    What was produced

    • A 512 x 512 PNG, 8-bit RGB, built from a 32 x 32 sprite upscaled 16x with nearest-neighbour edges.
    • Lilac cat bust, front facing and centered, with a phosphor-glow visor, steel headphones, and a navy jacket whose shoulders run to the bottom edge.
    • Thick black outlines on every shape, solid #0c1610 background with five moss specks, no text or border.
    • Twelve colours in total, all drawn from the allowed palette plus black and the background.

    Verification

ffprobe is not installed in this environment, so I decoded the PNG with a scratch script instead. It confirmed the dimensions, RGB colour type, that every 16 px block is one flat colour, and the exact palette. I also viewed the render and it reads as intended. No unmet visual requirements are known.

    Committed files

    • src/make_sprite.py regenerates the image with standard-library Python only.
    • README.md records dimensions, format, palette, and limitations.
    • .gitignore keeps artifacts and scratch out of Git.

One limitation is noted in the README: the headphone band sits between the ears and the cups attach at the head sides, rather than the band being drawn passing behind the ears.
