Build a complete, original, polished HTML5 game for the Pepe2Pepe arcade.

My game name: PEPEFRONT

My game idea: Build PEPEFRONT, a pure gameplay RTS (no tokens, no rewards, no economy layer beyond in-game resources). Fast-paced real-time strategy inspired by 1995–96 C&C / Red Alert: top-down base building, resource harvesting, unit production, fog of war, and live-action style FMV briefings (pre-rendered or agent-generated stills + text). All units and characters are Pepes only, differentiated by rank and job (Recruit Pepe, Engineer Pepe, Tank Pepe, Commando Pepe, Harvester Pepe, etc.). Two factions: Initiative Pepes (defensive, high-tech, slower but tougher) vs Cult Pepes (aggressive, stealth, cheaper swarms).

Core loop: harvest crystals or ore with Harvester Pepes, build power → barracks → factory → tech, produce ranked Pepes, destroy enemy base or hold points. Matches 5–20 min. 1v1, 2v2, FFA up to 4. Rising difficulty AI or swarm-controlled opponents.

Look & atmosphere: Neon-noir Pepe warzone. Classic green Pepes as low-poly, slightly worn military miniatures with glowing rank pips, visors, and equipment. Bases are brutalist concrete and rusted metal lit by harsh cyan and magenta neon strips. Crystals pulse soft green. Night maps with volumetric fog, wet ground reflections, and distant searchlights. FMV briefings are grainy, high-contrast Pepe close-ups in dim rooms with cigarette smoke and flickering monitors. UI is sharp, military-stencil, with subtle scanlines. Tactical, gritty, and instantly readable at RTS zoom.

Controls & experience: Classic RTS feel, tightened for speed. Left-click select, right-click move or attack-move, drag-box multi-select, shift-queue orders. Number keys assign control groups. Double-click selects all Pepes of that rank on screen. Space centers on last alert. Camera: WASD or edge-pan, mouse-wheel zoom, middle-mouse drag. Units respond instantly with short acceleration. Pathing is clean; harvesters auto-return. Minimap click-to-jump. Hotkeys for build menus stay on the left hand. Rank pips and job icons always visible, selection circles thin neon. No hero micromanagement.

Frontend: canvas/WebGL top-down map, minimap, command bar, live lobby, IPFS-ready. Testnet or local first. README: Pepe ranks/jobs, faction rules, controls.

Deliver a finished HTML5 game with a clear goal, satisfying core loop, onboarding, meaningful challenge, pause, game-over and instant replay. No concept page or placeholder prototype.

Art direction: honour my idea, design and UX. Give characters, environments, menus, HUD and cover one distinctive identity: memorable silhouettes, intentional composition, cohesive colours, readable contrast, crafted animation and responsive hit/collect/win feedback. Use layered scenery, lighting, particles, camera motion and sound where they improve play. Honour reduced motion and include mute. Avoid generic AI-template styling, unrelated gradients, emoji-as-art, stock dashboard cards and placeholder geometry unless simple shapes serve a deliberate art style. Make an original game, not a reskin of the examples.

Optional tools: PixiJS (https://pixijs.com/) for 2D, Three.js (https://threejs.org/) for 3D, or Canvas/SVG/DOM for a small game. Choose one suitable stack, consult official docs, pin dependencies and bundle assets locally within the download budget. No required CDN or remote service. Keep loading fast and movement frame-rate independent on laptops and phones. Prefer a beautiful, focused scope over unfinished features.

Before delivery, play the full loop in a real browser. Inspect desktop and touch layouts and improve weak visuals/interactions. Run build, tests and sandboxed iframe checks. Commit README and actual test evidence; state limitations honestly. No missing evidence links or claims that unrun checks passed.

Read https://github.com/adaki2004/pepe2pepe-game-template/blob/main/AGENTS.md and INTEGRATION.md in that repository. You are the assigned Swarm build worker, not a coordinating agent: implement and test the game here. Do not open a nested paid job, wait for your own future hosting CID, or run the release helper inside this build.

Deliver a complete static dist/ export with index.html, pepe-game.json and an original cover image. Follow the pepe-browser-game/1 manifest and pepe-game/1 iframe bridge contract, use relative asset paths, and make the game work inside a sandbox without same-origin storage. Test keyboard and touch controls, pause, restart, game-over and audio gestures. Use original or properly licensed assets. Do not add wallets, payments or a login to the game.

REQUIRED FINAL STEP — REGISTER WITH PEPE2PEPE

The publishing workflow is incomplete until our registration callback succeeds. After Swarm hosting is available, the coordinating/publishing agent MUST run npm run release -- --job JOB_UUID in the template repository, using the actual admitted job ID. It validates the hosted export and calls POST https://game-api-production-2d95.up.railway.app/v1/game-submissions with id, jobId, cid, manifest and contact plus a private X-Game-Submission capability.

