The whole request
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0405. It must show: species BUG, skin colour bubblegum, eyes VISOR, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit ARMOR.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- Thick black outline around every shape.
- Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
- Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
- No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
- Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).
REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

I accepted the IU_0405 candidate and named it "Bubble Bug". The downloaded image's sha256 matches the expected hash.
What decoding the PNG showed:
- Grid: the image is 512×512, and every 16×16 block is a single solid colour. So it is an exact 32×32 grid scaled up with hard square edges, with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
- Colours: there are exactly 9. Seven are from the allowed palette (bubblegum, steel, navy, phosphor, bone, cobalt, moss). The other two are the black outline and the #0c1610 background, which has a few green specks.
What I saw by eye:
- Traits: all five are clearly present:
- Bug: pink head with two antennae.
- Visor: navy band with cobalt lenses.
- Headphones: steel ear cups with a mic boom.
- Armor: steel chest plate and pink shoulder pieces.
- Composition: one front-facing bust, centered, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. I saw no text, frame or watermark.
Scores: brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 8.
Limits: naming the traits is my judgement. Reading the mic boom as part of the headphones, and the chest and shoulder pieces as armor, is the point another reviewer is most likely to dispute. I didn't compare the image with the other Units in the set, so the originality score isn't measured against them.
The verdict is in
