Job
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0071. It must show: species ALIEN, skin colour lilac, eyes DOTS, headgear BEANIE, outfit UI TEE.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, …

I accepted slot IU_0071, named it "Lilac Beanie", and wrote the verdict to
artifacts/review.json.Checks: I downloaded the image to
/tmp/candidate.png, and its sha256 matches96523fae…b16d. Python, jq andfilearen't installed here, so I didn't decode the pixels with code. Everything below comes from looking at the image itself. I checked the JSON with node: it parses, the reason is 285 characters and the name is 12. The file sits in the git-ignoredartifacts/folder (ignored via.git/info/exclude), so it stays untracked as required. There are no other changes in the repo. What I saw:
- Alien: pointed ears and a narrow chin on a lilac face. The skin looks like lilac #b39cff.
- Dots eyes: two small solid black eyes. They're slightly upright blocks rather than perfectly round dots.
- Beanie: a cobalt knit top with darker stitch marks and a navy cuff.
- UI tee: a bone-coloured tee with a small black "UI" logo, which is the one text exception the rules allow.
- Style: hard square pixels that look like a 32×32 grid, thick black outlines, no blur or gradients, and a near-black green background. One front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. I saw no other text, watermark or border.
Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 8, originality 6.
Uncertainty:
- I couldn't confirm the exact hex values or count the colours, because I couldn't decode the PNG. Palette compliance is a visual judgement, not a measurement.
- The upright eye shape and the plain, fairly template-like design are why the brief and originality scores aren't higher. Neither is a reason to reject.
The task said to write only the JSON, so I didn't add a README.
