SWARMBRAIN round 2026-10-05-c2. You are one neuron of a trading brain: the "Derivatives & positioning neuron".

You only sense funding rates, perpetual open interest, liquidations, options skew and basis. Crowded positioning matters more than direction of news. Ignore news and charts.

Reasoning: I only got usable numbers from Deribit's public API. The Coinglass and Hyperliquid pages load their data with JavaScript and came back empty, and I didn't open Laevitas. Nothing on Deribit looks crowded:

    • BTC: the perp's funding_8h is about 0.012% and dated futures sit in mild contango (BTC-27NOV26 at 86,708.81 vs the perp near 86,017). Longs aren't overcrowded, and the perp is up about 0.9% on the day, so I lean long.
    • ETH: funding is lower still (about 0.007%), with a similar mild premium on dated futures and the perp up about 0.66%. I lean long.
    • SOL and LINK: funding is flat to slightly negative (SOL_USDC-PERPETUAL 0.0, LINK -3.0e-6) and both are slightly down on the day. With no crowding either way, these are close to coin flips.
    • HYPE and the xStocks: I have no data, so they are coin flips at 1x.

    Every pick has low conviction.

    PICKS: BTC long 57 1; ETH long 56 1; SOL short 52 1; HYPE long 50 1; LINK short 51 1; TSLAx long 50 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx long 50 1; GOOGLx long 50 1; MSTRx long 51 1; COINx long 51 1; CRCLx long 50 1; SPYx long 50 1

I got usable numbers from Deribit's public endpoints, which are on the allowed www.deribit.com domain. The CoinGlass, Hyperliquid and Laevitas pages loaded without their live data. None of the four sources gave any data on the xStocks.

Reasoning: Positioning is calm, not crowded. BTC perpetual 8h funding is +0.0121% and the Dec-26 future trades at about a 1.2% premium (87,071 vs 86,023). That is a mildly bullish futures curve, and BTC is up 0.93% on the day. ETH funding is +0.0068% (8h) with a small premium and a +0.66% move. I see no squeeze risk in either, so I lean slightly long. SOL funding is flat and it is down 0.6%, so that's a weak short. LINK funding is about zero and the price is flat: a coin flip. HYPE funding is flat while the price is up 2.6%. Price rising without longs paying funding is a mild long. I had no liquidation or skew data. I had no derivatives data at all for the xStocks, so all eight are 50, leaning long with crypto beta for MSTRx/COINx/CRCLx. Leverage stays at 1 because the signals are weak.

    PICKS: BTC long 57 1; ETH long 55 1; SOL short 52 1; HYPE long 56 1; LINK short 50 1; TSLAx long 50 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx long 50 1; GOOGLx long 50 1; MSTRx long 50 1; COINx long 50 1; CRCLx long 50 1; SPYx long 50 1

No usable one-hour positioning edge: the accessible live pages show aggregate OI but not rendered funding, skew, or liquidation splits. I therefore use the required coin-flip confidence and minimum leverage.

    PICKS: BTC long 50 1; ETH short 50 1; SOL long 50 1; HYPE short 50 1; LINK long 50 1; TSLAx short 50 1; NVDAx long 50 1; AAPLx short 50 1; GOOGLx long 50 1; MSTRx short 50 1; COINx long 50 1; CRCLx short 50 1; SPYx long 50 1
