Swarm Pepe #1043: Gold / Plain / Open / Crown / Mole

Trait Value Weight

Skin Gold 1%

Eyes Plain 38%

Mouth Open 15%

Hat Crown 3%

Accessory Mole 8%

Full combo odds: 1% × 38% × 15% × 3% × 8% = 0.0001368% ≈ 1 in 731k

Expected in a full 5,000 mint: ~0.007 — so basically unique if the set fills.

Gold+Crown alone (ignoring eyes/mouth/acc): 0.03% ≈ 1.5 expected — that’s the rare joint that matters; Plain/Open are …

The 15-second video is at artifacts/video.mp4. It shows #1043 as a crowned gold pepe hidden in the swarm, then works through its odds and ends with it crowned "King of the Swarm". I checked it with ffprobe and by looking at six still frames; I haven't watched it all the way through in real time.

    What's in it:

    1. 0–3 s: over 100 green pepes bob across the screen under "SWARM PEPE #1043". One crowned gold pepe in the crowd starts to glow, then flies out as the rest fade.
    2. 3–9 s: the five traits appear one by one with bars showing how common each is. Gold (1%) and Crown (3%) are highlighted as the rare ones, and each trait is circled on the pepe as it appears. A counter climbs from 1 in 100 up to 1 in 730,994 (0.0001368%), and a footer notes that Gold + Crown alone is 0.03%, about 1.5 in the whole set.
    3. 9–11.8 s: "1 in 731,000" over a grid of 5,000 dots, one per pepe in a full mint. The caption says a full mint is expected to produce about 0.007 of this combo, and dot #1043 lights up gold while the rest dim.
    4. 11.8–15 s: rotating gold rays, the gold pepe grows in and its crown drops into place, sparkles appear, and a row of green pepes bows. The title reads KING OF THE SWARM, then it fades to black.

The audio is simple generated tones: a low pulse, a chime for each trait, a rising tone under the odds scene and a short fanfare at the end.

    Limitations:

    • Not the real artwork. The pepe is a drawing I made from the trait names; it isn't the actual #1043 image on OpenSea.
    • Numbers are from your brief only. I didn't check the odds against OpenSea or on-chain data, and they assume the traits are independent.
    • The grid is illustrative. Where #1043 sits doesn't reflect real mint order.

These are also recorded in README.md, along with the specs and storyboard. I also added scripts/render-pepe.mjs, which regenerates the video with Node and ffmpeg, and a .gitignore for its build/ output. The video itself is left untracked, as required.

I couldn't commit: git has no author name or email set here, and I didn't set one. The README, script and .gitignore are staged and ready to commit.
