Build and publish Squeek DJ, one finished, original browser rhythm game for the Squeekchain Genesis Code lane. It is NOT a dashboard, explorer, tracker, landing page, token page, prediction market, or thin API wrapper, and it must not copy any existing Squeekchain project.

The game: a 4-lane rhythm game whose tempo is set by Squeektoshi's real wheel. Poll GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status about every 3 seconds and convert the live RPM (measurement.rpmMilli / 1000) into the song tempo, clamped to 48–176 BPM. Notes fall on the beat toward four lanes; the player taps D / F / J / K or on-screen touch pads in time. Judgement windows: Perfect within 60 ms, Good within 130 ms, Miss after that. Track score, streak, best streak and an energy bar. Show a live HUD with the real wheel status: core status, RPM, current BPM, distance covered tonight (measurement.distanceMm), block height and settled round, plus a clear stale/offline indicator when the feed is old or unreachable. Never fake live data. If the hamster is idle (coreStatus IDLE or RPM 0) and stays idle, end the set and show a summary with the real distance the wheel covered while the set lasted. Add a clearly labelled Practice mode at a fixed 100 BPM for when the wheel is still. Sound is Web Audio blips, off by default with a persisted toggle. Save the best score in localStorage. Respect prefers-reduced-motion.

Rules: no wallet connect, no keys, no tokens, no contracts, no payments, no backend, no account. English only. Deliver a working hosted IPFS-friendly static site, the full public source, and a README. The README's first paragraph must state that this is a community project, must include the sentence "Squeek DJ is a community project for the Squeekchain Buildooooor badge.", must explain how to run it, and must leave a line for the canonical IMD job URL. Do not promise a badge or whitelist. The customer pays this first job from a wallet already verified on their Squeekchain Genesis profile.

Saved three findings in .imd-findings.json, with exact source snippets, fixes, and reproductions:

    • High — bug: A frozen response remains “Live” across 44 polls over 129 seconds. Preserve observation age between polls and account for response age.
    • High — fidelity: The required README is absent, including its community paragraph, required sentence, run instructions, and canonical job URL line.
    • Medium — bug: Ending while paused counts the current pause in set length. Briefly resuming first excludes that same time.

Chromium and WebKit both passed touch play, pause/resume, help, and persistence checks. Controlled feed tests verified the BPM cap and distance calculation. The “faked” count below concerns the incorrect freshness label.

    • highfidelity: the required README and run instructions are missingsrc/App.tsx:472

Now: The community-project sentence appears in the page footer, but the submitted tree contains no README. The requested first paragraph, run instructions, and canonical IMD job URL line are absent.

Change to: Add README.md with a first paragraph stating that this is a community project and containing exactly "Squeek DJ is a community project for the Squeekchain Buildooooor badge." Include the supported local run/build commands and a line reserved for the canonical IMD job URL.

Why: The brief explicitly requires a README with these contents; the footer does not provide the source handoff documentation.

Width: any (page verified at 390px).

From the repository root run git ls-files -- "README" "readme": it returns no files.

The required sentence is rendered in src/App.tsx and the help dialog, but no README exists.

Expected: a README with a community-project first paragraph, the exact required sentence, local run instructions, and a canonical IMD job URL line; actual: zero README files and none of that required README content.

    • highbug: a frozen old feed is labelled Live and enables live setssrc/lib/feed.ts:41

Now: Freshness measures observedAt only against generatedAt, then resets the age whenever the response is received. A frozen response whose two timestamps are both ten minutes old is labelled Live / Measured 1 s ago and enables Start live set. Repeated delivery of the same response continually refreshes it.

Change to: Include response age at receipt: add max(0, Date.now() - generatedAt) to the server-side observation age. For an unchanged observation timestamp and counter epoch, retain its previous age plus monotonic elapsed time instead of resetting it on every poll. Keep observations older than staleAfterSeconds Stale and live starts disabled until a newer observation arrives.

Why: The brief requires a clear stale/offline indicator when the feed is old and prohibits presenting stale measurements as live.

      Width: 390px, Chromium, serve dist/.

      Intercept GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status and repeatedly fulfill HTTP 200 with generatedAt=new Date(Date.now()-600000).toISOString(), measurement={freshness:"online",observedAt:new Date(Date.now()-601000).toISOString(),staleAfterSeconds:120,counterEpoch:"one",coreStatus:"RUNNING",rpmMilli:100000,distanceMm:100000}, builder={anchor:{blockHeight:"2110",settledThroughRound:"591"}}.

Actual HUD: Live, Measured 1 s ago, RPM 100.0, BPM 100; Start live set is enabled.

Expected: Stale because the observation is about 601 seconds old, exceeding the 120-second threshold.

A second test installed the browser clock before navigation, served one initially fresh fixed response through 44 successful polls, and advanced 129,353 ms: the HUD still said Live / Measured 1 s ago and the live-start button remained enabled.

    • mediumbug: ending a paused set includes time that resuming would excludesrc/App.tsx:110

Now: End set calculates duration using pausedTotal, but the current pause is added to pausedTotal only by Resume. Ending while paused therefore counts the current pause as set length; resuming for an instant removes that same time.

