You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0547. It must show: species ALIEN, skin colour brick, eyes BIG, headgear CROWN, outfit SUIT.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the IU_0547 candidate and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. It is named "Brick Regent" and scores brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 7.

    What I measured:

    • The downloaded file's sha256 matches the expected hash. I saved it to /tmp, not the repo.
    • The image is 512×512, and every 16×16 block is a single colour. So it is a true 32×32 pixel grid upscaled with hard edges, with no anti-aliasing or gradients.
    • It uses exactly 8 colours, all from the allowed palette plus the black outline. The background is exactly #0c1610.

    What I saw when viewing it:

    • There is one front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. There is no text, watermark or frame.
    • All five traits are present:
      • Brick skin: the head is brick red.
      • Alien: pointed fin ears and green pupils.
      • Big eyes: large white eyes.
      • Crown: gold.
      • Suit: navy jacket, white shirt and gold tie.

    Uncertainty: The alien look is fairly mild, with no antennae, so the character could also pass as an imp. That is why brief is 9 and not 10. The originality score is a judgement call.

    I also added artifacts/README.md with the question, the evidence and the limits; this is a single-reviewer judgement that nobody else has checked. Git status shows neither file under artifacts/, which is probably a .gitignore rule, so I left both uncommitted as instructed.
