the repository's compiled v4-core PoolManager and ManumissionToken, and ManumissionHook constructed at address 0x00000000000000000000000000000000001010cc with that manager.

      On a fresh manager, call initialize(PoolKey(currency0=address(0), currency1=address(token), fee=3000, tickSpacing=60, hooks=IHooks(hook)), uint160(1)), reading 1 directly from launch.json.

Expected: the declared launch initializes successfully and afterInitialize records launchPool.

      Actual: revert InvalidSqrtPrice(1), returndata 0x614875240000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001.

Control call on the same fresh manager with sqrtPriceX96=79228162514264337593543950336 succeeds and returns tick 0.

    #626Audit flowClaude1 finding · 1 high
    afterBuild contract project

The findings file is valid and the snippet matches launch.json:24 exactly. The scratch directory is removed and the tree is clean apart from .imd-findings.json.

Review complete. One substantiated defect, written to .imd-findings.json with a 14-row coverage record.

Finding (high): launch.json sets pool.initialPrice to "1". The manifest schema defines that field as the decimal sqrtPriceX96 handed to PoolManager.initialize, and v4-core rejects any value below 4295128739 with InvalidSqrtPrice. Since the factory deploys the token and hook and initializes the pool in one transaction, the whole launch reverts. The README itself says the intended value is 2^96. I confirmed this on a real PoolManager: initializing with 1 reverts, initializing with 2^96 succeeds. The fix is a one-line manifest change plus tightening the local checker, which currently accepts fractional strings the schema forbids. The author should also confirm the economics of a 1:1 start with a 1e27 supply before choosing the number.

Control-flow area (Execution Trace, Periphery, First Principles): no defects found. I traced all seven hook entry points and five token entry points against v4-core 1.0.2 source and probed the live PoolManager with scratch tests:

    • Both before-swap fee modes and both after-swap fee modes settle to zero deltas, and the partial-fill revert uses the raw pool delta as the hook assumes.
    • Fee claims stay backed by manager ETH even after every LP withdraws, so the 2.8 ETH redemption in manumit cannot fail for lack of balance.
    • The unlock callback is reachable only through the hook's own unlock, guarded by the one-shot transient flag.
    • Fallback burns use the start-of-block anchor, the anchor cannot leave the TickMath range, and a manipulated plain pool blocks burns rather than draining them.
    • The ledger invariant holds on every writer of totalFees, creatorPaid and burnSpent.

Static-analysis leads were checked and not promoted: the reentrancy flags in manumit are covered by the transient lock, and the uninitialized-local and unused-return lines are benign.

    • highlaunch.json pool.initialPrice "1" is an invalid sqrtPriceX96: the launch pool cannot be initializedlaunch.json:24

The manifest schema defines pool.initialPrice as the decimal sqrtPriceX96 the deployer passes to PoolManager.initialize. The committed value is the string "1". v4-core 1.0.2 Pool.initialize calls TickMath.getTickAtSqrtPrice(sqrtPriceX96), which reverts with InvalidSqrtPrice for any value below MIN_SQRT_PRICE = 4295128739 (lib/v4-core/src/libraries/TickMath.sol).

The factory deploys the token and hook and initializes the native pool in one transaction (README.md 130-133, docs/OPERATIONS.md step 4), so the whole launch transaction reverts and nothing is deployed.

README.md lines 124-128 state that "1" is meant as one FREE1376 per ETH and that the intended sqrtPriceX96 is 2^96 = 79228162514264337593543950336, which is the number the manifest field has to carry; the README's request that the deployer "confirm the launcher's price convention" does not change the field's defined meaning.

The local checker docs/check_manifest.py line 27 accepts any decimal string including fractions, which is looser than the schema pattern ^(0|[1-9][0-9]{0,77})$ and does not validate the TickMath range, so it did not catch this.

Fix: write the intended sqrtPriceX96 (79228162514264337593543950336 for a 1:1 price with both tokens at 18 decimals) in launch.json, and tighten check_manifest.py to require an integer in [4295128739, MAX_SQRT_PRICE). Note for the author when choosing that number: with 1e27 FREE1376 minted, a 1 FREE1376 per ETH start values the full supply at 1e9 ETH; confirm that is the intended launch price before fixing the field.

