Following skill-authoring/SKILL.md and skill-authoring/REFERENCE.md in this repository, write layerzero-oft/SKILL.md (and any reference files it needs) for a new identity.md network skill: configure, check and document LayerZero OFT tokens across chains: peers per endpoint id, enforced options, quoteSend for each route, a health checklist that catches a route shown in a UI but unconfigured on-chain (NoPeer), and Foundry tests against mocked endpoints.

    layerzero-oftlayerzero-oft/**README.md

Created the runnable LayerZero OFT skill, its route reference and worked example, and added the skill to the README. The example covers peer and options checks, quotes in both directions, and an unset peer reported as NoPeer.

node check-skill.mjs layerzero-oft passes. The skill uses verifier-paths with checks: none because the verifier has no OFT test suite; contributors are instructed to run Foundry tests locally.

The README and skill carry the required experimental label. CLI help and site banner files are outside the permitted paths, so I could not update them.

    #47Adversarial reviewCodex5 findings · 3 medium
    afterRefine project

    Recorded five findings in .imd-findings.json:

    • Medium: Missing network requirement; tests ignore delivered route configuration; insufficient evidence to verify route completeness.
    • Low: Worked example is absent from pinned inputs; CLI help lacks the experimental disclaimer.

Confirmed that removing a route’s peer and options in a temporary copy still leaves all four tests passing. Every finding includes a concrete reproduction and validated source snippet. Implementation files remain unchanged.

    • mediumDeclare network access for the required on-chain readslayerzero-oft/SKILL.md:9

requires is empty although the runnable body requires live peer/options reads and quoteSend calls (lines 39-41). The authoring guide explicitly requires the network capability for reading a chain (skill-authoring/SKILL.md:151-155). Consequently the catalog permits dispatch to an offline contributor who cannot complete the required route checks, even when all addresses and route facts are supplied.

Declare network, or explicitly accept pinned offline RPC evidence and provide it as a required input.

Dispatch this skill to a contributor advertising no network capability, with objective: check an existing deployed OFT route at source EID 30101 to destination EID 30102 using its supplied public RPC, OFT address and expected peer; provide no RPC response snapshots.

The empty requires list admits the worker, but it cannot read peers/enforcedOptions or execute quoteSend as lines 39-41 demand.

Expected: a network requirement prevents this dispatch, or an offline input contract supplies all required state.

    • mediumExercise the delivered configuration instead of only hard-coded mock setuplayerzero-oft/example/test/LayerZeroOFT.t.sol:58

The worked example never loads config/routes.json or calls an integration/health adapter; it sets peers and options directly on a test-only mock and asserts those same values. This contradicts SKILL.md:43 and leaves the main safety requirement untested: a UI-visible route whose source peer is missing. The NoPeer test likewise uses EID 303, which is absent from the supplied UI inventory, and asserts only a mock revert rather than inventory reconciliation or send readiness.

The example can therefore show all tests passing with a broken delivered route configuration.

Copy layerzero-oft/example to a temporary directory.

      In that copy only, set routes[1].peer in config/routes.json to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 and routes[1].optionsHex to 0x, leaving uiVisible=true for 202 -> 101.

Run forge test --root --offline -vv.

Observed: all four tests pass, including testReverseRouteIsIndependentlyConfiguredAndQuoted.

Expected: the supplied configuration is exercised, and this visible route fails its configured-route checks or is explicitly reported NoPeer/not ready.

The test instead overwrites the missing state with peerA and options before quoting.

    • mediumPersist the UI inventory and per-route evidence needed to judge completenesslayerzero-oft/SKILL.md:18

This criterion depends on every displayed route and on-chain state, but the acceptance contract requires only a checklist, configuration and tests. It does not require saving the authoritative UI inventory or a per-route observed peer/options/quote result, including failures, in the delivered files.

Although the body asks for quote inputs and block context, that requirement is not reflected in the acceptance criteria, and the worked example supplies only instructions and synthetic mock quotes. A reader cannot establish completeness against an external UI or distinguish a performed on-chain check from instructions to perform it. This is a material gap for the requested files-only review with checks: none; the structural judge cannot recover omitted evidence.

Use the supplied example as the delivered artifacts and a UI inventory containing 101 -> 202, 202 -> 101 and 101 -> 303, with the source peer for 303 unset (the state described by the example test at line 50). routes.json contains only the first two routes; docs/README.md gives a generic instruction to check every UI-visible route, with no saved inventory, block or per-route results.

A reviewer holding only those artifacts cannot determine whether route 303 was actually displayed, omitted from the audit or intentionally excluded; the same artifacts also fit a UI containing only the first two routes.

Expected: an archived inventory and keyed results/errors make the missing 101 -> 303 check and NoPeer/not-ready state directly verifiable.

    • lowShip the worked example in the pinned inputs before referring workers to itlayerzero-oft/REFERENCE.md:52

A network worker receives this reference through reads: skill:layerzero-oft, but example/ is not part of that payload. The guide explicitly says only the skill, REFERENCE.md and scripts/*.mjs travel and that other relative links do not (skill-authoring/SKILL.md:227-237). The supplied catalog compiler likewise serializes referenceContent and scripts only (check-skill.mjs:384-393).

Thus the worked-example pointer is usable in the authoring repository but broken in the actual Claude Code/Codex job. Include the necessary example material in a supported pinned input or remove the worker-facing dependency on this relative directory.

Compile layerzero-oft using the supplied readSkill implementation and dispatch it against an existing OFT project that does not contain the skill-authoring repository.

The compiled result has reads=[skill:layerzero-oft], referenceContent containing this line, and no files field because there is no scripts directory.

The worker opens .imd/reads/skills/layerzero-oft/REFERENCE.md and follows example/; none of example/config/routes.json, example/test/LayerZeroOFT.t.sol or example/docs/README.md is materialized.

Expected: the referenced worked example is available in the pinned job inputs.

    • lowExpose the required experimental disclaimer in CLI helpcheck-skill.mjs:417

The requested experimental disclaimer was added to the README but is absent from the repository CLI. The CLI has no --help handling, so the explicitly requested help surface raises a file error instead of displaying usage and the experimental warning. Handle --help and include the exact commissioned-test/no-warranty wording there; this does not require creating a site where none exists.

Run node check-skill.mjs --help from the repository root.

Observed: exit code 1 with ENOENT opening /--help/SKILL.md and no experimental disclaimer.

Running node check-skill.mjs without arguments prints only usage.

Expected: --help prints usage plus "Experimental, commissioned as a test of the IMD swarm.

It may not work as described.

Read the code, start with small amounts, no warranty."
