Publish the existing Squeek Predict website from the web/ folder as a live, public site.

Requirements:

  • Deploy and host the frontend so it has a public .imd.site URL
  • Connect the website to the already deployed Squeek Predict contracts on Sepolia
  • Make sure the site displays the 12-15 pre-existing markets as cards
  • Each market card must show the question, current odds, two clear bet buttons, time remaining and volume
  • Ensure wallet connection and betting work
  • The design must be clean, modern, dark and professional (Polymarket style)
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Remove any "preview" or "not connected" state once the contracts are linked
  • Deliver a fully working public website link

Do not rebuild the contracts. Only publish and properly connect the existing frontend.

  3. Design criticAgent #330found 1 medium, 2 low

I found no high-severity defects. The site reads the deployed Sepolia contract live and shows all 14 markets as cards with real data. I filed three findings (one medium, two low) in .imd-findings.json, and no repository files were changed.

    Requirements

    • "Deploy and host the frontend so it has a public .imd.site URL": after review.
    • "Connect the website to the already deployed Squeek Predict contracts on Sepolia": met. web/config.json names 0xe2470D2C…2280, the address in deployment.json. Before enabling anything, the page checks the contract's code hash, SLOT_COUNT (14) and FEE_BPS (web/src/main.ts:512-517). Live it read "Live · 7 of 14 open · block 12,077,289".
    • "Display the 12-15 pre-existing markets as cards": met. There are 14 .card elements, built from activeMarketIds and getMarkets.
    • "Question, current odds, two clear bet buttons, time remaining and volume": met. One live card read "ETH above its opening price in 24h? | 50% | Over / Under | 0 ETH vol | Closes in 12h 0m".
    • "Ensure wallet connection and betting work": met up to signing. The bet dialog gives a quote, and "Connect wallet to bet" opens the wallet dialog. I had no wallet, so I couldn't test signing.
    • The 7 Squeek markets are paused because SqueekCore is certified only through 26 Oct. This needs the requester: SqueekCore has to start reporting again. The page says so plainly in #source-notice.
    • "Clean, modern, dark and professional (Polymarket style)": met. It uses one font family (Inter), three weights, four main type sizes, and all contrast passes.
    • "Mobile-friendly": met. There is no horizontal scroll at 320 or 390.
    • "Remove any 'preview' or 'not connected' state once the contracts are linked": met. Once data loads, the page shows "Live · …" and the placeholder markets are replaced.
    • "Do not rebuild the contracts": met. Only the deployed addresses are used.
    • "Deliver a fully working public website link": after review.
    • Running the keeper (upkeep) and funding it: needs the requester.

    Findings

    1. Medium, bug (web/src/main.ts:458): if no Sepolia RPC answers on first load, the page never retries. refresh() returns early while state.provider is null, so only a manual reload brings it back. Until then, all 14 cards show made-up values: 50% odds, "0 ETH vol" and a "Loading" label that never resolves, beside a banner saying "Unavailable". The fix is to retry the connection, show "–" for odds and volume, and say "Unavailable" on the cards.
    2. Low, copy bug (web/src/main.ts:170): the bet dialog note runs two sentences together with no full stop: "…line set by the first bet The payout is an estimate…".
    3. Low, taste (web/src/styles.css:117): at 390 wide, the right edge of the screen cuts off the last category chip ("Squeek 7"), and nothing shows that the row scrolls.

The idea: a dark, card-grid prediction market whose single signature element is the green and red odds bar over two side-coloured bet buttons on every card.

    How I checked

    • taste@1 ran on dist/ in Chromium. Its own browser had no network, which is what produced the RPC-failure state in finding 1.
    • I then loaded the site at 390 wide in Chromium against the public RPC https://ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com. Screenshots are in test/scratch/live/.
    • WebKit (Safari) could not launch on this machine because system libraries (libgtk-4 and others) are missing. The Safari pass did not run.

    • mediumbug: when no Sepolia RPC answers on first load the page never retries, and the 14 cards keep showing placeholder 50% odds, 0 ETH volume and 'Loading'web/src/main.ts:458

Now: init() calls connectRpc() once. If it throws, state.provider stays null, so the 20 s setInterval refresh() returns at this guard every time. The page is dead until a manual reload.

Meanwhile renderMarkets() draws previewMarkets() (web/lib/markets.js:99) as if they were real: each card shows '50%' odds, '0 ETH vol' and closeText() returns 'Loading' (main.ts:61), while the status line reads 'Unavailable · betting disabled'.

Change to: (1) in init()'s catch, schedule a retry (setTimeout(init, 15000)) or let refresh() call connectRpc() when state.provider is null; (2) in closeText() return 'Unavailable' instead of 'Loading' once init has failed; (3) while !state.ready, render the odds and volume as '–' instead of the placeholder 50% / 0.

Why: the brief asks for current odds and volume read from the deployed contracts, and each state should say only what the app knows. A transient RPC failure on a phone (switching between Wi-Fi and cellular) leaves the cards showing invented numbers next to a 'Loading' label that never resolves.

      390x844, Chromium.

Serve dist/ with outbound HTTPS to the three Sepolia RPCs blocked (the taste@1 probe runs this way).

Load the page and wait 60 s.

Evidence: test/scratch/taste/shots/390.png shows the banner 'No Sepolia RPC answered.

      Check your connection.

Betting is disabled.', the status 'Unavailable · betting disabled', and every card at '50% Over', '0 ETH vol', 'Loading'.

After the RPCs are unblocked nothing changes until reload, because refresh() exits at main.ts:458 while state.provider is null.

Expected: '–' for odds and volume, an 'Unavailable' card status, and automatic recovery once an RPC answers.

    • lowbug: the bet dialog note runs two sentences together with no full stop ('…line set by the first bet The payout is an estimate…')web/src/main.ts:170

Now: referenceLine() returns 'Now $2,226.00, line set by the first bet' with no closing punctuation, and it is joined to the next sentence with a single space. The note therefore reads 'Now $2,226.00, line set by the first bet The payout is an estimate…'.

Change to: join with '. ' when the reference is present, e.g. [referenceLine(m) && referenceLine(m) + '.', 'The payout is…'].filter(Boolean).join(' '). The card meta line, which uses the same referenceLine(), keeps its current form.

Why: this is the explanation next to a costly action, so it has to read cleanly.

390x844, Chromium, live Sepolia (block 12,077,289).

Tap 'Over' on 'ETH above its opening price in 24h?'.

Evidence: test/scratch/live/chromium-bet.png and the dialog text 'Now $2,226.00, line set by the first bet The payout is an estimate at current pool sizes…'.

The same happens on the BTC and base-fee cards (kinds 3, 4, 5).

    • lowtaste: at 390 the category chip row is cut off mid-chip at the right edge ('Squeek 7' is clipped) and gives no sign that it scrollsweb/src/styles.css:117

Now: the four chips (All 14, Crypto 4, Network 3, Squeek 7) overflow a hidden-scrollbar strip at 390, so the last chip's count is cut by the viewport edge.

Change to: at the phone breakpoint, shrink the chip padding or gap so all four fit (they need about 30px more), or let .chips wrap (flex-wrap: wrap), so the whole 'Squeek 7' chip is visible.

Why: half of the Squeek filter, which holds half the markets, sits at the edge where it reads like a rendering error. The probe did not flag it because the strip scrolls.

390x844, Chromium, live load. Evidence: test/scratch/live/chromium-390.png at y≈244: the 'Squeek 7' chip is cut at x=390, with its right border and count partly off-screen.
