The whole request

Update the BLACKOUT pre-launch site (previous site jobs e30bc484 and c2fd0306; keep the pixel style, palette, DEMO mode with no wallet, ChainAdapter architecture). Goal: people discover the game, play the demo and read the docs before launch. Publish with label "blackout" if available; if member site names are closed, publish with the auto label and do not block. X: https://x.com/IMDBlackout

STRUCTURE (static, no server rewrites, state shared via localStorage)

  • Landing (/): hero city art, tagline "Open packs. Mine the city. Pray the grid stays on.", 3 short lines, buttons PLAY DEMO, READ DOCS, FOLLOW ON X, and a "Launching soon on Robinhood Chain" badge. No dates.
  • Farm (/farm): main demo screen. Rooms (6 slots each), inventory (15 slots), balance, claim, withdraw (with tax preview), electricity, repair, overclock, merge, scrap, active combos, account level and XP, epoch timer, district status, current event, dispatcher letters panel.
  • Open Packs (/packs): juicy opening animation (shake, seal break, light burst, cards flip one by one, rarity glow: cyan Rare, magenta Epic, yellow Legendary, red Mythic with screen flash), live dynamic price, odds, combo guide.
  • Docs (/docs): player guide, see DOCS below.
  • Nav on all inner pages: FARM | OPEN PACKS | DOCS.

GAME MODEL (all numbers in one config object, later read from the Params contract; label them "beta values, may change")

  • Epoch = 6h (demo: 45 seconds). Mining, events and claims update every epoch.
  • Packs: 3 items, dynamic price 0.010 ETH start, 0.006 floor, 0.03 ceiling, rises with demand, decays when quiet. Token packs priced in tokens at 10% discount. No quantity limits.
  • Rarity: Common 70%, Rare 22%, Epic 6.7%, Legendary 1%, Mythic 0.3% (Mythic drops only from level 10). Hash 10/28/80/250/800.
  • 12 soulbound items with tags: GPU, ASIC, FPGA (compute, full hash); Power Supply, Battery, Solar Panel (power); Fan, Liquid Cooling (cooling); Router (network); Motherboard, Server Rack, Surge Protector (infra). Non-compute items mine at 60%. Each type gets its own pixel sprite per rarity.
  • Room = 6 slots, any items, no duplicate type. Combos (cap +40% hash per room): Compute Duo GPU+ASIC +10%; Triple Core GPU+ASIC+FPGA +20%; Full Stack all 5 tags +15%; Airflow Fan+Server Rack +5% and fire halved; Cold Power PSU+Liquid Cooling electricity -15% and fire immune; Off-grid Solar+Battery electricity -20% and outage loses 50% not 100%; Clean Power Surge Protector+PSU surge immune; Locked Rack Router+Server Rack cable theft immune; rarity set 3+ same rarity +5/10/20/30%. Show active and missing combos with hints.
  • Inventory 15 slots; full inventory blocks opening packs; scrap (tiny value), merge 3 into next rarity, expand +5 slots for tokens.
  • Rooms: room 1 at start, room 2 after 3 days, room 3 at level 7, room 4 at level 10.
  • Levels: XP from active epochs, packs, in-game spend. Equip gates: Epic level 3, Legendary level 5, Mythic level 10. Locked items show a lock and the level needed.
  • Durability -0.5 per epoch, repair with tokens. Electricity tariff 15%. Withdraw tax 20% falling to 5% over 7 days; in-game spend has no tax and +5% bonus.
  • City: 8 districts. Events each epoch: Outage, Power surge (item can burn), Server fire, Cable theft, Tax audit, Green wave (+10%), Cheap tariff (-50% electricity), Calm. Supply drop when pack sales spike. Lobby your district to lower bad-event odds. Each event shows a dispatcher letter in grid-operator voice and which combo would have protected you.
  • Weekly season: best district gets free packs, lottery for 3 farms, best farm prize. Season countdown and district leaderboard.
  • Referral link and dashboard (5% of invitees' mining). Identity MD NFT holders: 1 free starter pack.

DOCS (/docs, also docs.md in the repo)

Plain English, short sections with tables: What is BLACKOUT; How to start; Packs and prices; Items and rarity; Rooms and combos; Inventory; Levels; Mining, balance, withdraw tax; Farm costs; The city and swarm events (with protections); How the swarm runs the grid (6h epochs, anyone can trigger the next epoch for a small reward, fallback if the swarm is silent, swarm acts only within hard limits); Lobbying; Weekly season; Referrals; NFT holder pack; Token and launch (IMD launch on Robinhood Chain, 10% to IMD swarm contributors, part of supply seeds the game reward pool, exact split announced at launch); Where the money goes (packs 85% reward pool / 13% team / 2% swarm heartbeat; no team tokens; all in-game token spends go back to the reward pool, no burns); Who controls what (no owner, no upgrades, swarm only within bounds); Risks (rewards depend on new players and volume, early players earn more, not financial advice). Mark numbers as beta. Never promise returns.