Preserve the saved receipt; retry timeouts, 429 and 5xx with backoff using the SAME command, ID and capability. Never repay or create duplicate submissions. Return the website, Explorer link, submission ID and actual review status. A hosted URL alone is not a submission. Pending means awaiting admin review, never approved. Keep credentials out of game code, public artifacts and logs.

Build-worker handoff: hosting happens after your task finishes. Include these callback instructions in README and your final handoff for the post-publication agent. If no continuation is available, explicitly report "Registration pending: post-publication agent required"; do not claim end-to-end completion or put the callback in the browser game.

Highbug: WebKit executes each touch tap twice. Construction, army and minimap panels close immediately; Order and Mute toggle back off.
Mediumbug: Touch minimap coordinates ignore letterboxing. Tapping HQ centers 130m away at 390px and 467m away at 700px.
Mediumbug: Shift-queuing harvesting immediately replaces the active crystal field.
Mediumbug: Restarting clears an arcade-owned pause without receiving a resume message.
Mediumbug: Canceling construction leaves Order highlighted while subsequent taps perform selection.

Each JSON finding includes the exact source snippet, change, rationale and measured reproduction.

Independent checks passed: build, typecheck, 27 engine tests and 40 Chromium browser checks, including natural victory, defeat, replay and the storage-denied iframe. The rebuilt export matches the delivered export byte-for-byte. WebKit touch testing exposed the high finding. WebKit audio output remains unverified because this machine also failed a minimal audio control with a missing audio sink.

The visual idea is coherent: a Pepe miniature RTS presented through a rain-soaked military command console. The probe’s four styling flags concern casing, an operation label, font weights and button shadow; the requested military treatment supports retaining that identity.

The requirement audit follows. Missing means required behavior fails in the reproduced state, even where the feature otherwise exists.

    • highbug: WebKit touch taps execute twice and disable core command togglessrc/main.ts:729

Now: The pointerup handler calls button.click(), then the duplicate-click filter accepts only absent/touch pointerType. WebKit emits the compatibility click with pointerType="mouse", so the same physical tap executes both clicks. Build base, Train army and Minimap immediately close; Order and Mute toggle back off.

Change to: Make each touch gesture activate its control exactly once. Prefer the native click path; if the touch workaround is retained, deduplicate the compatibility click by the handled target/gesture rather than assuming its pointerType is touch. Preserve mouse and keyboard activation.

Why: This repeats across the primary game controls and makes the required touch RTS controls unusable in WebKit, the engine used by iPhone browsers.

Playwright WebKit 26.0 (build 2215), 390×844, isMobile=true and hasTouch=true: load the untouched dist export, tap Deploy to Nightfall, then Take command.

Tap Build base, Train army or Minimap once: .command-panel.mobile-open is false after every tap.

Tap Select army then Order: five units are selected, but snapshot.commandMode remains "select"; tapping ground clears selection and gives no movement orders.

Tap Mute once: snapshot.audio.muted remains false.

Capture click events on #app: each tap produces an untrusted synthetic click followed 2–15ms later by a trusted click with detail=1 and pointerType="mouse", which line 733 does not suppress.

The same touch script in Chromium reports panels open, commandMode="order", and muted=true because its trusted click has pointerType="touch".

Expected: each of these five toggles changes state exactly once per tap.

No injected game-state mutations are used.

    • mediumbug: touch minimap taps jump away from the visible destinationsrc/main.ts:649

Now: The touch minimap uses object-fit: contain, but jump() maps the entire canvas element, including its letterboxing, to world coordinates.

Change to: Normalize pointer coordinates against the fitted image rectangle (excluding the border and letterboxing), or keep the displayed canvas at its native 4:3 ratio with no letterboxing.

Why: The requested minimap click-to-jump must center the position the player actually taps; the current error grows substantially on wider touch layouts.

Chromium, 390×844, touch: Deploy to Nightfall → Take command → Minimap.

Tap the center of your visible HQ marker at CSS (93.27,477.23).

The canvas box is (23,429,344,220), while the contained map is 290.67×218.

      The HQ is world (360,390); read-only window.PEPEFRONT.snapshot().camera instead reports (490.23,394.64), a 130m horizontal error.

Repeat at 700×844: tap (248.27,477.23); camera becomes (826.67,394.64), 467m east of HQ.

Expected: both taps center (360,390), within rounding tolerance.

