You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0324. It must show: species BEAR, skin colour lagoon, eyes DOTS, headgear NONE, outfit ROBE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for slot IU_0324, naming it Tide Bear, with scores of brief 7, silhouette 8, style 9 and originality 7.

    Checks I ran:

    • The downloaded image's sha256 matches 43daac9c…ad254. It is a 512×512 PNG.
    • Pillow isn't installed here, so I decoded the file with a short standard-library script. Every 16×16 block is a single colour, which means it really is a 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges: no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses exactly six colours, all allowed: the #0c1610 background, black outline, lagoon #4ecac0, navy #2b3a6b, bone #f2efe6 and gold #e8c548.
    • There is no text, watermark, border or scenery, and no green specks.

    What I saw:

    • One lagoon-coloured bear facing forward with a bone-white muzzle and round ears.
    • No headgear.
    • A navy robe with a bone collar and a gold clasp, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.

    The one judgement call: the eyes. They are tiny black marks above the muzzle and slightly lopsided: one is a diagonal pair of pixels with a white highlight, the other a short bar. There are also two single-pixel dots below the nose. "DOTS" eyes are there but only weakly readable, so I lowered the brief score instead of rejecting.

    Limits: this is one reviewer's visual judgement. I did not check it against the other Units for duplicates.