Saved 6 verified findings: 1 high, 5 medium in [.imd-findings.json][report]. Each includes an exact source snippet, proposed change and measured reproduction. Website files remain unchanged.

    • High — fidelity: mobile gameplay hides the required beta-values label.
    • Medium — bug: “Back to guide contents” does nothing after reading by scrolling.
    • Medium — accessibility: changing pack currency drops keyboard focus.
    • Medium — bug: revealing a card moves the remaining controls down 39.94px.
    • Medium — taste: selecting inventory hardware leaves Install 295px below the viewport.
    • Medium — taste/copy: dashboard slogans obscure routine task names.

The demo interaction checks and 18 additional rule checks passed. Tested layouts showed no overflow or clipped text at 320, 390 and 1440 pixels. WebKit could not run because every browser-download attempt timed out. Publication remains unverified: the supplied handoff contains no new live revision URL/CID.

The visual idea is clear: BLACKOUT is a mining-farm demo carried by a neon pixel city whose power can fail. The requested pixel style explains several style-only probe flags.

“Met” below includes explicitly labelled local simulations. Related requirements sharing evidence are grouped into checklist entries.

    • highfidelity: mobile gameplay hides the required beta-values labelsrc/style.css:485

Now: At widths of 580px and below, the only beta-values notice on Farm and Open Packs is removed with display:none, while prices, odds, costs and taxes remain visible.

Change to: Remove this display:none rule and let the existing demo-strip span occupy its own line in the mobile column layout.

Why: The brief explicitly requires game numbers to be labelled “beta values, may change”; mobile visitors currently receive no such qualification on either gameplay page.

      Chromium, 390×844 (also applies at 320px): open a fresh #/farm, then #/packs.

On each page evaluate getComputedStyle(document.querySelector(".demo-strip span")).display: it is "none". document.body.innerText.match(/beta[^\n]*/gi) returns null on both routes, although the span text is "Beta values, may change".

At 1440px the same label is visible.

Expected: the qualification remains visible beside the demo/gameplay numbers at mobile widths.

    • mediumbug: Back to guide contents does nothing after reading by scrollingsrc/docs.ts:123

Now: Every “Back to guide contents” link points to #/docs, but returning to the top relies on a hashchange handler. A visitor who opens #/docs and reads by scrolling is already at that hash, so these links do nothing.

Change to: Handle the existing docs-back links explicitly: prevent the default action, focus the contents heading and scroll the contents into view even when the hash is already #/docs.

Why: The guide offers a return control after every section; it must return readers to navigation in the ordinary scrolling workflow.

Chromium, 390×844, reduced motion: load /#/docs directly; scroll down to the Risks section without using a contents link; click its “Back to guide contents” link.

Before and after clicking, location.hash is "#/docs" and scrollY is 17693; .docs-contents stays at viewport y=-17221.6875.

Expected: the contents heading is brought into view and receives focus.

The same no-op occurs on every section when the hash remains #/docs.

    • mediumaccessibility: choosing a pack currency drops keyboard focussrc/main.ts:287

Now: Changing a currency radio rerenders all of main. These radios have no IDs, so render() cannot restore their focus; the active element becomes BODY after every choice.

Change to: Give each currency radio a stable ID (currency-eth, currency-tokens, currency-free) so the existing focus restoration restores the selected radio, or update only the quote instead of replacing the radio group.

Why: Keyboard users must be able to choose pack currency with consecutive arrow keys and retain a visible focus indicator on this primary purchase control.

Chromium, 390×844: open a fresh #/packs; focus input[name="currency"][value="eth"] and press ArrowRight.

Tokens becomes checked, but document.activeElement.tagName is "BODY" and no currency has keyboard focus.

Press ArrowLeft: ETH is not reselected because the group no longer has focus.

Expected: focus remains on the Tokens radio and ArrowLeft immediately returns to ETH.

The change handler calls render(); render() only preserves document.activeElement.id, which is empty for both radio inputs.

    • mediumtaste: empty inventory cells separate the selected item from its actions on mobilesrc/main.ts:114

Now: Selecting a spare item puts Install, Merge and Scrap after the entire 15-slot grid. On a fresh phone-sized farm, empty cells occupy the rest of the screen and the install action is below the viewport, while the room slots are far above.

Change to: Move the existing inventory-selection block directly after the filter and before the inventory grid, and bring that block into view after a mobile selection. Keep the 15 cells below it; the former action area should collapse without leaving a gap.