No Foundry proof is attached: the test tree has no fs_permissions, so a Solidity test cannot read launch.json and would not flip from fail to pass when the manifest is corrected; the reproduction below is a one-line call on the real PoolManager.

State: fresh PoolManager, ManumissionHook deployed at a 0x10CC address with that manager, ManumissionToken deployed; key = PoolKey(ETH, FREE1376, 3000, 60, hook) exactly as the manifest describes.

      Call: manager.initialize(key, uint160(1)) — i.e. the manifest's initialPrice parsed as sqrtPriceX96.

Actual: revert TickMath.InvalidSqrtPrice(1); the hook's afterInitialize never runs and launchPoolSet stays false; inside the factory's atomic transaction the deploy is rolled back.

Expected: the pool initializes at the intended price and afterInitialize sets launchPool.

Control: manager.initialize(key, 79228162514264337593543950336) succeeds and launchPoolSet becomes true.

Verified offline with a scratch test (test/scratch/Probe.t.sol::test_manifestInitialPriceOneRevertsOnRealManager) that asserts vm.expectRevert(abi.encodeWithSelector(TickMath.InvalidSqrtPrice.selector, uint160(1))) on manager.initialize(key, 1) and then initializes successfully at 1<<96.

afterBuild contract project, Write foundry tests, Manifest, Audit math, Audit permissions, Audit economics, Audit flow

Review complete. The findings file is written and validated, with every snippet anchored to the tree.

Specialists' finding is already resolved. All four reported the same defect: launch.json initialPrice "1" is below the v4 minimum sqrtPriceX96 and would make the atomic launch revert. Commit 3f967eb already replaced it with 2^96. I reproduced the fix on the real vendored PoolManager in a scratch test: initialize at the committed value returns tick 0 and sets launchPool, while initialize at 1 still reverts with InvalidSqrtPrice(1). I merged the four reports into one and did not re-open it.

What I kept, all low or info:

    • Low, README.md line 125. The README still tells the deployer the manifest's initial price is the literal "1" and to confirm the price convention. The manifest and OPERATIONS.md now say 2^96. The fix left the README contradicting the manifest.
    • Low, docs/check_manifest.py line 27. The repository's own manifest checker validates initialPrice with a regex that accepts fractions, leading zeros, and out-of-range integers. It passed the original broken value, and would still pass "1.5" or "0.5", which the schema rejects. It needs the schema pattern plus the TickMath range check.
    • Info, launch.json line 24. One FREE1376 per ETH prices the full supply at 1e9 ETH and needs 140 ETH of buy volume to fund the ransom. The value is valid and initializes correctly. This is recorded only so the author confirms it is a deliberate choice.

Own pass found no code defect. I traced all twelve entry points and marked each as holds. Key checks: v4-core passes the raw swap delta to afterSwap, so the PartialFill comparison against amountSpecified plus fee is exact. Both before-swap and after-swap fee modes settle to zero deltas on the real manager, and fees accrue as claims even with a token-only seed. The claims invariant holds through manumit and burnIMD because burnable excludes the reserved ransom. The transient lock, the one-shot unlock slot, the seat burial path, the fallback anchor stepping, and the status strings all match the spec. The full suite of 68 tests passes offline and formatting is clean.

The slither and aderyn reentrancy leads on manumit do not reproduce: state is written after the NFT call, but the transient lock blocks every re-entrant path and a non-standard callback can only trigger ordinary fee-paying swaps.

    • lowREADME still says launch.json initialPrice is "1"; the committed manifest carries 2^96README.md:125

All four specialists reported that launch.json pool.initialPrice "1" is below TickMath.MIN_SQRT_PRICE (4295128739) and makes PoolManager.initialize revert with InvalidSqrtPrice(1).

That defect was fixed in commit 3f967eb, which set launch.json line 24 to "79228162514264337593543950336" (2^96) and rewrote the notes accordingly; I reproduced the fix on the real vendored PoolManager (initialize at the manifest value returns tick 0 and sets launchPoolSet, initialize at 1 still reverts InvalidSqrtPrice(1)). The specialists' finding is therefore resolved and is not re-opened.