Change to: When ending a paused set, use pausedAt.current as the end timestamp (or subtract the outstanding pause duration) before calculating durationMs.

Why: The summary should report the same played duration for the same play time, regardless of whether Resume was pressed immediately before ending.

Width: 390x844, Chromium, serve dist/ and use Practice at 100 BPM.

Start, immediately press Escape, wait 5.2 seconds, then click End set: Set length is 0:05.

Start another practice, immediately pause, wait the same 5.2 seconds, click Resume, immediately pause again, then End set: Set length is 0:00.

No notes are hit or missed in either case.

Expected: approximately 0:00 in both paths because almost all elapsed time was paused; actual: the first path counts the pause.

  4. Build websiteAgent #181419 files changedsent back

Fixed all three findings and rebuilt dist/. Added README, design documentation, and .imd-responses.json.

Typecheck, production build, 24 tests, and Chromium interaction checks passed. Submission totals 707 KB.

Documented limitations: pre-existing 320px overflow, unavailable WebKit libraries, and live API connectivity failing in Chromium despite succeeding from Node.

All three previous findings are fixed:

    • README: The required sentence, community statement, run commands and canonical job URL placeholder are present.
    • Frozen feed: A 601-second-old observation displays Stale and disables live starts. An initially fresh observation also becomes Stale after 44 repeated polls; a newer observation restores Live.
    • Paused duration: Both original reproductions now report 0:00 after a 5.2-second pause.

One confirmed finding is recorded in .imd-findings.json:

High — bug: the header pushes How to play outside the 320px viewport. At 320×700, the document measures 341px wide and the help button ends at x=341.03, clipping its right edge. Reduce narrow-screen header spacing and reuse the 16px body size for the brand. Applying those values temporarily in Chromium produced a 320px document with the help button ending at x=312.

    • highbug: the header pushes How to play outside the 320px viewportsrc/styles.css:117

Now: At 320px the non-wrapping brand and utilities exceed the header width, leaving the right edge of How to play outside the screen and creating horizontal scrolling.

Change to: In a max-width: 22rem media rule, set .topbar padding-inline to var(--space-2) and gap to var(--space-1), and set .brand font-size to var(--text-body). Keep both utility controls visible and the game in its existing position.

Why: The responsive layout must fit a 320px viewport without horizontal scrolling or clipping a help control.

Width: 320×700 CSS pixels, Chromium, mobile/touch context, deviceScaleFactor 1.

Serve dist/, open the root page, and abort GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status to reach Offline (the same header is present with a live feed).

Do not scroll. document.documentElement.clientWidth is 320, but scrollWidth is 341; .utilities button:last-child has x=218.40625, width=122.625 and right=341.03125, putting 21.03px of How to play beyond the viewport.

The screenshot cuts the label at the right edge.

The unmodified taste@1 probe independently reports 320px: page is 341px wide and button.btn.btn-ghost:nth-of-type(2) ends at 341px.

Expected: the full help control remains within the viewport and scrollWidth equals 320; actual: 21px horizontal overflow.

  6. Build websiteAgent #6510 files changed

Fixed the 320px header overflow and rebuilt dist/. Both utility controls fit; game placement is unchanged.

Typecheck, all 24 tests, and interaction checks at six widths passed. Updated documentation and .imd-responses.json.

The design probe passed 15/16 checks; existing hint clipping remains outside this header revision.

This round I re-checked last round's finding and re-ran the probe. I did not walk the brief's requirements list again.

Finding 1da0d25e (high), "the header pushes How to play outside the 320px viewport": fixed.

    • Change: a new @media (max-width: 22rem) rule at src/styles.css:655. On the smallest phones it narrows the header's side padding and gap and shrinks the brand to body size. The bundle in dist/ has been rebuilt with it.
    • Measured: at 320×700 in Chromium (mobile, touch, status feed blocked so it shows Offline), the page is 320px wide with no sideways scroll; it was 341 before. Sound spans 162–198px and How to play 202–312px, so both are fully on screen. At 390 the page is 390 wide and How to play ends at 374.
    • Screenshot at 320: brand at the left, Sound and How to play at the right, nothing cut off.
    • Probe: reports no horizontal scroll at 320, 390 or 1440, and no overlapping text.

What the probe still flags, and why I didn't file it: at 320 it says the line "Press D F J K or tap the pads as notes cross the line." is cut off by 26px. I measured it:

    • The start panel's content runs past the bottom of the game area (content 346–769px, game area 330–690px).
    • Both that hint and the "Best score … Saved in this browser." line sit below the visible part.
    • The panel is set to scroll (overflow-y: auto at src/styles.css:479), so both lines can be reached by scrolling inside it. They aren't lost.
    • The author reported the same thing as pre-existing and outside the header fix. Since the text is reachable, I don't count it as a defect.

Not checked: I couldn't run the header check in WebKit (Safari's engine) because it isn't installed here. The fix is plain CSS that WebKit supports.
