I made artifacts/image.png: a 512 × 512 PNG of a lagoon-coloured cat with dot eyes, a beanie and a robe. It isn't tracked in Git, as the task asks.

How it was made: No imaging library was installed, so I wrote a small Python script (tools/iu_0001.py) that places each pixel of a 32 × 32 sprite by hand. It scales each pixel up to a 16 × 16 block and writes the PNG directly, so there's no smoothing or blur. I looked at the result three times and fixed things along the way. The ears were first square blocks, and then they covered the top of the beanie so it looked like a headband.

What it shows:

• The cat: front-facing and centred, with black dot eyes, a pink nose and blush, and pink inside the ears.
• Beanie: red with brown ribs and a white pompom. The ears poke through it.
• Robe: lilac with gold V-neck edges, blue folds, a navy seam and a small green badge. The shoulders run off the bottom edge.
• Background: solid #0c1610 with six small green specks.

Every shape has a thick black outline. There's no text, frame or border.

What a script confirmed: the file is a 512 × 512 PNG, every 16 × 16 block is a single colour, and the shoulders reach the bottom edge. Every colour comes from the allowed palette except black.

What may not meet the brief:

• Black: it isn't in the listed palette. I used it only for the outline the brief requires and for the dot eyes.
• Matching the 787-piece set: I couldn't check this because I had no other pieces from the set to compare against.

The script and a README.md describing the image and these two points are committed. Git needed an author name and email, so the commit is under your email address.
