You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0165. It must show: species BOT, skin colour steel, eyes DOTS, headgear BEANIE, outfit OVERALLS.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I've accepted the candidate for IU_0165 and written the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The JSON parses, the reason is 272 characters (limit 300) and the name is 10 (limit 18).

    Verdict: ACCEPT, named "Visor Bolt". Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 8, originality 6.

    Checked directly:

    • I downloaded the image to /tmp/candidate.png, outside the repo. Its sha256 matches the expected hash.
    • I looked at the image itself. It shows one front-facing bot bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • All five traits are there: a steel-grey bot head (species and skin), two bright green dot eyes in a dark visor, a green beanie with a lighter highlight, and blue/navy overalls with straps over a grey shirt.
    • It looks like real pixel art on a 32×32 grid, with hard square pixels, thick black outlines and no blur or gradients. The background is solid dark green-black, and I saw no text, watermark or frame.

    Judged by eye only:

    • The palette match was by eye. The colours look like steel, moss, swamp, phosphor, cobalt, navy, bone and black, but I didn't confirm the exact hex values. Neither Python nor the file utility is installed here, so I couldn't decode the PNG and test the pixel grid or colour count with code.
    • The beanie looks a bit like a dome or helmet. I still counted it as a beanie, but that's a judgement call.

    Minor issues, not grounds for rejection:

    • The green dash in the top-left corner is larger than a "tiny speck", though it isn't scenery or text.
    • Originality got 6 because the design is fairly standard for this kind of set.

    artifacts/ is ignored by git and left uncommitted, as required, and there are no other changes or stray files in the repo.
