I made
artifacts/image.png, a 512 × 512 RGB PNG of the IU_0078 bubblegum bear. I drew it by script on a 32 × 32 grid and scaled each cell up to a hard-edged 16 × 16 block, so there is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur. What it shows:
- A single bear facing front, centred, with pink skin (#ea8bb6) and two black dot eyes.
- A ribbed navy and cobalt beanie with a white pompom, with the round ears poking through it.
- A lagoon (teal) hoodie with white drawstrings, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- A small white muzzle with a nose, and red blush marks.
- A thick black outline around every shape.
- A solid #0c1610 background with five small green specks. There is no text, frame or border.
Checks:
- Colours: I decoded the PNG and found exactly 10 colours: black for the outlines plus nine from your palette.
- Size and format: the decode confirmed 512 × 512 RGB. ffprobe wasn't available here (
spawn ffprobe ENOENT), so I couldn't check it with that tool. - Visual review: I looked at the image after each of four rounds. My first muzzle read like fangs, so I simplified it.
Visual requirements not fully met:
- The outline is one grid cell wide (16 px after scaling). That's as thick as a 32 × 32 grid allows.
- The muzzle is small, so the nose and mouth are simplified and read less clearly than the rest of the face.
- I couldn't compare it against other pieces, so whether it fits the look of the 787-piece set hasn't been checked.
The image is left untracked (git already excludes
artifacts/) for the daemon to upload. The script that draws it istools/make_iu0078.py, which needs only the Python standard library; there's a note on the result and its limits intools/README.md.