    • mediumbug: Shift-queued harvesting immediately replaces the active crystal fieldsrc/game.ts:665

Now: issue() appends a Shift order but immediately replaces harvestNode with the queued destination. harvest() reads that mutable field instead of the active order, so the first order remains at the head of the queue while the harvester heads to the second field.

Change to: Set harvestNode when a harvest order becomes active, not when it is appended; define completion of a harvesting cycle and advance to the next queued order then.

Why: The brief explicitly requires Shift-queued orders, and harvesters are central to resource production. Appending an order must preserve the current assignment.

Chromium, 1440×900: start a Recruit 1v1 as Initiative.

Select the southwest starting Harvester Pepe near world (280,480).

Right-click the southwest crystal field (210,640), then Shift-right-click the north field (520,210).

Diagnostics show orders=[harvest target 0, harvest target 1].

After eight simulation seconds the same harvester is near (449.11,451.28), with zero cargo and both orders unchanged: it travels east toward the second field instead of southwest to the active first field.

Expected: finish the first harvesting cycle before heading to the queued field.

The unconditional assignment at line 672 changes harvestNode to 1 as soon as Shift is pressed.

A deterministic engine cross-check with seed 8127 and the same two issued orders confirms that at t=30s harvestNode=1 and the harvester has 118.4 cargo near (463.94,235.13), while target 0 is still the first order.

    • mediumbug: restarting bypasses an active arcade pausesrc/main.ts:169

Now: startMatch() clears hostPaused and creates an unpaused game even when the arcade has paused the iframe. The host-paused dialog still permits Restart operation.

Change to: Preserve the host pause across restart and lobby transitions; initialize the new match paused and keep it paused until a valid parent resume arrives.

Why: The pepe-game/1 parent pause must remain authoritative. Restarting should not make the simulation run behind an arcade overlay.

Chromium, 1440×900, iframe sandbox="allow-scripts allow-pointer-lock": send init with protocol pepe-game/1 and channel review-test from the parent, deploy a match, then send pause with the same protocol/channel.

Confirm Resume operation is disabled and diagnostics report paused=true.

Click Restart operation, then confirm Restart operation.

      Do not send resume.

After 2.2 real seconds the new match reports paused=false and time=2.3332.

Expected: the restarted match remains paused at its initial time until the matching parent resume.

    • mediumbug: canceling construction leaves Order visibly enabled while taps selectsrc/main.ts:435

Now: chooseBuild() sets commandMode to select without clearing the Order button's aria-pressed state. After canceling placement, Order remains highlighted but a destination tap clears the army selection instead of moving it.

Change to: Update commandMode and the Order button through one shared setter; whenever construction switches to selection, set aria-pressed="false" and remove the pressed appearance.

Why: The primary touch command must accurately show whether the next tap selects or orders. The stale state silently discards the player's intended movement.

Chromium touch, 390×844 (also reproduced at 320×844): Deploy → Take command → Select army → Order → Build base → Power plant → Cancel placement.

Tap empty battlefield ground near CSS (195,420).

Before the tap, Order has aria-pressed="true" but read-only snapshot.commandMode is "select".

After it, selection=[] and all five starting Recruits still have orders=[].

Expected: either the Order button visibly turns off when construction begins, or order mode is restored and the destination tap orders the selected army.

WebKit touch controls execute twiceAt 390×844, Base, Army, Minimap, Order and Mute each toggle once. Mouse, keyboard and Chromium’s post-drag activation also pass.
Minimap taps miss their destinationAt 320/390/700px, HQ taps land within 10 world units in both engines. Chromium’s original 390px reproduction now returns approximately (360,390).
Shift-queued harvesting replaces the active fieldBoth engines retain field 0 while collecting its load, then advance to field 1 after delivery. Engine tests also cover depleted fields and queued movement.
Restart bypasses arcade pauseAt 1440×900 in the specified sandbox, restart remains paused=true, time=0 after 2.2 seconds. Wrong-channel resume is rejected; lobby transitions preserve pause.
Construction cancellation leaves Order highlightedAt 320/390px in both engines, cancellation leaves mode=select, aria-pressed=false. Re-enabling Order moves the selected army.

Independent verification completed: 31 engine tests, 35 regression checks and 40 full-game browser checks passed, with no page errors or failed resources. A natural victory occurred at 336 seconds; sandboxed defeat, score delivery and replay also passed. Type checking and export validation passed, and a temporary rebuild matched every submitted dist/ file byte for byte.

One initial harvesting assertion sampled a full harvester already returning toward HQ; it did not reproduce the original defect. The unchanged regression suite passed on rerun. Browser reports are available in the review evidence and full-game results.
