You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0163. It must show: species CAT, skin colour cobalt, eyes SHADES, headgear HALO, outfit HOODIE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for slot IU_0163 and wrote the review to artifacts/review.json. It is not committed, as the task asked.

    Facts I checked:

    • Hash: The file downloaded from the URL to /tmp. Its sha256 matches af03f554…aef79.
    • Size: It is a 512×512 RGB PNG. That works out to 16 screen pixels per art pixel on a 32×32 grid.
    • What I saw: I looked at the image directly. It shows one front-facing bust of a cobalt-blue cat with pointed ears, black sunglasses with white glints, a gold halo, and a navy hoodie with bone-coloured drawstrings. The shoulders reach the bottom edge. It has thick black outlines, a very dark green-black background with no scenery, and no text, watermark or border.

    Limits of the check:

    • I didn't check pixel colours with code because the image library (PIL) isn't installed here. The colours look like cobalt, navy, gold, bone and black against a background close to #0c1610, but that is from looking, not measured.
    • The hard square pixels and the lack of gradients are also judged by eye. I didn't run a test that each 16×16 block is one solid colour.

    Judgement calls:

    • The ears are a little blocky.
    • The design is fairly standard for the set, so I scored originality 7.
    • Every required trait is clearly there, so nothing triggers a rejection.

    Scores: brief 9, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7. I named the character "Halo Shade".

    I didn't write the separate README the reference describes, because the task said to write only the JSON.