Why: The first playable step is selecting and installing hardware. Show the selected item’s next action beside that choice instead of requiring another search past unused slots.

Chromium, 390×844, reduced motion, fresh #/farm: click empty room slot 2, dismiss the guidance notice, then select the Common Power Supply.

The selected item occupies viewport y=545.95–698.95; the grid extends to y=1034.95 and Install item is at y=1139.14–1183.14, 295px below the screen.

The screenshot shows the selection and empty cells but no action.

Expected: selecting a component exposes its existing install/action panel within view.

    • mediumtaste: dashboard slogans obscure the names of routine taskssrc/main.ts:135

Now: The Farm opens with “Keep the rigs running. Give the grid a reason to stay on.” and labels routine panels “The city never sleeps.”, “Give your district a voice.” and “Bring your neighbors.” The pack pricing panel is titled “A living price.”

Change to: Omit the Farm description paragraph and close its 44.8px mobile space; rename those panel headings to “City grid”, “Lobby your district”, “Referrals” and “Pack pricing”. Render no empty paragraph when a pageHeading description is blank.

Why: Farm and Open Packs are task screens. Their headings should identify the control or data below them so first-time players can scan for grid status, lobbying, referral rewards and pricing.

      Chromium, 390×844: open #/farm.

The heading description occupies two lines in a 44.8px-tall paragraph; scroll to the city and referral panels to see the three slogan headings quoted above.

Open #/packs and scroll below the reveal area to find “A living price.” above pricing rules.

These are functional panels, whereas the landing already supplies the requested marketing tagline.

Expected: these headings directly name their task and the removed description leaves no placeholder gap.

    • mediumbug: revealing a card pushes the remaining pack controls downsrc/style.css:574

Now: Mobile card backs reserve only 224px. The first ordinary reveal grows the whole card row to 263.94px and pushes Reveal all and the odds downward; longer names and equip-lock labels grow it further.

Change to: Reserve a consistent card footprint before and after reveal. For the current mobile type scale, change this min-height to 288px and keep the three cards stretched to that minimum; verify all item names and locked rarities at 320px and 390px without clipping text.

Why: Revealing a saved card should not displace the next control. A stable reveal area keeps the staged opening readable and predictable, including with reduced motion enabled.

Chromium, 390×844, reduced motion, fresh #/packs: open one demo pack, dismiss the seal notice, measure #cards and #reveal-all, then reveal card 1 (the default-seed Common Router) and dismiss its notice.

Before: card row height 224px, Reveal all top 597.390625px.

After: row height 263.9375px, Reveal all top 637.328125px.

Both have moved/grown by 39.9375px without scrolling or viewport changes.

      The revealed-row top remains 322.203125px.

Expected: the card row and next controls retain their initial geometry.

All six previous findings are fixed. [.imd-findings.json][findings] contains {"findings":[]}. No website files were changed.

The 18 regression checks passed, including 120 card combinations. Independent visitor walkthroughs passed in Chromium and WebKit at 320, 390 and 1440px. WebKit required software rendering; physical-device behavior and the revised live deployment were not verified.

    Previous findingSettlement and measured evidence
fidelity: mobile beta label hiddenFixed. Farm and Packs show the label with display:block; at 390px it occupies y148.75–167.94.
bug: guide return does nothingFixed. Scrolling directly to Risks, then returning, changes scrollY from 17996 to 467 and focuses docs-contents-title. All 19 return links passed.
accessibility: currency choice loses focusFixed. ArrowRight focuses and selects currency-tokens; ArrowLeft immediately restores currency-eth. Free-credit navigation also passed.
taste: inventory actions below empty cellsFixed. At 390px, Install occupies y112.55–156.55 above the grid. All 15 cells remain; installation succeeds.
taste: dashboard slogans hide task namesFixed. The four requested headings are present. Farm renders zero description paragraphs, leaving no empty placeholder.
bug: mobile card reveal displaces controlsFixed. At 320/390px, cards remain 288px tall through reveals. At 390px, Reveal all remains at y629.58, with unchanged scroll position.

The five raw probe flags concern uppercase buttons, the beta notice above the hero, monospace prose, repeated launch wording, and button borders with shadows. The brief explicitly requests the pixel style, named buttons and beta qualification. These measurements do not establish a new defect in this revision.

BLACKOUT is a playable mining-game preview carried by one visual idea: a neon pixel city whose unreliable power grid governs the farm.

The following 74 grouped checks cover the explicit brief. Met describes the supplied source/export and its disclosed local demo. Publication confirmation is missing evidence, not a reproduced hosting failure, so it is not added as a finding.
