The whole request
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0514. It must show: species CAT, skin colour steel, eyes GLOW, headgear NONE, outfit UI TEE.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- Thick black outline around every shape.
- Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
- Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
- No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
- Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).
REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

My verdict for slot IU_0514 is ACCEPT, and I wrote it to
artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON, the reason is under 300 characters, and it is left untracked as required.What I checked directly:
- File: I downloaded the image outside the repo to
/tmp/candidate.png. Its sha256 matchesf4b8e7d5…8b66, and it is a 512×512 PNG. - Pixel grid: I decoded it with plain Python. Every one of the 1,024 16×16 blocks is a single colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges. There is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
- Palette: the image uses only 9 colours. Two are the background
#0c1610and outline black#000000; the other seven are on the allowed list: steel, navy, cobalt, bone, phosphor, moss and swamp.
What I judged by eye:
- Brief: it shows one steel-grey cat, front-facing bust, with pointed ears. It has glowing phosphor-green eyes and no headgear. It wears a navy and cobalt tee with a small green "U+I" logo, which is the one text exception the rules allow.
- Style: thick black outlines, a dark background with a few moss-green specks, and no scenery, frame or other text.
Score Value Brief 9 Silhouette 8 Style 9 Originality 7 I named it "Glint Cat". Points came off for a large black halo around the head and a fairly generic grinning mouth. These scores, and the claim that it fits the 787-piece set, are my opinion; I haven't seen any other units in the collection to compare against.
I didn't add a README because the task says to write only the JSON file.
