Build Squeek Relay — a polished, playable multiplayer hamster relay race for Squeekchain (NOT a dashboard). Core fantasy: every player on Earth shares ONE real hamster motor (Squeektoshi). When he runs, the whole track surges; when he sleeps, the track ices over and everyone slows to a crawl.

Must use live Squeekchain public APIs (CORS-friendly):

Gameplay (must feel fun in 10 seconds):

  1. Title screen with hamster motif, one-tap Play as guest (local nick) and optional wallet connect (sign message only, no gas) for leaderboard identity.
  2. Side-scrolling relay track with pixel/vector hamster runners. Player controls: Left/Right or A/D to lane-change, Space/tap to boost (boost meter recharges only while hamster is RUNNING — this is the clever hook).
  3. Relay batons spawn ahead; grab to score combo. Collide with ice patches / sleepy obstacles when hamster sleeps.
  4. Session = one Squeekchain 10-minute round window when possible, else 90-second heat. Score = distance (meters) × combo, shown as 'meters ridden with Squeektoshi'.
  5. Live shared leaderboard for the current heat (localStorage + optional simple serverless-free approach: purely client leaderboard is OK for v1 if clearly labeled 'this device'; prefer a lightweight public write if easy without backend secrets).
  6. Spectator ticker: big LIVE badge, real RPM number, work units ticking, 'HE'S RUNNING' / 'HE'S SLEEPING' banner that flips instantly with API.

Visuals/audio: dark dotted-grid Squeekchain aesthetic (gold + blue accents), juicy juice animations, short squeak SFX, optional mute. Mobile + desktop.

Hard rules / not allowed:

  • Do NOT ship a read-only status page, chart dashboard, or whitepaper clone.
  • Do NOT require private keys, seed phrases, or mainnet payments to play.
  • Do NOT invent fake chain data; if API fails, show reconnect state and pause scoring honestly.
  • English UI primary; short Chinese subtitle on title OK.

Delivery: single polished static website on IPFS via the site label, works on eth.limo. Include a short How it works blurb naming the Squeekchain APIs used.

Acceptance: a stranger can play a full heat without instructions; speed visibly follows live RPM; sleep freezes the track; boost only while running.

    Recorded in .imd-findings.json:

    • bug: Accepted long runner names clip off the phone track.
    • accessibility: At 200% text size, feedback overlaps the countdown and results clip their heading and buttons.

Chromium and WebKit gameplay passed. A complete heat using live APIs finished and persisted after reload. Controlled responses verified RPM scaling, sleep friction, boost restrictions, obstacle collisions, stale data, failure, and reconnect. Real wallet signing was not performed; its prompt and implementation were reviewed.

    • mediumbug: permitted runner names are clipped off the phone tracksrc/game/render.ts:404

Now: The form accepts 18 characters, but the runner label caps its background at 150px and centers the full name on the runner near the left canvas edge. Wide names lose their leading characters and extend beyond the gold label.

Change to: Size the label to the measured text width plus 18px, clamp its center between tagW / 2 + 4 and w - tagW / 2 - 4, and use that same center for both the label and fillText. Keep the complete name at the existing font size.

Why: A visitor’s runner identity must remain readable; accepted names should not be clipped or lose contrast during the main game.

At 390×844, enter WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW (18 W characters) in Runner name and tap Play as guest.

The issue occurs with either live RUNNING or IDLE data.

The track is 356px wide, playerX is 81.88px, and the 12px Outfit name measures 208.56px, so fillText starts at x = -22.40px and the canvas cuts off 22.40px.

The gold label is only 150px wide, leaving 58.56px of name outside its background.

At 320×844 the text starts at -36.66px.

Expected: every accepted character stays inside a readable label within the track.

    • mediumaccessibility: game overlays overlap and clip content at 200% textsrc/styles.css:653

Now: Absolute positioning prevents game overlays from reflowing at 200% text size. Race feedback covers the countdown; the finished heat panel centers content taller than its fixed available height, clipping its heading and action buttons inside .scene.

Change to: Put .race-feedback in normal flow after .combo-indicator with margin-top: 16px, removing its absolute position, top and inset-inline rules and mobile top override. Override .finish-cover to position: relative; inset: auto; min-height: 470px so its content grows the scene instead of overflowing a fixed inset box. Keep the existing font sizes and full result copy.

Why: Enlarging text must preserve readable timing, results and reachable replay controls; primary game content must neither overlap nor be clipped.

At 390×844 in Chromium, keep the default Tiny Runner name, select 90s quick heat, set html:root { font-size: 200% } (computed 32px), and tap Play as guest with fresh RUNNING data.

The initial feedback occupies x33/y473.98/w324/h144 while the countdown occupies x61.55/y470.59/w146.89/h72: 146.89×68.61px overlaps.

Complete the 90-second fallback heat (or install Playwright clock before navigation and fastForward 91,000ms after starting).

In the result state .scene clips to y160–660, while .finish-heading spans y90.22–205.41, .finish-actions y587.80–709.80, and Back to the burrow y717.80–761.80.

Scrolling the page cannot expose text clipped by .scene.

Expected: the timer, full result heading and all result actions remain separately readable and reachable at 200% text size.
