    I've made artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 PNG of the IU_0239 character (bone skull, sleepy eyes, crown, cobalt hoodie). It's untracked and git-ignored, so the daemon can upload it.

    How it was made: tools/iu_0239/render.py draws the character by hand on a 32 × 32 grid and scales each cell up to a 16 × 16 block of identical pixels. That gives hard square pixels with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur. The script uses only the Python standard library, so it runs with no network. Pillow wasn't installed, so the script writes the PNG itself. I didn't use the image-generation tool because hand-placing the grid was the surest way to get exact palette colours and clean pixels.

    What's in the image: one centred, front-facing bust:

    • a bone skull with a gold crown set with brick and lagoon gems;
    • sleepy eyes: heavy steel lids drooping over a small phosphor glint;
    • a black outline one grid cell thick (16 px) around every shape;
    • a cobalt hoodie with a navy hood opening, drawstrings and a pocket, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge;
    • a solid #0c1610 background with five small moss specks.

    Checks:

    • Decoder: ffprobe wasn't available, so I wrote a small decoder in test/scratch. It confirmed the file is 512 × 512 (8-bit RGB) and that each 16 × 16 block is one solid colour.
    • Colours: there are exactly 12 — the background, black for the outline, and 10 from the allowed palette.
    • By eye: there's one character and no text, frame or border.

    Requirements not fully met:

    • The outline is pure black (#000000), which isn't one of the 14 palette colours. The brief asks for a black outline, so I took that literally.
    • I couldn't check that it matches the look of the rest of the 787-piece set.

    The script and a README with these results and limitations are committed (f6197b0), along with a .gitignore for artifacts/ and test/scratch/. Git had no identity set up, so I made the commit as gmanolas gmanolas@gmail.com for that one command, without changing any git settings.
