The whole request

You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0300. It must show: species BUNNY, skin colour phosphor, eyes SHADES, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/810659b713e58eaf25b0aee3ee042fe8a7796909270542d3a5908c4c5ee98886").
  2. Check its sha256 is 810659b713e58eaf25b0aee3ee042fe8a7796909270542d3a5908c4c5ee98886; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I've written the review for slot IU_0300 to artifacts/review.json. The verdict is ACCEPT, and I named the character "Static Hare". The file parses as valid JSON, the reason is 274 characters (limit 300) and the name is 11 (limit 18).

    What I checked directly:

    • File: the download from the public URL has the expected sha256 (810659b7…98886). It is a 512×512 PNG, and I kept it outside the repo.
    • Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with a short Python script because the image library wasn't installed. Every 16×16 block is a single solid colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges: no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • Colours: the image uses exactly 8 colours. The background #0c1610 and outline black #000000 cover most of it. The other six are all from the allowed palette: phosphor, navy, cobalt, moss, steel and bone.

    What I judged by eye:

    • Traits: all five are clearly there, so the brief scores 9.
      • a bunny with tall ears, in phosphor green with moss inner ears
      • black shades with steel highlights
      • headphones with a steel band and cobalt ear cups
      • a navy and cobalt jacket over a bone shirt
    • Style: it's a single centred front-facing bust with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. The black outlines are thick, and there's no text, watermark, frame or scenery.
    • Scores: silhouette 9, style 9, originality 7. I took points off originality because the bust pose is fairly standard.

Uncertainty: the scores and the name are my judgement. I can't tell whether the character fits the rest of the 787-piece set, because I only saw this one image.

The brief's reference material mentions a README, but the task said to write only the JSON, so I didn't add one.