What the fix left behind is README.md lines 124-128, which still tell the deployer that the manifest's initial price is the literal string "1" and ask them to confirm 'the launcher's price convention'. docs/OPERATIONS.md line 13 and the launch.json notes already state 2^96. A deployer or reviewer reading the README is told the manifest holds a value it no longer holds, which is exactly the confusion that produced the original defect.

Fix: replace the paragraph with the sqrtPriceX96 value actually committed (79228162514264337593543950336, one FREE1376 per ETH at 18/18 decimals) and drop the 'confirm the convention' sentence, since the schema defines the field as decimal sqrtPriceX96.

State: the committed tree at 62120f2.

Read README.md line 125: it says the initial price is the explicit assumption "1".

      Read launch.json line 24: "initialPrice": "79228162514264337593543950336".

Expected: README describes the value the manifest carries.

Actual: README describes the pre-fix value "1", which the real PoolManager rejects (vm.expectRevert(abi.encodeWithSelector(TickMath.InvalidSqrtPrice.selector, uint160(1))) on manager.initialize(key, 1) passes; initialize(key, 79228162514264337593543950336) succeeds with tick 0 and hook.launchPoolSet() == true, verified in test/scratch/Judge.t.sol::test_manifestPriceInitializesLaunchPool).

    • lowdocs/check_manifest.py accepts initialPrice values the schema and TickMath reject, so it could not catch the "1" defectdocs/check_manifest.py:27

The repository's own offline manifest checker, which README.md lists as a build step, validates pool.initialPrice with the regex [0-9]+(?:.[0-9]+)? and nothing else. The LaunchManifest schema requires ^(0|[1-9][0-9]{0,77})$ (no fractions, no leading zeros), and PoolManager.initialize additionally requires MIN_SQRT_PRICE (4295128739) <= value < MAX_SQRT_PRICE (1461446703485210103287273052203988822378723970342).

The checker therefore printed 'launch.json schema and flags 0x10CC, compiler configuration: OK' for the original manifest value "1", which the schema accepts but the PoolManager rejects, and it also passes "1.5", "0.5" and "01", which the schema refuses outright. The checker is the only local gate on this field and gives false assurance.

      Fix: require re.fullmatch(r"0|[1-9][0-9]{0,77}", value) and 4295128739 <= int(value) < 1461446703485210103287273052203988822378723970342.

      Run python3 -c 'import re; print([bool(re.fullmatch(r"[0-9]+(?:.[0-9]+)?", v)) for v in ["1","1.5","0.5","01"]])' -> [True, True, True, True].

Against the schema pattern ^(0|[1-9][0-9]{0,77})$ the same inputs give [True, False, False, False], and against the TickMath range all four are invalid (1 < 4295128739).

Expected: the checker fails for every value the schema or PoolManager would refuse.

      Actual: it passes all four; with launch.json set to the pre-fix value "1" (commit 1957a42) python3 docs/check_manifest.py exits 0 while manager.initialize(key, 1) reverts InvalidSqrtPrice(1).

    • infoLaunch price of one FREE1376 per ETH values the 1e27 supply at 1e9 ETH; confirm this is the intended seed pricelaunch.json:24

Not a code defect: the value is a valid sqrtPriceX96 and initializes the pool (verified on the real PoolManager). It is recorded because the economics it encodes are extreme and the notes themselves call it 'an assumed launch price, not a market-price observation'. At tick 0 one FREE1376 costs one ETH, so the full 1e27 (one billion tokens at 18 decimals) supply is priced at 1e9 ETH, and the 2.8 ETH ransom needs 140 ETH of gross buy volume at 2%.

The factory seeds the policy's token allocation single-sided above this price, so the first buyer pays 1 ETH per token. The author should confirm this is the intended launch price before deployment; nothing in the brief fixes it.

      sqrtPriceX96 = 2^96 -> price = (2^96/2^96)^2 = 1 token1 per token0, i.e. 1 FREE1376 per 1 ETH with both at 18 decimals.

      Supply 1e27 / 1e18 = 1e9 tokens x 1 ETH = 1e9 ETH fully-diluted.

      Ransom 2.8 ETH / 0.02 = 140 ETH of specified buy volume.

Expected: a deliberate launch choice recorded as such.

Actual: the manifest notes and OPERATIONS.md say it is assumed, not chosen; no defect in code.
