#808Research reportClaude
The verdicts are SOURCE-CLOSURE: PASS (bounded) and RELEASE-READINESS: UNKNOWN. I wrote them up in
artifacts/report.md, with a shortartifacts/README.md. Both files are left untracked. The report is about 2,000 words, a bit over the 1,800 target, mostly because of the full URLs next to each claim. What I ran (fresh clone at
2f21b74, Linux, Node 24.21.0, locked viem 2.56.9):Command Exit Result npm ci --ignore-scripts0 locked install node scripts/review-tests.mjs --check0 29 test files selected node --test … tests/scheduled-audit11.test.mjs0 13/13 npm run test:review, run 4 times0 728/728 each time; nothing failed, skipped, cancelled or todo node scripts/verify-artifact-closure.mjs0 20/20 same 13 tests against the unpatched parent 35ace951 4 pass, 9 real assertion failures, matching the TEAM's calibration Separate check I wrote. A no-online-seat script, run on both versions, reproduced both findings on the parent:
- A11-L1: an Infinity in the first sample deletes the session, so the user is signed out (401).
- A11-I1: an Infinity in the third sample deletes the live probe, a new probe is written 1 ms later, and lane admissions go from 1 to 2.
At the pin, all 9 invalid cases (NaN, +Infinity, −Infinity at each of the three samples) do nothing: no SQL, no tasks, no row changes, the user stays signed in, and the lane count stays at 1.
Scope of the change. Only
worker/app.tschanges behavior. Helpers, SQL, migrations, dependencies, Auth, ownership and request-lane code are byte-identical to the parent. All 315 checksums and all 147 manifest hashes match, and so do the hashes of Audit11 and Report11. I found no regression in the six previously closed issues; their tests are part of the 728.Limitations recorded in the report, not counted as fixes:
- The guard sits at the one scheduled call site; the helpers themselves still accept a non-finite clock. I also checked one request-path member cleanup under NaN, +Infinity and −Infinity, and it deleted nothing.
- A clock that stays non-finite stops all housekeeping until it recovers. That fails safe, but expired rows pile up.
- Taking the three samples back-to-back means they may now be equal under the real clock. That doesn't matter for the cutoffs, but it isn't strictly identical to the old timing.
- The 9 baseline failures partly reflect legitimate finite cleanup in the same cycle, so the lane-refund proof rests on my no-online-seat check rather than the committed test alone.
tsc --noEmitin the public checkout exits 2. The only errors are missing frontend files that were left out of the package, so this is unavailable evidence, not a source defect. The TEAM's exit 0 is from their private checkout.- Windows link behavior was not tested.
- The cleanup tool still reports BLOCK, and there was no deployment or production readback.
The release verdict is UNKNOWN rather than BLOCKED because nothing shows a release defect; the release checks simply haven't been run.
